What are some healthy ways for a teen on a tight schedule to lose weight easily?

Im 13 and 5″5 and 140 lbs which I’m not happy with I doubt it’s a healthy weight though for my age. I’m tall and some ppl say I’m skinny others say average. I’m in tumbling and I’m usually practicing that which I thought was good exercise but I’m not losing weight with it. Instead I’m building muscle Which makes me gain more. I’m hardly ever sick and I have a great immune system.

Can certain people lose weight more easily than others?

I was wondering if some people found it easier to lose weight. For example if two people who weigh the same and follow the same diet for ONE day, can one of them be more prone to losing weight? And not a very calorie restricted diet… I was thinking about this because yesterday I ate less than I normally would (around 1600 cals compared to the 2000 I would normally eat) and lost 0.5 kg, which surprised me because I didn’t even excercise as much as I normally would or am I fat to lose weight so easily… Could I have a fast metabolism?

Yep. People lose weight at all different rates. Men lose faster than women (in general) young people lose faster than old (again, in general) active people lose faster than sedentary people. Also, when you first introduce a new diet/fitness routine you lose very quickly (often referred to as the “flush” weight). And sometimes just a change.can effect your weight a lot. A few years ago I was doing great sticking to what I thought was a good diet. But I was not giving myself any healthy fats/oils. After months of minimal results, I went out to Burger King with a friend. Thinking that one spurlge wouldn’t kill me. Turns out my body needed SOME fat. I lost 7 lbs that week.

What is the best diet plan to follow for weight loss?

I need to lose 20 pounds by summer and I need a easy diet plan to follow. I work 2 jobs and don’t have a lot of time to prep food. I’d like a diet plan that uses minimal processed foods and doesn’t take a long time to prepare. Has anyone found a diet plan that works for them? I will be incorporating some exercise as well, but I have a knee injury that prevents me from doing anything with much impact.

Look like your are very busy, but why not just Power walk 45 mins daily, but you have to walk faster, like jogging to burn FAT. And you can buy some apple, orange , can of tuna (in water), instant oatmeal (120 cal per bag), 2 boxes of eggs (hard boil), zero yogurt etc. They dont need too much time to prepare, you can hard boil 12 eggs for 2 -3 days, oatmeal, you just need add hot water for it. Try to keep your cal within 1200-1400 cals, and power walk for 45 mins daily, you will lose 1 lb weekly or more. But you have to walk faster not shopping speed. 45 mins is about 5-6KM. Take care !

Diet Pills are expensive. But there are some safe pills also. I have used one, but when i stopped taking i started gaining weight faster!

Quick and Easy weight loss methods and or diets for younger people?

My younger brother, Age 12, is concerned about his weight. He weighs 120lbs and is only like 4’9. He says it makes him look really chubby in the cheeks and torso area.
He says he is picked on and called fat by a lot of kids in his middle school.
And of course, he is sad because being what the school physical stated “Obese” Makes him never have a girlfriend or something.
I think he gained weight from 85 to 120 because of stress with school issues such as grades, bullies, etc.
He wants to know some easy ways to lose 30-40 pounds? Or just any method, easy, hard, or longer, it doesn’t matter.
I’m trying to help him out a little because he’s really been down about his weight lately.

Remember people. my brother is only 12 YEARS OLD, so i dont think he can take pills or anything.
J.C: He hasnt experienced any hormonal changes yet. We went to the doctor and they said he hasnt gone through puberty yet, but that might be true, thanks.

Tell him to start making small “lifestyle” changes. For example, the first week let him eat whatever he want but eat in small portions.Then second week, instead of drinking sodas and beverages with added/artificial sugars, drink water and fat free milk. Then gradually start exercising 3x per wk for 30 mins. The next week. He has to remember that diets don’t work. Doing a strict diet will make people binge and crave more food, which will lead to more weight gain than before. It’s all about making a lifestyle change 🙂

I had my wisdom teeth pulled out a week ago and even though I feel better now, I am still on a soft food diet

Please include some variety

Please do not mention anything like soup, or mashed potatoes or oatmeal. Thats all I have been eating and I am very tired of those foods right now.

Also please don’t say anything like ice cream or jello because I am looking for something thats not sweet.

Ingredients
4 eggs
1 cup baking mix
2 cups milk
1 cup shredded cheese (Swiss or cheddar)
Blend eggs, baking mix, and milk in blender. Grease 10-inch pie pan or quiche pan and spread cheese over the bottom. Pour blended mix over cheese and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.

Creative alternatives: Layer 1 cup chopped cooked broccoli over cheese with 1 teaspoon Tabasco pepper sauce added to blender mix. Or, layer 1 cup finely diced ham and a chopped green onion over the cheese. Or, layer 6 slices crumbled bacon over the cheese.

What is the best way to lose weight quick?

I need to lose 10-15 lbs of fat in the next couple weeks.

I’m male
34 years old
5′ 11″
170 lbs
12% to 15% body fat is my guess.

I usually weigh about 155. But I gained 15 lbs from quitting smoking on January 1st.

I need to lose this weight. Does anyone have a workout plan or a diet plan? I like to lift weight, jump rope or jogging. I also like body weight exercises like push ups, pull ups, sit ups.

Sur eyou can, just make sure you don’t fry anything or use oils. Oil is worse than sweets. I would suggest adding a little fruit to the plan. Also, eat every three hours. 2oz protein and alternate either 1/2 cup fruit or 1-2 cups veggies. At supper time add some carb, like potatoes or rice. No pasta, corn, or carrots. Pasta is too concentrated, corn and carrots have too much sugar.
