cakes, you don’t eat junk food, and you don’t eat biscuits. But your
diet is still balanced. It costs nothing, and you do not have to
calculate points or to buy special meals or plans. For exercising,
start with walking, and then switch to running/jogging. Running is the
most efficient and calorie-burn exercise ever. If you are overweight a
lot, walk first or you may have health complications (heart attack,
disjointed bones and so on). Weight lifting is a good means to target
your problem areas for men and women. It’s not necessarily to become a
bodybuilder or even join a gym – a couple of dumbbells will help you
to target your problem areas (stomach, butt, legs, arms, chest).

I’m 13, and I want to lose weight. The last time I checked my weight was on Tuesday, and I weighed 128 pounds. In height, I’m around 5’0 – 5’1. I don’t do much exercise, except in gym. I know it’s a grave mistake I have made by not exercising that much, so I’m planning on exercising more. What kind of daily routine would you recommend me to do? Also, what type of exercises should I do? I don’t like push-ups, because I can barely do one without falling down. I’m not allowed to really run around and jump in the house, since it makes a lot of noise. Also, I can’t go outside because my parents prohibit it, since it’s still winter.

Without cardio you will not lose fat composition. That’s the most basic rule. You could get a jump rope and get a very good cardio burn if you have to stay inside. Weight training and calorie tracking are fine, but you won’t get that tone, cut look without lots of cardio. Lobby your parents, or get into a sport at school or gym. Best of luck!

I was thinking just drinking a lot of water and running a lot and not eating anything at all..I know it’s unhealthy and I know all the bad things that can happen, I don’t need to hear it. I just want to know, would this really help me lose weight fast? What are some other ways I can lose weight fast for Christmas?

What is an easy, great exercise to lose weight fast. I eat well balanced meals and don’t like chocolate much unless it’s with peanut butter. I don’t eat sweets but every now and then. I have two children, a 2 year old girl and a 3 month old girl, so I’m always busy and don’t have time to work out really. I just want one good exercise that will work. Thanks. =)

Any cardio, running is the best in my opinion, if you cant do that, then pick up some low weight dumbbells and do 300x reps, anything that makes you sweat 🙂

And remember, you cant spot burn fat, its a false myth.

I was 205 pounds about two years ago. It took me over a year to lose 25 lbs. But took me only 4 months to lose rest of the 45 lbs. I was getting married so had to do it fast but still did not want to do anything unhealthy because i DO want kids in the future and healthy ones at that. I joined a diet program in canada. Its been a year since i’ve been married and have been eating completely normal foods, have no time to exercise but only put on 5lbs. Since then due to my own negligence. How do you gain easily-lost weight quick for a Before weigh-in?

My work is having a big weight-loss challenge with a cash prize. I want my Before weigh-in to be as high as possible, with the weight as easily shed as possible, to help in losing the largest percent of weight. My plans include wearing clothes that are as heavy as possible, eating/drinking as much as possible the week before and especially the day of, and…well, I guess that’s it.

Any more suggestions on how to get my weight up for one day?

I would not eat as much as possible the week before because that weight will be just as hard to lose as any. I recommend drinking a LOT of water, it is pretty heavy, and if you increase your sodium intake it will make you retain the water. It *will* make you bloated – just a warning. That way right after your weigh in you can take a water pill to rid yourself of the bloating.
Then, on the day of the weigh in drink, drink, drink that water! One gallon of water weighs over 8 lbs! One gallon is 128 ounces, so if you can manage to drink 64oz prior to the weigh in that is over 4 lbs!!
(64 oz is the same as drinking close to 4 16.9oz water bottles.)

If there a safe limit is how many pounds a person would lose max. in a week‘s time? Or no limit in losing weight.

But it seems to me that staying healthy and getting fit requires so much effort as one can gain back the weight so easily. And it takes lots of effort for many to maintain a good night’s sleep because one can stay awake in the middle of the night, and it’s hard to fall back asleep.
