specific areas, you should target them with exercises. If they are
your problem areas, they will be very difficult to tone. You will have
to work double on them. The best approach is this:

2. Run/jog to lower your overall body fat percentage.
3. Target your problem areas with exercises.
An excellent exercise, you can do it in front of your TV: sit on a
stool, and put your toes under something (piece of heavy furniture,
for example). In your hands hold a little dumbbell. Please, make sure
that it is not very heavy, start with one kilo, for example, or you
will damage your back and spine! Slowly move the upper part of your
body back, until it’s parallel with the ground. Stop for a second and
move it back to the sitting position. Repeat ten times. Every week add
to the number of repetitions. You will see the results in a week,
guaranteed! You will see or feel under the fat – if you have any – six
pack and muscles. Dumbbells do wonders. Much better than these
crunches – I came up to three hundreds and there was no results AT
ALL. With the dumbbells you will see it in a week.

•Stand with feet separately
•Bend to the fore from the waist.
•Get to your right with equal hands and hold your ankle with both hands.
•Thrust your upper body down towards the floor.
•Count to 25.
•Go back to start position and recur exercise on the left-hand side.

To workout the Front of your Thighs:
•Go down on your knees upright on the floor, with knees jointly.
•Lean towards the back and clasp your right ankle with your left hand.
•Never sit on your ankles – that’s wrong!
•Stay on this position for a count of 25.
•Go back to initial position and repeat workout on the left-hand side.

To workout Thighs & Butt:
•Stand with your legs apart, point your toes outwards, and arms on the outside of your thighs.

Some people have faster metabolisms than others. Here are some sites that offer a calorie calculator. Once you guesstimate how many your body requires you must subtract an amount depending on how fast you want to lose weight. To lose 1 pound in a week you must subtract around 500 calories from your required caloric needs.

How much weight can I realistically expect to lose in 8 weeks?

I just stepped on the scale this morning and was shocked at the number! Find daily calorie intake calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 400-600cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
Eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours – it optimizes your metabolism)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day (have lots of veggies to eat in between meals if you are still hungry)
8 glasses of water -carry bottle of water with you and when you feel hungry drink it – we often confuse hunger with thirst (our bodies confuse it)
have complex carbs for breakfast – they give you energy
have protein (lean meat, legumes etc) for dinner – repairs muscle
cardio is the only fat burning exercise and burns fat all over your body (running, jogging, swimming, spinning, elliptical etc) 4-6 times a week for average of 45min, light weight training a few times a week (more muscle=faster metabolism)
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, pasta etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, ice cream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
Of course you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)
