Your Question About Easy Weight Loss

Donna asks…

Is eating a little less than 1200 calories a day bad for weight loss?

I’ve recently started eating a lot healthier and planning my meals different (breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, dinner) and I find myself feeling all around better. Food is the last thing on my mind and I have barely any cravings! Although my goal is around 1200 calories, I always find myself coming in just under around 1100 or so. I googled it and people were saying that’s really bad and puts your body in starvation mode, but my body doesn’t feel like it’s in starvation mode at all! And I really don’t want to be eating when I’m not hungry, but I definitely don’t want to slow down my metabolism and progress.

So is 1100 too little for my body and will overall be bad for my weight loss? Also, I’m 5’6 and 180lbs and I burn around 300 calories a day from exercise!

weight loss cardiff answers:

When you are only eating and/or drinking 1100 calories it can hurt you more than help you. You need to increase your calories to more like 1500 and keep up with burning the calories you are burning. Cardio can help greatly with the weight process, but make sure you are taking a multi vitamin to help with vital nutrients you may be missing.

Good luck with your journey

Charles asks…

What is the difference between weight loss and fat loss? Which of the two is recommended more than the other?

I was under the impression that fat loss leads to weight loss or vice versa but it seems both are different. Can anyone explain the difference??
and I want to get any advise/tips for fat/weight loss… thank you

weight loss cardiff answers:

Weight loss could be fat loss + muscle loss + water loss. This sets you up for rebound weight gain. The water loss will come back. The loss muscle will be replaced with fat when the weight comes back. Weight loss alone that is not ALL fat loss is not sustainable. Weight loss can be achieved via dieting but fat loss can only be achieved via a sensible diet and exercise. Fat loss is sustainable on the long term as you will most likely build on your muscle reserves while you lose fat. Fat loss is correct weight loss.

Know of any good weight loss memoirs that tell how the author lost weight?

I’ve read quite a few weight loss memoirs and none of them explain HOW they lost the weight. (Ex. What did they eat? what kind of program where they on?) None of them explain it. Thanks any suggestions.

How to stay Motivated/Dedicated When on a Weight Loss Journey?

Ive decided to start a weight loss journey, im planning on running 2 miles everyday, how do I keep doing this because I used to give up a lot when doing this previously.

weight loss cardiff answers:

Doing the right things and getting results will help you stay motivated.

The best way to lose weight is by losing body fat. For a great 12 day fat burning program go to the Fat X 101 website. The program consists of the Fat X Diet and specialized fat burning workouts.

Basically, you want to eat certain foods and workout in a specific way to speed up the process.

Good luck to you! Once you start seeing the results, it just motivates you to keep going and the weight loss / fat loss and fitness journey gets easier.

Sandy asks…

How to get rid of skin after weight loss?

I recently lost about ~100lb over the period of two or so years. I’ve been overweight my entire life, so I naturally have some extra-erm-skin lying around. Unfortunately, this almost defeats the purpose of my weight loss. Whenever I bend over, its like rolls of sagging skin-it’s disgusting.
Anyway, I know it’s not easy to get rid of, but anything helps at this point.

And since I know someone will ask, I lost this weight completely naturally through exercise and dieting-no surgery, drugs, etc. All natural.

Thanks 😉

weight loss cardiff answers:

Time can remove it only. I know but weight loss requires pateince. If you get discouraged now and start to gain weight again, then your NEVER going to lose it. Just hang in there and keep up with your exercises and eating habits nad it will go away slowly.

Mandy asks…

Poll: Is it easier to see weight loss in a bigger or a smaller person?

Say someone weighed 250 pounds and lost 10 pounds and someone who weighed 160 lost ten pounds. Who would be a more noticeable weight loss? Sorry if that’s stupid I just don’t really know how to explain it.

weight loss cardiff answers:

I’d say a bigger person, they lose weight a lot easier too.

Your Question About Easy Weight Loss

Carol asks…

I need an easy to stick to weight loss plan??

I have 3 very young children, and i need to lose weight. Since my kids take up most of my time I don’t have a lot of time to focus on the weight loss. However, I do to to lose some weight so i need a convenient and easy to stick to weight loss program. I know they are hard to come by so if anyone has any suggestions it would be great thank you!!

weight loss cardiff answers:

Im sorry to tell you that there is no quick way to lose weight. Its not easy. But there are simple tricks.

1. Regard all soda as 1.5 pounds in can, on average, that is what you will gain if you drink it.

2. WALK ALL THE TIME! By a pedometer at a drugstore. You should be taking at least 5000 steps a day.

3. Dont let your metabolism drop! Eat small healthy snacks a around (5) times a day instead of meals. A port ion of anything is about a deck of cards sized. The body is not designed to eat 3 meals. By grazing and eating slowly you body has more time to tell you your full takes abotu 20 minutes to respond. The moment youre hungry, your metabolism has dropped and you are more likely to eat more. Dont let youself get hungry. Dont starve yourself.

It will take awile, but its worth it.

I dont really want to go on a diet I was thinking more along the lines of working it off… and eating right

weight loss cardiff answers:

Good on you for coming to this decision. I hope I can help you with your situation. There are a couple of things you need to realize you before you embark on your weight loss journey.

Firstly I’m glad you don’t want to diet. In order to lose weight and keep it off you need to make a healthy lifestyle changes and stick to them. There are no two ways about it. Diets only lead to future weight gain.

We need muscle in order to burn fat. Muscle is a very active tissue, so burns fat even while resting. You need to have a certain amount of muscle in order to burn fat efficiently. Every pound of muscle you have will burn 50 extra calories per day.

If you burn more calories than you take in (achieved through a healthy eating plan), build up muscle through strength training and complete 30 minutes of solid cardio a day then weight loss is a certainty.

There is no magic secret to weight loss. It is all about hard work, commitment, goal setting and desire. If you want to lose weight you can and you will.

This following website gives you the tools you need to develop a healthy lifestyle and maintain it for a lifetime.

Good luck and all the best with your weight loss goals

Your Question About Easy Weight Loss

Daniel asks…

Does anyone have any links to blogs of people who have blogged their weight loss?

Specifically, I’m looking for blogs of -real- people (not fake blogs trying to sell a product) who have lost weight and documented it as a blog. An example would be someone who once weighed 250 and is now 180 and blogged specifically for their weight loss journey. With all the things on the internet I’m sure there have to have been some people who have done this.

Just wouldn’t know how to search for these people, so any links would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

weight loss cardiff answers:

Hmm dunno but maybe i will do that.. I just wouldnt want people I know to see it

Mary asks…

Is there any online blogs/diarys of weight loss or someone on a weight loss journey?

Are there any of these?

weight loss cardiff answers:

The best diet is no “diet” at all….if you purchase the book: The Weight Loss Cure by Kevin Trudeau (as seen on TV) you will TOTALLY understand WHY Americans are fat. He also has newsletters, updates and several other books. Huge #1 seller…What THEY don’t want you to know. You will be angry when you find out who “they” are and why “they” do what they do $$$ and who is behind it ALL. You will THANK ME!

Linda asks…

Weight watchers, weight loss blogs?

I’m looking for a good blog, of someone doing that basically tells their day by day what they are eating and how much weight they’re using. If they’re using weight watchers, that would be even more amazing. I just need motivation, I am using weight watchers, and i kind of got off track. So i would like ideas and motivation, please and thankss 🙂
