Your Question About Easy Weight Loss

Lisa asks…

What are the best weight loss pills?

I need to lose about 60 pounds. I watch what I eat and workout but nothing seems to help. So what are the best weight loss pills for women?

weight loss cardiff answers:

I could sit here and say they don’t work like most people would. But I would be lying. They do work but can cause bad side effects or long term damage to your body.

I tried one and it ended me in the hospital. My throat started closing and my ears were swelling. I’m not allergic to anything either. My doctor told me to throw them out.

Then I tried Lipo 6 one a day for women. I was losing over a pound a day. But it had so much caffeine in it that it made me jittery and sick to my stomach. Even if I didn’t drink a lot I kept having to pee. I knew that had to be bad for my kidneys. I stopped taking it and started losing it naturally.

Also start walking. Remember 1 mile = 100 calories or more depending on how much you weigh. I started doing 2 miles a day then boosted it to 4 miles. I still have 15 pounds to lose but my legs are my best feature now. They are really toned.

Linda asks…

Does anyone have experience with weight loss pills?

I am 29, looking to lose 20 pounds by March. I have started Zumba and I am also watching what I eat. I want to also take some sort of weight loss pill that makes me feel hungry less and that doesn’t give me the jitters. Any suggestions? Experience?? I also don’t want to give my arm or my leg to buy the pills!

weight loss cardiff answers:

Don’t do weight loss pills. You can lose 20 pounds by March through sensible eating and exercise. If you use weight pills you may lose the weight, but you’ll gain it all back (with interest) once you stop taking the pills. See, weight loss pills artificially increase your metabolism, and once you stop taking them your metabolism slows down even more than when you started. As a result, you have to exercise more and eat less just to maintain your weight, and that metabolism slow-down is PERMANENT. You’re much better off making permanent changes to your eating and exercise habits — that way you’ll lose the weight and keep it off without any nasty side effects you get with diet pills like irritability, constipation, anxiety, sleeplessness, excessive sweating, jitters — do I really need to go on?

Ken asks…

Is it safe for breastfeeding mom to take weight loss pills?

Well, my BMI has escalated to 32 and I’m wondering if it’s dangerous to for a breastfeeding mom to take the weight loss pills. (breastfeeding exclusively until baby is 6months old).

I intend to start shedding some weight at least a month after I give birth (in August). What are the dangers?

weight loss cardiff answers:

It can be very dangerous! There is a lot of ingredients that can pass into your milk and not be safe for your little one.

One of the great things about breast feeding is that you burn about 500 calories per day making milk. Keep your diet healthy and start walking or a light exercise when you are ready. Since your body uses a lot of carbs to help make your milk you may get a sweet tooth. Try and keep fruits around to help with that. The weight will come off. I had my son 3 1/2 months ago. I weighed well over 200 lbs before giving birth. I now weigh 165. I plan to breast feed till he is 6 months then I can do whatever to lose the rest of the weight. If you want to start an exercise routine after having the baby and are worried about the lactic acid that can move into your milk, just be sure to nurse right before you exercise, watch how your baby reacts and adjust your exercise accordingly. Talk with your obgyn at your check up and they can help you go over what is best for you and your baby.

Carol asks…

Has anyone been prescribed Xenical weight loss pills & lost weight successfully?

Has anyone been prescribed Xenical weight loss pills & lost weight successfully?

If so, how long was it before you began to notice & did you have to stick to a strict diet plan?

weight loss cardiff answers:

To lose weight safely and effectively in the long-term you have to consume actually a moderate amount of calories. Food provides the fuel your body needs to function properly and that includes your metabolism. Fat blockers like Xenical may have many harmful side effects such as oily spotting, anal leakage, intestinal cramping, gas with discharge, nausea, diarrhea, oily discharge, fecal urgency, loose and oily stools, fecal incontinence, frequent bowel movements, and inability to control bowels.

If you think that this is only an inconvenience rather than a health threat, consider this – whenever fat absorption is blocked, there are some likely discomforts and risks. Mainly, the essential vitamins, A, D, E, and K are “fat soluble” vitamins. It means that they are carried, along with fat, into the bloodstream. If you are limiting fat absorption, you cannot help but restrict absorption of these essential micro nutrients. They play a major role in metabolism, immune function, and overall health.

In recent studies it is noted that people who use fat blockers only end up blocking 30% of the fat they take in. Controlled studies have also proven that the difference in weight loss for fat blocker users and non-users is miniscule –try 1-2 pounds. Carb Blockers – Ultra Carb, Carbo Lock, Carb Away, Ultimate Carb Phaser 1000, Carb Cutter, and Carb Eliminator – seem to have some of the same effects as fat blockers. Carb blockers claim to reduce between 30-45 grams of carbs from entering the body. Keep in mind that the FDA does not regulate the supplement industry therefore, the FDA has not studied many of the pills manufacturers peddle. Manufacturers do not know if carb blockers work long-term or if they may have long-term effects. Short-term effects include – gastrointestinal distress, heartburn, excessive gas and diarrhea. And there are no studies or testimonials to prove if these supplements keep the weight off in the long run.

Our own metabolism system play a vital part in controlling the amount of body fat burned in the process of providing energy to the body. Knowledge about our own metabolism function is the mother to all weight loss programs. With the knowledge you not only reduce your weight but able to maintain an ideal weight and living a healthy life. Best of all you can eat what you most enjoyed without gaining any weight. This website is dedicated to expose the risk of diet pills and highlight the criteria of a safe & effective weight loss program. Probably it could save your life.

Your Question About Easy Weight Loss

Steven asks…

How to kick start weight loss again?

I’ve been on a weight loss diet for five weeks now, 1200 calories per day (which is what myfitnesspal recommends for my goal / lifestyle etc). I’ve lost 14lbs so far, but now my weight loss seems to have stalled this week. Any tips to help kick start it again, and to keep motivation up? I’m an at home mum with a 3yr old and a 12yr old, so going to a gym is not really an option.
Guardian – I realise I won’t keep up the high weight loss I had initially (I lost 9lbs in the first 2 weeks) and I am genuinely aiming only for 1 or 2 lbs per week. I am not a new comer to weight loss, and I understand what is healthy and what is not. It is just when I lose nothing at all despite having stuck rigidly to my plan, that I feel a little disheartened. As long as I’m losing something every week I am happy and find it easy to stay motivated.

weight loss cardiff answers:

Your body may have adapted to your lower calorie intake and as a result your weight loss has stalled.

A way around this is to either diet more aggressively, by removing and lowering the amount of carbohydrates into your diet but this can be difficult as your body will need to adapt to ketosis.

Alternatively you could also attempt to eat at your maintaince calories again for 1-2 weeks to help restore your metabolism but this won’t cause you to loose weight. Your maintaince calories is body weight x 15, so if you’re 150lbs, that’s 2250 calories daily assuming you are moderatly active and not sitting around all day. Eat at that for 1-2 weeks, you may gain 1-2 lbs, but it should come off quickly once you continue your dieting. Do not use this time as an excuse to eat crap, stick to a healthy diet and try to make most of your calories come from protein as they’re more difficult to digest and therefore keep you fuller and burn off 25-30% of their calofic value during digestion.

Alteratively you could continue your weight loss plan of 1200 calories weekly, and just accept that you’ve stalled. Your weight will continue to gradually decrease. Remember it becomes harder to loose weight as you get leaner, because your previouse weight would have requires a higher maintaince. If you loose 15lbs, your basic metabolic rate drops by 225 calories (15×15) so your weight loss slows by about half a lb a week, because a defict of 500 results in 1lb a week weight loss – but now your defict is smaller because you weight less.

Genuinely I’d say you’re doing very well. Stick to 1200 calories a day and just accept that you’re not going to loose weight as quickly. You may have been loosing 2lbs a week on 1200 calories when you started, now you’ve lost 15lbs (give or take) you’re only going to loose 1.5lbs a week on the same diet. This may not even be noticable on the scales daily. Your weight fluctuares by as much as 5lbs daily due to water retentionhydration, food intake, glycogen storage, and bowel movementsdigestive contents.

For the most accurate reading, you should only weigh yourself once a week, in the same conditions, wearing the same (lack of) clothing

Ken asks…

What weight loss pills have you used and which do you recommend, if any?

I am a middle aged female and am looking to lose those stubborn extra pounds in my tummy area.

I have used some weight loss pills int he past with some success. I am looking to try one of these products on the market today but there are so many! Help me out with your experiences, if possible. Not looking for opinions, just facts. Thanks!

weight loss cardiff answers:

** You should try drinking 8 to 16 ounces of water before each meal, this will fill you up and you will eat less, resulting in less calories at every meal. Weight loss pills are not very safe, at least water is safe. I know it may be hard at first to drink water, but you can add more and more everyday until it becomes easier, ( you will get used to it. I lost 50 pounds in three years and kept them off , I also walk for 20 minutes at least 5 times a week. Patience is needed,, if you want quick, this is not it, better to lose slowly than too fast (not healthy for your body) Well good luck too you, hope this helps.

P.S. I also think that the younger you are the faster you will lose weight, 50 years and up will take longer

Mark asks…

What weight loss products would you recommend?

Hi, so I know I need to eat healthy and exercise which is the right way to do it, but I want to know what are the best products out there for weight loss.

I have heard of shakes like slim fast and also tablets like la slinky/curvy, but I would like to know what actually works and how much of an effect these products can have.

Thank you.

weight loss cardiff answers:

The best method of losing weight is by juicing. You drink freshly made fruit and vegetable juices and eat a couple of small portion low calorie meals per day. It is the only thing that worked for me. I am 33lbs lighter than I was 5 months ago as a result. I now help others to achieve their weight loss goals. Visit my site for more information on www.hitthenailontheheaddiet.com

I am looking to lose belly fat and considering Alli weight loss pills?

I am looking to lose belly fat and considering Alli weight loss pills, I do work out and try to eat healthy. Has anyone tried alli and how good does it work, is it worth spending the money.

weight loss cardiff answers:

I just bought the alli pills, I am limiting my calorie intake for each day to about 1200, I haven’t started the alli pills yet, but have already lost 9lbs in the past two weeks just with dieting alone. I am establishing a pretty low cal eating plan before I start. My friend has been doing the same and has been taking alli for the past week and has lost 5 lbs, she hasnt had any bad side effects. I think that you only get sick after you eat if you eat a meal high in fat. I got the startet kit that contained 90 pills, eating guides, journals, tips n tricks book etc. For only 25 dollars at target.
