weight loss cardiff answers:

Firstly u should be rock hard to gain ur goals. And dont be demotivated if u dont get results. Just push on….!!!! So, first try to change little things like not eating unhealthy and try some exercises.
1.Go for a long running session or cycle early morning.
2.After this, eat breakfast like oats or cornflakes with some fruits
3.Avoid foods like pizzas n ol. And depend upon fruits, veggies .
4.When free at home, try doing skipping. Like skip 250 times a day, and gradually increase the skips.
Doing all this will surely make u thin. Just think where u wanna reach and go for it with ur all will….!!!! All the best.! Thnx. Yeeeeehaw….!!!! 🙂

Weight loss plans? Muscle building?

Hi, I am a 16 year old male and I do want to lose a little weight but my main concern is in my building muscle. I want to have a fit physique. I know it isn’t easy but I am willing to do anything for this, I really just want to be in better shape. So if anyone has any meal plans for me to eat. I am not a picky eater and I can eat the same thing over again. So what I really want is a meal plan and a exercise plan that works. Fast as possible. I really want this and I am so excited to do this! Thanks so much for anyone who helps me. Please use lots of detail maybe personal experience.

Betty asks…

has anyone tried or know someone who has tried the “weight watchers” weight loss plan?

I am planning on joining weight watchers next week with a friend. i was wondering if anyone had success or failure stories while on the plan. Is it easy to follow? How much weight did you lose and at what rate? Expensive? are the results long lasting? I’m also gonna excersise as well so i hope i get decent results at least by summer

weight loss cardiff answers:

I was on WW last year and it was wonderful. The meetings are about $10 per week. You don’t have to buy all their candy bars and diet books. I would recommend buying the starter pack though. It has dining out guides, points slider, exerciser slider and weekly tips. I lost 6 pounds my first week. I used the points system rather then core. It will work for you. And you will get results. Have faith in yourself. They also don’t weigh you in front of everyone and embarrass you. It’s well worth it. If you choose not to go to the meetings you can still do it at home. The meetings are more for support. You still buy your own food at the store. Tip: Lots of water, and Lean Cuisines. Plus you can still eat out, just count the points. Good luck to you.

Sandy asks…

How can I lose weight in a week and a half?

I am a 14 year old girl and I want to lose weight on my stomach and thighs, before school starts again in a week and a half. Also I would like a toned tummy, but I don’t have access to a gym and I would like to lose the weight at home and by the way I can’t do sit ups or press ups.

weight loss cardiff answers:

Just eat healthily an do exercise. It’l soon come off. These crash course diets are usually rubbish or dangerous but if you do it properly you’l give yourself a chance of sticking to it and for it to stay off. And people will soon notice which will spur you on. Good luck!

Helen asks…

I want to know how know how you should do it and how may seconds you should do it everyday to lose weight in a week. Please give me good information.Thank you very much !!!

weight loss cardiff answers:

You won’t lose weight in a week. The plank is just used as a form of resistance training. To lose weight you need to do some form of cardio.

Laura asks…

How fast can you lose weight in one week?

I workout one hour a day( run/elliptical ), drink 8-12 glasses of water, and eat around 1000-1200 calories daily. I eat good quality protien and eat 4-5 small meals daily. How fast can I expect to lose weight in one week? Is 3 to 5 pounds REALLY to much to lose in a wk?

weight loss cardiff answers:

You don’t give yr age or current weight.

If’ve you’ve just started working out your body will initially retain water for your muscles that you’re working out.

Is the quality protein lean?

The 4-5 small meals a day is a great idea, with lean protein.

A normal & safe weight loss would not be in excess of 2 lbs a week.

Also, anyone giving answers about acai – ignore them. The only thing you will lose is money.

Your Question About Easy Weight Loss

Richard asks…

What are some healthy ways for a teen on a tight schedule to lose weight easily?

Im 13 and 5″5 and 140 lbs which I’m not happy with I doubt it’s a healthy weight though for my age. I’m tall and some ppl say I’m skinny others say average. I’m in tumbling and I’m usually practicing that which I thought was good exercise but I’m not losing weight with it. Instead I’m building muscle Which makes me gain more. I’m hardly ever sick and I have a great immune system.

weight loss cardiff answers:

Make adjustments. A successful weight loss strategy based on reducing calorie intake and increasing activity can be adjusted to maintain your desired weight once you reach it. Unlike typical diets, this method is sustainable — it is a lifestyle change, not a binge-and-purge exercise. Slowly adjust your diet and exercise to include more weight training and calories, as much as is comfortable for you. If you do gain any weight back, you want that weight to be lean, toned muscle, not fat. In addition, weight training, no matter what your age, prevents muscle atrophy and can help stave off osteoporosis.
* Instead of thinking of it as losing a certain amount of pounds, think of it as being a certain weight. So if you are 145 pounds, and you would like to lose 10 pounds, think of it as being 135 pounds. This helps you think about it as a long-term goal and not just losing the weight to gain it back again.

Ruth asks…

Can certain people lose weight more easily than others?

I was wondering if some people found it easier to lose weight. For example if two people who weigh the same and follow the same diet for ONE day, can one of them be more prone to losing weight? And not a very calorie restricted diet… I was thinking about this because yesterday I ate less than I normally would (around 1600 cals compared to the 2000 I would normally eat) and lost 0.5 kg, which surprised me because I didn’t even excercise as much as I normally would or am I fat to lose weight so easily… Could I have a fast metabolism?

weight loss cardiff answers:

Yep. People lose weight at all different rates. Men lose faster than women (in general) young people lose faster than old (again, in general) active people lose faster than sedentary people. Also, when you first introduce a new diet/fitness routine you lose very quickly (often referred to as the “flush” weight). And sometimes just a change.can effect your weight a lot. A few years ago I was doing great sticking to what I thought was a good diet. But I was not giving myself any healthy fats/oils. After months of minimal results, I went out to Burger King with a friend. Thinking that one spurlge wouldn’t kill me. Turns out my body needed SOME fat. I lost 7 lbs that week.

Mandy asks…

How can I keep fit/lose weight easily if I am a teenager?

I am not overweight or obese, but I do want to keep fit or do some sort of exercise to lose a bit of weight. Also I a, terrified of what people think of me some find it very hard to exercise or do anything in public where people can see me.

weight loss cardiff answers:

Well, you need to do cardio exercises, like walking, running, swimming and so on, these exercises will tone your body very quickly, and you don’t need alot of money to do them, i mean, you could walk, and not take the car all the time, and go swimming with your friend, atleast twice a week? If you do that, and keep a healthy diet, you will tone up! But you also need to cut back on white bread, swap it for brown, get semi skinned milk, not full fat, and just cut down on carbs!!!

Mark asks…

how does a 15 year old teenager lose weight easily.?

Im not exactly over weight, or obese, but im not as skinny as id like to be. I have this beautiful, skinny, best friend with a hour glass figure, and shes always getting guys after her, but i dont. i dont feel pretty, or beautiful, or anything. Im so self conscious and I need to do something about it. Ive googled it before, and ive seen drink tons of water, and eat like 5 meals a day, well theres a problem with that. I dont have time for 5 meals a day, and I try drinking water but i really hate it. any help would be awesome. thank you so much.

weight loss cardiff answers:

Sorry to break it to you but there’s no east way out. Wanna hear a simple idea? Right. Go for a walk or a jog every day and dont eat as much. Simple but it works.

Carol asks…

How to lose weight easily?

I’m an obese teenager and nothing seems to help with my genes and the things my family eats, I’ve been trying for almost a year now, and I’m not sure if it’s because of my weak will or just plain lazyness. I want to lose weight for my appearance and the way I feel. I’m confident about everything with my body but my obesity just crosses all of it out and makes me look like an ugly mofo, and I could never get a girlfriend with the way I look right now, if I could I’d either have to pay her and beg for it. Also I always feel slow and it’s hard to breathe, and I’ve never fitted in in school because of my weight, the only benefit is the intimidation I’ve had on people, and that can only do so much when you’re in school.

I’m not looking for what to eat or how to exercise cause I got all of that. I’m just sitting here thinking what the hell is wrong with for me to keep failing and failing, because it’s literally the ONLY thing in my life I don’t like, and I really don’t like it.

weight loss cardiff answers:

Well, DO you have all of the information for exercise and what to eat? I was obese and thought I knew it, too, but I was totally wrong. It was all the stuff that other people claimed they did or saw in a magazine and that stuff was just incorrect as hell.

That being said, you clearly don’t have the motivation to lose weight. Oh, sure, you complain and whine that you’re miserable and fear that you’ll never find anyone to love you, but let’s face it, you’ve made a choice: you would rather be lazy and eat like crap than actually fix your problem. You see what your family eats and instead of saying, “No, today I will stop shoveling whatever they make down my gullet and make my own meal for a change” you instead just keep eating.

That’s your problem. Your laziness and lack of desire to change outweighs your angst about being overweight. That’s why other people are overweight, too. That’s also why people keep up bad habits, like smoking or chronic drinking or mismanaging stress or yelling at their family and friends: they know they need to change, but their desire to change doesn’t outweigh their desire to continue the behavior.
