I need to lose 5-8lbs in 3 days to fit into a dress for my sister’s wedding..I know that i should not eat any starches or drink coke, and workout for 30 minutes but is there any other tips yall can give me to lose it faster..thank-you sooooooo much for the help

Yeah you can lose water weight. Take Diuretics for the next few days. Drink lots of water (seems contradictory, i know… But water willl flush through your system and clean you out) Do lots of cardio with layers on. Wear like 3 sweatshirts and go running. Try to sweat A LOT. Also, dont eat any carbs or things that bloat you. Eat very tiny portions of meals with lots of protein and fiber. (like boneless skinless chicken breast with a tiny bit of gravy, or a piece of salmon)

When you consume lesser calories, your body will start using the fat storage to make up for the calorie deficit. Combining exercise with your reduced calories count is the healthiest way for you to lose weight.

I am going on holiday in July and i would like to have a flat stomach. And all my mates wear belly tops but i think my belly is too fat to show. Get some dumbbells so you can do upper body training, shoulder press, arm curls, chest, back, triceps. You could do leg raises, squats using dumbbells in each hand (if you can), sit-ups for stomach.

Hmm…. You didnt mention your height.. But anyway here is a way to lose weight;

– Exercise for about 1hour a day, you dont have to do it in one go, just bit by bit for example four 15minute exercise each day

– Cut out junk foods and crappy foods and replace them with healthier foods e.g. Fruit, vegetables, seeds etc

– Drink LOADSSSSSSSSSSSSSS of water. That will really help you because if you feel like grabbing a chocolate bar, you can grab the water and it will sometimes satisfy your hunger

– Don’t drink fizzy drinks 🙂

Be sure to eat 5 small meals a day. Make breakfast your biggest meal. EX: Breakfast, AM snack, Lunch, PM snack, Dinner. It will boost your immune system.

Eat lots of veggies. Lean meats (fish, turkey & chicken) Watch your portions. You can use meal replacements too for your breakfast, lunches and dinner. Snacks can be an apple, handful of almonds.
If you skip out on meals, your body wil go into starvation mode. Which means, it won’t burn anything from your fat cells for energy. It will just store more fat everytime you eat. Very important to stick with eating 5 meals a day.

Lots of cardio to lose fat. Be sure to lift weights too. If you can lose fat you can get saggy loose skin. Lifting weights can help prevent that. Start off by walking 30 minutes 3-5 times a weeks until you build up stamina.

“if you want to be lean, eat clean” (Basically God made foods, no processed stuff)

FYI: Drink lots of water. Whatever you weigh now divide it by 2. That’s how many ounces of water you should drink a day. Fat leaves your body in your urine.

Well it depends on what kind of diet you go on. I would say it’s most likely you will gain some of that weight back but if you work out and exercise you will definiely keep some of it off. And then more will slowly come off! =)

Looking for weight loss meal plans?

has anyone seen any meal plans or ideas that promote a healthy diet but also helps control weight. It would be even better if it helps loose weight. Nothing hard core, just a easy plan I can add some exercise to and feel and look better.
The meals don’t need to be fancy, but something like a weight watchers meal. I mainly need guidance on how to balence my meal types.

Oh and the last thing is I’m looking for something free. It’s the internet and I know everything is out there for free somewhere.

4 weeks ago I started a plan that entailed the following:

Breakfast: 2/3 Cup Nonfat Yogurt with berries

Snack (between breakfast and lunch): One Triangle Laughing Cow Light Cheese and an apple.

Lunch: Chicken Breast / With Salad and veggies

Snack: Triangle LCL Cheese and 1/3 Protein Bar

Dinner: Protein based main course (Fish, Pork, Steak, chicken breast) Veggies and salad.

I cut back on Caffeine, Beer etc and drink lots of water.

Lost 18 lbs to this point.

Good Weight loss Foods? Fast and Easy to make a must.?

I have decided to try to lose a few pounds but have no clue what I should be eating. I hate to and therefore never cook. I eat hot pockets for lunch and Mcdonald’s for dinner usually. So I need good fod ideas for my new weight loss plan. But it has to be fast easy stuff. Like Natural foods (besides all the fruits and veggies) and wrap ideas and what kind of wraps I should use. And if there are any processed foods that are less than terrible for me. And just for the record I am not a big chicken fan. Except for processes chicken slices which I am sure are not healthy :o) Any other tips you have are welcome. I really want to succeed this time. Excerise ideas would be welcome too as I plan to start one of those as well. I understand I need both healthy food and excersise to lose the weight and keep it off. That is why it is so important to me to make it as easy to fit into my lifestyle. So i’ll stick with it, so any loss will be for life.

I think that this is a battle you will face for a lifetime unless you decide to change your lifestyle. Hot pockets and McDonalds are not good food choices. You have to prepare your foods.

Simply eating fruits and veggies everyday require some thought. Go to http://www.mypyramid.gov and find out what you should be eating everyday. How you choose to prepare those foods is your choice- simple cooking techniques are easy to learn – and a salad with no-low cal dressing, a piece of fruit, and a container of yogurt, is as simple as anything to fix for lunch. Learning to eat fish is a lifeline to maintain weight loss.

Make sure you buy at least 3 servings EACH of fruit and vegetables for each day. No cooking involved!! I make sure I buy 21 pieces/servings of fruit every week.

There are different types of workouts you can try. I think jogging is a good one for beginners to practice. Swimming and aerobics are also good for losing excess weight. Start off easy, but gradually increase the difficulty of your workout. Some people like using treadmills because you can keep track of how fast you’re running – it’s easy to gradually increase the difficulty of your cardio if you can keep track of the workouts on your treadmill.
