Your Question About Easy Weight Loss

Helen asks…

I’m trying to loss weight for my 10 year high school reunion that is coming up in the next 8 months from now and i want to try to be 115-120lbs like i was in high school again. I’m 5’3 and 153lbs right now. I want to loss about 35-40lbs before the reunion so i can get back into my old prom dress that is a size 6 just for fun. What are some great workouts and diets to do when taking MEGA-T Green Tea Weight Loss Supplements? What where your results like after you took this weight loss supplements so i have a good idea on how it may work for me. Thank you to everyone who helps out with this one.

weight loss cardiff answers:

Probably not much, because the hardest way to lose weight is by putting something ELSE in your mouth. It sounds like you have a good goal and a realistic sense of time. Focus on your diet, as that accounts for aout 85% of weight loss, and leave your workouts for cardio conditioning, strength, and muscle tone. They’ll also buy you a little extra wiggle room when it comes to eating, because they’ll burn off SOME calories.

Focus on a diet low in carbs, less than 45g per meal, and focus on several small meals throughout the day. Throw out your big plates and eat off saucers. Seriously! That’s whta I did.
Eat plenty of fruits and vegetables in their natural form and lay off processed starches and sugars.

Regarding your workouts, a good rule is that if you can talk on your cell phone while you’re doing it, then you’re not working out. Get a heart rate monitor, get a trainer, and get a balanced workout and diet plan from them.

Yes, I do take supplements, but as a weight loss strategy, they really suck. All they do it take your money and make you feel like it makes a difference.

Donald asks…

What is the best weight loss supplement?

I am currently going to the gym and eating right, so I can lose a 100+lbs. I am wondering what the best weight loss supplement would be for me. I am working out every day. I weigh 309lbs and badly need to drop it. And feel that 1 lb a week is going to take forever. Thank you for you help.
I have changed my caloric diet and i am losing weight. I just want to know the best supplement to help speed up the process.

weight loss cardiff answers:

Congratulations on starting to take the initiative to get back in shape and become healthy again. You need both resistance and cardio exercise as well as proper eating (sounds like you are probably doing ok here) but supplements can help:

– good supplements: thermogenic fat burners like Ripped Fuel 5x or Hydroxycut Hardore. These increase your metabolism and provide more energy for work outs. They help metabolize the fat when your body temperature rises (i.e. From working out). Follow the instructions, take a dose b4 your workout, and don’t exceed the recommended daily allowance.

Helen asks…

What is a good weight loss supplement to use and any ideas for losing weight before summer?

I need to get a flat stomach and lose about 15/20 pounds. I am 130 right now and also what are some good weight loss supplements that have worked for you?

weight loss cardiff answers:

I highly suggest you eat change your lifestyle by eating healthy and losing weight that way rather than going on diet pills. There are no secrets or magic pills to help you lose weight the only way is to get in shape by exercising and eating healthy. I would recommend trying a mushroom risotto recipe, it is filling, full of all of the essential fats, protien and the caloric count is not that bad (around 500 for one serving). I love mushroom risotto, its orginal and there are a lot great mushroom risotto recipes to try out, check it out–>http://mushroomrisotto.org

John asks…

Has anyone tried the new weight loss supplement SlimChews?

I’ve heard a lot of buzz on TV about one of the newest weight loss supplements. I hate swallowing certain diet pills, and they always seem to make me jittery. I thought that SlimChews were a great idea, and was wondering if anyone has had any success with them?

weight loss cardiff answers:

I was a little skeptical at first, but after trying SlimChews, I’m hooked! I’ve tried other soft chew supplements that taste like chalk, but SlimChews really taste good. Kind of like a Starburst and a Fruit Roll-Up combined. Besides the great taste, they have really helped me lose weight. I’ve lost 15 pounds over the last couple of months. I know at one time they were offering a $1 trial for a limited time. I ordered them online at http://www.slimchews.com. You should definitely try them!

Robert asks…

What is a Good Weight Loss Supplement to use with Diet?

I am getting married in 6 weeks and would like to add a weight loss supplement to my diet and exercise routine. I follow a low-fat, low-calorie, high fiber diet (ie weight watchers) and exercise throughout the week. I see commercials for all different pills, but not sure which one would be good for me. I just want to maximize my weight loss in the weeks before my wedding. Ultimately, I would like to lose 10 lbs, please let me know what I can use to help accomplish this.

weight loss cardiff answers:

There are two all natural weight loss supplements that are safe and have no side effects. They are Cha de Bugre and Hoodia Gordonii.

Cha de Bugre, is a new supplement that is growing in popularity and is similar to Ma Huang (Ephedrine) without any of the bad effects. Cha de Bugre is from Brazil and has been used there safely for centuries. Cha de Bugre provides energy, fat burning and appetite suppression that benefit weight loss. Cha de Bugre also has additional uses that are known in Brazil that include being used as a mild diuretic, a cellulite reducer, aides in reducing herpes simplex outbreaks and a heart tonic. You can find more about it at http://hoodiagordonii.totalink.com/cha_de_bugre.html

Hoodia Gordonii is a natural appetite suppressant derived from a South African cactus that the bushmen have eaten there for thousands of years. You need to make sure you get a strong pure hoodia that is certified to be genuine. Check out Totalink’s unbiased Hoodia comparison at http://hoodiagordonii.totalink.com/hoodia_comparison.html in the “Confidence” column it will indicate if the brand is “Certified”. These Hoodia brands have the credentials to back up their product. Also in that column it will indicate if the brand is “Returnable”. These Hoodia brands allow you to return opened bottles and get your money back. I think this indicates that a company has confidence in their product that it works.

Keep in mind that Hoodia Gordonii alone provides appetite suppression but not fat burning. Cha de Bugre is a fat burner but not as good as hoodia with appetite suppression. There are also brands that mix Cha de Bugre with Hoodia Gordonii and other weight loss herbs like Green Tea that can increase both fat burning and appetite suppression.

I have written a lot of articles on Hoodia. Just search Yahoo or Google under my name “Andrew Aitaken” to find them.

Remember, you should always consult your physician before taking any diet pill or weight loss supplement.

Your Question About Easy Weight Loss

Sandy asks…

Can I lose weight in 3 days?

I Ate alot yesterday, and I woke up feeling like a total fatass!

So this is what, I’m gonna do.
Eat a small fish with lemon,
Drink water. and I’m NOT going to eat anything for the rest of the day!
And workout for 4 hours!!

weight loss cardiff answers:

Technically you can lose weight in 3 days; you can lose weight in 1 day. Your “weight” fluctuates regularly based on everything from your hydration, recent meals, bowel movements…So, while you could be lighter in just a day by doing what you plan, it probably will not have much of a long-term significance on your general appearance. The good news is, neither will your having “ate alot” on any one particular day either. So, if you are trying to compensate for “eating a lot” on one day by eating less another in order to avoid long-term weight gain, there’s no need: simply eat and exercise like you always do and you will look like you always have.

Long-term body changes come from long-term eating and exercise habits. Likewise, short-term changes to your diet will result in short-term changes.

My advice: don’t worry so much about pigging out once in a while. Being overweight doesn’t result from someone eating their entire birthday cake, it comes from them eating an entire cake on everyone else’s birthday.

Maria asks…

Fast Way To Lose Weight In 3 Days?

I really need to lose a bit of weight FAST!
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance <33
Look, im not fat.
I just want to lose a bit for an occasion.
No stupid suggestions please

weight loss cardiff answers:

You can lose water weight fast, but once you start rehydrating yourself you’ll put the weight on…anyway since this is just a quick fix for an occasion i’ll help you out.

Tip 1.
Do 45 mins cardio(jogging, walking, cycling) first thing in the morning on a empty stomach, training on a empty stomach will force your body to use muscle mass and fat for fuel, this will result in a smaller body and less body fat.

Tip 2.
Consume all your carbs (pasta, rice, potatoes, bread, fruits) before lunch, and eat only protein and veg afterwards. Having your carbs early on in the day will give you enough energy to get through the day, and prevent you from putting on weight because your metabolism slows down as the afternoon and evening come.

Tip 3.
Reduce your water intake, since our bodies is mainly 70% water, dehydrating will cause the body to lose size, I wouldn’t normally advise this because it’s not the healthiest way to lose weight, and soon as you start drinking water you’ll put the weight back on (but you did say its only for a special occasion)

Tip 4.
Eat 5-6 small meals a day to speed up your metabolism, this tells your body to start burning calories fast, because your body knows it will be getting food every 3 hours, creating this routine is very effective.

Tip 5.
Use a weight loss supplement like lean system 7, caffeine or Tight by San, this will help your body burn a extra 25-50 calories a day.

I hope this helps

Lisa asks…

How to lose muscle / weight in 3 days?

In February, I am going away for 3 full days and I have a ballet school audition at the end of February. I need to take this chance to lose some muscle weight HEALTHILY.

About me on a daily basis:
– Consume about 1500-1600 calories. I try not to snack and keep it at 1200-1300 most days.
– 5’4
– 124lbs

1. Is it possible to lose 6-12 lbs in 3 days with healthy eating (not starving myself) and 2 hours of running per day?

2. How do we lose muscles in our calves? My calves are VERY big (muscular, not fat due to dance). My thighs are becoming muscular too. Are there any exercises good for losing calories and also leaning out your calf muscles?

3. What should I eat to reduce the production of muscles? I usually eat a lot of meat (haha meatarian). What works?

4. Have any of you tried HEALTHY diets before? Ones that won’t make you gain all your weight back right away (from your body being on starvation mode).

5. I am about 124lb and 5’4. What is the “average weight” for girls who are 5’4?

NOTE: I am a professional dancer so I can’t afford to be “average” in weight. I need to be slim in order to be a ballet dancer. That is why I really need to go on this diet before my audition.

weight loss cardiff answers:

You will not loose much in three days if you do it in a healthy way and you certainly wont loose muscle. As muscle weighs more you would look thinner at the same weight with muscle than without it.
It is important that you have fuel to dance. Snacking is a good thing if you snack on healthy foods. Small amounts of food throughout the day keeps your metabolism going.
Unless you are 16 and auditioning for a professional ballet company I wouldn’t worry too much about your weight. That is always something that can be worked on. However they will be looking to see if your bone and muscle structure is right for ballet along with your facility and musicality . You could be as thin as a stick and not have a ballet body. Of course they will be looking for clean technique as well.
If your thighs are becoming big from dance, then you are working incorrectly. It is often a sign of gripping your quads when doing things like developpe. Make sure you engage your turnout and core while using your hamstrings to push up from behind instead of lifting with the top of your thighs. Not only will that elongate your thigh muscles, you will get your leg higher as bulky muscle is less flexible. You are building bulky muscle from working incorrectly. Try some pilates. Pilates elongates the muscles, increases core strength and flexibility. Professional dancers cross train in pilates. Regarding diet, there is a book called Diet for Dancers which takes into account the nutritional needs of a dancer to maintain proper weight. Your Question About Easy Weight Loss

Michael asks…

What is the best weight loss supplement?

I was curious as to the best and fastest weight loss supplements. I know they may not be healthy, so I do not want to do anything too risky. I have Crohns disease and a lot of other GI problems so I am not healthy anyway. I did see something on Dr. Oz about garcinia cambogia but not sure how well it works. Any suggestions? If you plan on responding with eating healthy and excercise is the only healthy real way to lose weight, just don’t respond.

weight loss cardiff answers:

I actually saw the same thing on Dr. Oz and got me some. I havent seen any weight loss difference with the pills yet, but I have only taken them a week and have NOT been exercising. (I’m moving to an apartment with a gym next week so I will begin then!) The pills have actually helped me change my diet. They do what they say they are going to do for the mental side that I can tell so far. I’m hungry less and no longer snack on foods all day. I don’t snack on foods when I’m bored anymore. I actually am motivated to eat healthier too. I’m not sure if its from the pills, or myself being aware of what I’m eating from taking pills 30 min. Before I eat. When preparing meals, I choose healthier options now and I don’t eat as much as I used to. I’m always at a happy full, never hungry and never feel bloated. And its easier for me to pass the local fast food joints without stopping for an ice cream or fries. So I like what they help me with because I am healthier. I’ll find out if they help with weightloss soon!

Helen asks…

What is the best weight loss supplement and work out routine for a new mom?

I am almost 6 months after giving birth. I had a cesarian section and that was my first child. I breastfed up until a few weeks ago, and all I did was gain weight from it; not that I mind because giving my son the best start in life is well worth it. I gained a whopping 65 pounds while pregnant and I was 130, 5’4 before I was pregnant and I have not lost 1 pound since. So, I’m still 195. I eat extremely healthy, I do not eat meat, only fish. I do take anti-depressants to help out with my PP depression. What is the best weight loss pill to help me? I know that no pill is a magic pill without exercise and proper diet, but I have tried OxyElite Pro in the past pre pregnancy but I never really had to lose weight so it never did anything. What are good weight loss supplements and a good workout plan that is realistic with a having a baby. I’d love to lose atleast 50 pounds by summer. Thank you

weight loss cardiff answers:

Weight Loss supplements are just fraud methods. For many years they have lied to each of us. They actually love to see you fat so they can make more money. My advise for you is to plan your weight loss the natural way. It is quicker and best of all – safe for you. Find plans that offers realistic goals without starving.

weight loss cardiff answers:

The best weight loss supplement is water and as much sleep as you can squeeze in (I know, tall order). Lack of enough of both can lead to fat storage.

Eating “extremely healthy” is up for debate. Lots of people make that claim due to misunderstanding what healthy actually look slike. Look again to your protein balance to carbohydrates. Make sure you are eating a high-protein diet. Avoid things that say “low-fat”– they are NOT good for you, ever. That’s a common trap. Do consume healthy fats.

As an example, many vegetarians claim that their diets are wonderfully healthy just by right of all the veggies and such they eat. Bull. Do you know how many overweight and even obese vegetarians there are? I’m just saying, a diet needs to be balanced. If you’re not able to lose weight, it isn’t balanced in a way that works for your body. The general way to find the correct balance is to continue to increase protein/fat intake and decrease carbohydrate intake until you find a fat-burning level that works. Eating too few calories is more likely to lead to extra fat storage and a confused body rather than weight loss, too, so don’t restrict much. Only calorie-count if you suspect you aren’t eating enough or if you think you’re eating way too much.

When I first started losing weight 2.5 years ago, I was shocked to discover that the reason I had been steadily gaining was because I was eating too few calories per day and eating the wrong kinds at the wrong times. Balancing my diet properly toward higher-protein, eating MORE calories (yes, really!) daily and spreading them out throughout the day with the heaviest meals earlier on = steady weight loss.

Regarding exercise, I would recommend craigslisting for a jogging stroller (you can pick one up for $40-$50 instead of the over $300 they cost new) and downloading a Couch to 5K app to your phone. Running is the cheapest and yet most effective ways to lose weight–of course only when paired with a properly balanced diet. If you’re up to it, there are tons of wonderful workout DVDs these days. I love workout DVDs, but I’ll be honest that I didn’t much of them until after I’d joined a gym and experienced real classes. It’s hard to encourage yourself to really “do” the DVD correctly by yourself at home without stopping to take breaks too often. If you are capable of forcing yourself through whole DVDs– especially Jillian Michaels as a starter and then the Insanity types– you’ll see results. That’s something you can do at home with baby in the house.

I know with a new baby funds are probably tight, but at least spare a glance at your local gym options, too. When I got serious about losing weight, going to the gym made a big difference. Classes, access to trainers, being surrounded constantly by other highly-motivated people kicking their own butts really does change everything. And yes, I joined that gym about where you are now– when I was a 5’4″ 190-pounder. Yes, it’s very awkward the first couple of workouts, but then you get over it and feel right at home. 🙂 Many gyms tend to have special membership deals from time to time, even as crazy as “6 months for $20 a month” and stuff like that, and many gyms offer childcare on premises while you work out. So definitely consider joining a gym if you can find a good deal like that. It would be worth it.

It’s not AT ALL realistic to expect to lose 50 pounds by summer. It took me well over a year to lose that much weight with NO children and going to the gym 3 to 5 times a week. With a baby, and with hormonal challenges facing you, it’s absolutely not plausible to envision losing that much weight within just a few months. Be reasonable with your expectations and goals or else you’ll end up giving up when things don’t happen as fast as you want. Instead, expect small but steady weight loss week by week with occasional stalls along the way.
