How can I lose weight without exercising?

I suffered a back injury. It is continuous and anytime I try to exercise my SI joint and L4/L5 are effected and I end up on my back again. It is a vicious cycle and I want to lose weight and tone up. Anybody have any recommendations on what I can do to lose weight without exercising?

To lose weight (fat) you must consume fewer calories a day than you burn…so your primary method would be to drop your calories (do not go below 1200 per day). Weight loss will be slower for you, but it can happen…if you can swim or do any form of water aerobics or activity that wouldn’t stress your back, that might be an option to help you burn extra calories without aggravating your injury…also possibly a recumbent bike (stationary) as it would have you in a position to help your back relax (slightly reclined)…

If you have gone or are going through physical therapy (which would be common for an injury) what kinds of exercises do you do for that? Surely your PT trainer encourages you to do your exercises at home as well…

I’m 72. I used to exercise and lost alot of weight. However, after I got fat again, I can’t walk or exercise because my feet hurt and it feels like fire. I’m a diabetic. I want to lose weight and need to, still.

Is there anything available that will help me lose weight without exercising or walking too much on my feet?

The doctor said that nothing could be done to solve the feet’s problem. Sometimes it hurt, sometime it doesn’t, but I can’t keep walking all the time or exercising.

I really want to lose weight and i want to find a diet where i can lose weight fast but not starve my self or take any medications.. does anyone know any diets like that?

Basically low-carbs. I started a new program one week ago and I’m down 10 pounds – could be mostly water weight but I’ll take anything and it’s working great and I’m not hungry like I thought I would be.
I eliminated starches such as pasta, bread, potatoes and I’m only eating meats (fish/chicken), eggs, fruits, veggies and nuts. Eliminate diet sodas and sugars! This is all in Phase 1 of my new diet and then in Phase 2 you’re allowed one or two meals per week that allow you to eat whatever you want such as chocolate cake or pizza… You should consult a physician before you do anything since everyone is different but eliminating trigger foods for me has been successful. I’ve done other programs that made you track what you ate and calculate calories – they worked but it wasn’t a long-term solution. So far I’m eating better and I haven’t been hungry all week. Drink water and you can have unsweetened iced tea or coffee – try to limit dairy as well.

So far I’m loving it and I’m hopeful that this will work well for me!

I was wanting to go on a fasting diet but i don’t no how. I thought it might be a good way to lose weight if i only eat like one time a day. I want to lose weight fast because i think my weight is making me depressed. I lost 20 pounds over the summer but now that its fall/winter again i’m afraid to gain it all back and i would still like to lose more. I’m not skinny at all. I just want to drop 5-10 pounds. What’s a good diet/exercise plan?

I’m 5’9”, around 150. I know that sounds slim/average, but my big butt/hips(39″)/thighs lower half aren’t all that flattering to my 34B top half. It’s not easy for me to gain weight, mostly because of my relatively fast metabolism and also my eating habits on pretty good, although I have fallen short of that because of the holidays. -__- But a lot of the time I think it may because I won’t eat because I’m afraid of gaining weight. I just want to stay fit and healthy!

But yeah, I just want to get rid of my pesky big butt, hips and thighs. I know in order for that to happen I’ll have to lose some weight in the rest of my body but that’s okay. I have a bike(I’m about to go ride it) and I do little 20 minute exercises at least once a week. I’m trying to get back into running as well.

So any kind of plans and motivational tricks would be great! Thank you. And happy weight loss/better health to all of you guys!

I am 13, my height is 5ft. 4 3/4, and weigh 151 pounds. Is it still baby fat or am I just a fat PIG? How can I get rid of the terrible stretch marks and the fat from hanging over the jeans? I get critizied at school and can’t get a boyfriend cause of my body. I just want to be a normal sized kid with friends that like me not use me and a boyfriend. What is the easiest diet or weight loss program I can do(that doesn’t involve weights) that will get me a great body and a normal weight. If you have anything that will help please tell me. I’ve tried the suck and tuck the belly trick and it doesn’t work. I don’t really like to go outside or play at that. Could that be one of the problems? Or would it be that I’ve eaten a double cheeseburger and fries for a week? PLEASE HELP THE FAT KID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I’m going on 38 next month but beleive me, i know how you feel, i have been heavy my whole life, i never felt liked, endured cruel jokes and felt i would never have a boyfriend. Girls and women are expected to look like everyone else on TV, its always the thin models that get the main roles in movies and chubby women are shoved to the backburner. We need to realize and believe that looks dont mean ANYTHING AT ALL, if guys are only going to like you because you have a nice body then that tells me what kind of person they really are, a JERK. You have so much to offer in this world, dont let anyone tell you otherwise! You are a special and unique person. Please just be yourself and stop comparing yourself to others, it takes all shapes and sizes in our world. Please enjoy yourself while you can and put a smile on your face, thats what will trully draw the right ones to you. For me i choose swimming to keep myself as healthy as possible, its easier on your body and burns more calories than any exercise you do out of water ( i was told this by a swim instructer ) and best of all its FUN. i was reading online when someone said an easy way to loose weight is by doing this:
Drink ICE water all day. At least 12 eight ounce servings, and make sure it’s ice cold, because your body burns more calories trying to warm itself back up due to the temperature of the water..
Chew lots of gum, and brush your teeth four times a day, you are less likely to ruin a “fresh mouth” with food..and if you constantly clean your teeth..food tastes gross after the toothpaste anyway. Gum will trick your body into thinking you are eating, so it wont growl as much. And if the hunger pains get out of control, that’s when you have another 8 ounces of ice water.
Doing this for three months can result in a 30-50 pound weight loss.
Also, it doesn’t hurt to do some LIGHT jogging. Make sure it’s nothing too extreme though, because your muscles wont be able to take it after going so long with no food.

is this a good way to loose a diet.. along with eating low fat?? and exercising a bit??

1. Increase metabolism (e.g., caffiene, ephedra). Burning more calories than you take in makes you lose weight.

2. Decrease appetite (e.g., fenfluramine). If you don’t take in as many calories as you burn, you lose weight.

3. Block absorption (e.g., chitosan). If you can’t absorb fat, you will have trouble taking in more calories than you burn.

4. Lose water (e.g., Lasix, diuretics). If you lose water, you lose weight, up to a point. Lose too much water and you get sick.

Losing weight happens when you use more energy to stay alive than you take in through your diet. Weight loss pills that cause this effect by any of the above means will work on anyone.

First off…… They work for me and im a man. I have tried all sorts of different pills to bulk up and then get my body ripped for the summers and i have had fairly good success by using creatine and whey protein at the same time as using capsiplex. I do work out every 3 days in the gym for between 30 minutes and 1 1/2 hours. I also go boxing twice a week. So if you do some exercise then these pills should work.

You cannot buy capsiplex in the high street nor my local gyms you can only get them online.

Ebay and amazon sell them but generally you do not get them any cheaper than the official site. Sometimes you can get a bottle or two on ebay that someone has bought and they don’t want them anymore but this is quite rare.

I get mine from the official site in bulk and use a discount code to save 20% off the official site prices. By doing this i manage to get them for £17 per bottle which is far cheaper than £30 without buying in bulk or by using the discount code.

Haven’t tried the plus version yet.
