What is the fastest way to lose weight/fat in your arms?

I have always been able to lose weight fairly easily in my legs and stomach by exercising and a little weight lifting but my arms never lose inches, how can I do this?! help please!!

Take your weight in pounds and multiply it by 10. That is the MINIMUM amount of calories you should eat. Eat just above that amount to stimulate healthy, sustained weight loss. I recommend lean meat and green vegetables; they will help you stay full and avoid overeating.

However, without exercise, you will lose muscle just as easily as you lose fat, so your body composition will not improve. You will look “skinny-fat”. Do some heavy weightlifting if you want to keep your muscle mass.

Is it possible to lose 1lbs to 2lbs a week with exercise? Is it realistic?

I am being told the average person should lose only 2lbs a month with or without exercise and the weight stays off longer. I am also being told that it is impossible to lose 50lbs in 7 to 8months because of this rule. Is all this true??? I can understand losing only 1lb a week, but the 2lbs a month sounds ridiculous. I am trying to lose weight and I want to know if this is true or not. If it’s true why?

I have been losing two or more pounds a week without exercising, so what you have been told is very untrue and I am 30 years old so my metabolism isn’t as fast as it used to be. Also, the more you have to lose, the faster the weight will come off so you can easily lose 50 pounds in 7 or 8 months.

You could loose weight without exercise but its not really healthy. Too loose weight you need to burn more calories than you consume in a day. And it might be unhealthy to do this without exercise (because that means your not eating much, unless you have a very high metabolism). You could eat very healthy and loose weight but honestly you should start to workout/exercise a bit. Its good for you and your body and has more benefits than just weight loss alone. Even if its small things, just start working out & exercising. Even playing sports etc. Will do.

I am 135 lbs and I’m a 14 year old girl however I know very skinny girls that weight 110 – 100 lbs. can I lose weight without exercising or dieting but I already play soccer for two hours a day 2-5 times a week. Please help me I’m desperate and will do almost anything!

If you want to lose weight, you must do it the healthy way, the only way to go is to eat healthy and do some sort of exercise. I’m the same age as you and I weigh about 112 at the moment. My trick is I made a list of a bunch of junk foods that I enjoy and eat often and each month I choose one to not eat for the rest of the year. I’m not sure if that made sense but yeah. It’s challenging but it works. The main one is pop and I noticed a very big difference once I stopped drinking it.

You also NEED to exercise, at least a bit. If you aren’t big on going to the gym or going for intense runs, just go for a walk at a fast pace for an hour and do this every day. When you get home do some crunches and stretches.

Has anyone ever exersized while pregnant and lost weight?

I’m 15 weeks & 3 days pregnant. I’ve already gained about 15lbs I wouldn’t mind the weight gain but since I still have 6 months I know I’m going to gain a lot more. I didn’t want to gain more than 25 lbs because its going to be hard to lose it, plus I dnt want to be too heavy. Has anyone ever lost weight while pregnant? Or should I just deal with it and wait till after my baby’s born?

Docs recommend yu not to lose weight while pregnant. No diets or anything like that. Weight gaining will differ throughout ur pregnancy. & all the weight yu gained at least 95% of it wont be yu. Its the baby and all the other stuff from pregnancy. And yu’ll have a major weight loss drop after the baby is here. Especially if yu breastfeed.

300 extra calories/day is all you need to be sure baby is healthy. To put that into prospective, thats a yogurt with an apple, or 1 cup of granola. You will gain weight, but if your over weight to begin with than you should only gain a total of 15-20 lbs throughout the 9 months.

I am a 15 year old girl, 245 pounds, 6’0″ tall, and the only thing I have is a treadmill. I’ve been eating better, and we finally got a treadmill. Can I lose weight, just by running on the treadmill, and eating right? They are the only two things, I have/can do.

Eating healthy is a good way to start. Drinking more water and cutting down on sodas will also help. Though running on treadmill is good and burns calories, a more effective way would be doing weight exercises. Cardio workout such as running is important but weight exercises would cause you to burn more calories faster. Remember, balance is the key. Good luck, it’s hard work at first but it gets easier and better along the way.

Will I still lose weight by running after I eat?

I wanted to run on an empty stomach, which I did for the past 3 days and has always helped me lose weight effectively. I wasn’t nauseous but will I still lose weight cause I found that by running on an empty stomach you burn fat directly. And that bc I already ate I’ll gain muscle/only burn some of the food I ate which isn’t what I want. Thank you!

Running on an empty stomach doesn’t mean you burn “fat directly”
The food you eat isn’t immediately available to burn off because it has not been processed and converted yet. If what you say was true, you would essentially just be making food disappear from your stomach.

Running on an empty or full stomach will have no effect on what your body burns off. So it is best to have something light to allow your body to maximize your workout.
