Your Question About Easy Weight Loss

William asks…

How do I lose weight in one week?

Okay so I just tried on my dress for homecoming and it barely fits. It’s really tight in my stomach area:( how can I lose weight in one week so I an fit in the dress? Nice answers only pleas!(:

weight loss cardiff answers:

A pound is 3,500 calories. Cut out 500 calories a day from food or workout 500 calories a day and lose a pound this week. I don’t even think you should do anything at all because a pound won’t make a difference. Enjoy your homecoming and just forget about the little details 🙂

George asks…

Is it normal to not lose weight in the first week of exercising? If so, when will I start seeing results?

Hi. I’ve started exercising on April 25th and will be starting my second week tomorrow afternoon. Is it normal to not be losing weight in the first week of exercise? I’ve cut off junk food and I’m exercising 6 days a week. Any tips on being more efficient would be appreciated.

So, when will I begin to see a difference in my weight?

weight loss cardiff answers:

Don’t rush. Its a proccess. It takes more than one week to start losing weight. Sounds like your off to a good start!

Robert asks…

How to lose weight healthily but quickly?

I need to lose weight next week for a bet. I have no idea how. Any one help? It would be epic if someone has a diet plan… but i dont want to be stuck with soup all week!
Are packet soups any good?

I really dont want to watch Air Buds world pup…..

weight loss cardiff answers:

You can’t lose weight healthily and quickly. Losing weight is unfortunately a slow process.
Losing 0.5 – 1.5kg a week is considered healthy.

I suggest cutting out chips, sodas, lollies and any deep fried foods.
I’ll give you a list of foods that I’d suggest:
Breakfast: banana smoothie, yoghurt and fruit, bran cereal with no fat milk, toast with vegemite.
Lunch: Salad and tuna/chicken wrap, stir fry with rice, fruit salad, low fat crackers with dip and vegetables.
Dinner: Stir fry with rice or noodles, salads, anything with lots of vegies.
Snacks: fruit, vegetables with dip, banana smoothie, biscuits with low fat cheese.

You’ll also need to do at least 30 minutes of exercise a day.

Good luck.

Your Question About Easy Weight Loss

James asks…

Its very easy. You have to burn more calories than you take in. If you dont excercise, then you cant eat a lot. If you get a lot of excercise then you can eat more. Scratch Mcdonalds off your eat list.

Mandy asks…

How to continue losing weight during the school year (for the RIGHT reasons)… :/?

Over the summer I gained a lot of momentum with my weight loss.
I felt like I wanted to lose weight for me…so I exercised everyday. Ate healthy.
Now school has started…and I feel like I’m exercising and eating moderately (losing weight) just because I want to impress people at school. This happens EVERY year. Over the summer I feel like I do everything for myself…but then as soon as school starts and I see all these attractive guys and girls, I feel like I’m doing it for others.
And when I try to lose weight for the wrong reasons- I EASILY give up.
I have self respect…so when I’m on the treadmill, sweating my butt off, dying…and feel like I’m doing it for stupid thickheaded teenagers at school…I can’t help but get off.

How do I continue losing weight for me and how do I block out thoughts about school when I’m exercising?

Plus what are some good reasons to exercise– besides the fact that it helps you lose weight?

weight loss cardiff answers:

Being healthy is such a giant accomplishment, it’s very easy to eat rubbish and sit on your butt all day. It takes commitment to really try to stay fit and it changes your life. Being healthy is associated with being pleased with the way you look which leads to being happy for as long as your healthy. Not everyone is suited to commit to being healthy and the fact that you are capable of such should be something to be proud of!

I’m a senior in highschool and I know how frustrating it is to constantly compare yourself to others. You just have to remind yourself that you’re not being healthy just for a short while, it’s a lifestyle! And 90% of the people in your school won’t be a part of your life after highschool so there’s no need to pay attention to them.

weight loss cardiff answers:

Easy. Find a new source of motivation and resolve.

Do it for yourself !!! This is the most important reason.

Do it to feel better about your figure
do it for your health
do it for the increased energy
and yes, do it so people will have a better opinion of you (this doesn’t have to be the only reason ! Just a bonus 😉 )

but most important be careful not to overwork yourself. If you do the stress will pile up and you will just give up and quit if you burn yourself out. Trust me it happened to me once and i gained like 80 lbs. It was terrible haha i really let myself go. Remember: slow and steady wins the race.

Your Question About Easy Weight Loss

Betty asks…

do weight loss pills only work on people who are overweight?

please no lectures on health- i’m not considering using weight loss pills, i’ve just been wondering about this.
i thought i said this already : I’m NOT trying to lose weight. I was just curious about how these pills work.

weight loss cardiff answers:

Weight loss pill is a generic term. You can lose weight with medication in several ways.

1. Increase metabolism (e.g., caffiene, ephedra). Burning more calories than you take in makes you lose weight.

2. Decrease appetite (e.g., fenfluramine). If you don’t take in as many calories as you burn, you lose weight.

3. Block absorption (e.g., chitosan). If you can’t absorb fat, you will have trouble taking in more calories than you burn.

4. Lose water (e.g., Lasix, diuretics). If you lose water, you lose weight, up to a point. Lose too much water and you get sick.

Losing weight happens when you use more energy to stay alive than you take in through your diet. Weight loss pills that cause this effect by any of the above means will work on anyone.

Susan asks…

Where is the best and cheapest place to get Capsiplex weight loss pills?

The sun is shining today for the first time in ages, i have noticed a few people walking around in t shirts for the first time in like 6 months!

Anyway i want to tone up my body so i can walk around and attract some girls. My best friend who is a girl has tried these capsiplex weight loss pills and she said they are the only thing that worked for her.

My question is do they work for men as well and where can i buy capsiplex for the cheapest price.

weight loss cardiff answers:

First off…… They work for me and im a man. I have tried all sorts of different pills to bulk up and then get my body ripped for the summers and i have had fairly good success by using creatine and whey protein at the same time as using capsiplex. I do work out every 3 days in the gym for between 30 minutes and 1 1/2 hours. I also go boxing twice a week. So if you do some exercise then these pills should work.

You cannot buy capsiplex in the high street nor my local gyms you can only get them online.

Ebay and amazon sell them but generally you do not get them any cheaper than the official site. Sometimes you can get a bottle or two on ebay that someone has bought and they don’t want them anymore but this is quite rare.

I get mine from the official site in bulk and use a discount code to save 20% off the official site prices. By doing this i manage to get them for £17 per bottle which is far cheaper than £30 without buying in bulk or by using the discount code.

Haven’t tried the plus version yet.

The best place that i found for coupons and discounts that actually work (most discount sites don’t actually have a working code) for capsiplex is the capsiplex discount code website which is in the resources link. They update their codes regularly.

My sparring partner introduced me to these supplements.

Robert asks…

Weight loss pills do they actually work?

I have Jillian Michael’s Fat Burner weight loss pills.
I was just wondering, if anyone from experience could tell me whether or not they work.

Your Question About Easy Weight Loss

Mary asks…

What’s the best way to lose weight and keep it off?

I lose weight easily, but I also gain it pretty quickly. I’m 5’2 and 165 lbs. People tell me I look more like I am 150 lbs, but still I would prefer to be a healthier weight. I would like to tone my stomach more and increase physical activity -with the exception of running, so alternative cardio suggestions would be great!

weight loss cardiff answers:

It sounds to me like you may diet to lose the weight, and then once you drop weight you go right back to your normal eating patterns. Or maybe you are more physically active certain times of the year… (i apologize if my assumptions are incorrect, that is just they way it happens most of the time, regardless, the tips below should help in any situation)

The key to losing weight and keeping it off is through CONSISTENT diet and exercise. Its more of a lifestyle change then an actual “diet plan”. When you eat, think whole foods. In other words, eat foods prepared as closely to they would be in their natural state as possible. Foods like 100% whole wheat bread, whole wheat pasta, raw or frozen vegetables instead of canned, fresh fruits, lean proteins, etc. The extra fiber in the vegetables, fruits and whole grains will help keep your appetite in check, and it will also supply your body with long lasting, slow release energy so you wont get a spike in blood sugar after eating. Another good thing to do, is take the amount of calories you would normally eat in a day, and split that up over 5-6 meals. This again will help keep you from over eating, will keep your energy levels up and your metabolism firing. For a solid ratio, shoot for 50% carbs, 30% healthy fats (nuts, olives, olive oil, fatty fish, avacado), 20% lean protein.

For cardio alternatives, i would recommend a full-body circuit training program. That will help you attain total body fitness and is a little bit more exciting then jogging for most people (i prefer running but that is just me). Also you can cross train with some road or mountain biking, or swimming.

Your full body circuit should be something like this

2-4 Leg Exercises (squats, lunges, calf raises, leg ext, leg curls)
2-3 Chest exercises (bench press, incline press, dumb bell flys, dumb bell bench press, push ups, dips)
2-3 tricep (tricep ext, kickbacks, cable pushdowns)
2-3 bicep (standing barbell curls, preacher curls, dumb bell curls, concentration curls, hammer curls)
3-4 ab exercises (you can google these and come up with probably about 100 different ones, just go slow and in control, squeeze at the top to get the best results)

Shoot for a weight that you can do 10-12 reps for upper body, 15-30 reps for abs (no weight), 12-15 for legs. Start out with the lower end of the ranges i have listed, and work up to more lifts. Do the circuit 2-3 times through depending on your fitness level. Start with a 20-30 second rest between sets, as your fitness level improves, try less to no rest.

Good luck

Linda asks…

What are some good foods to eat to lose weight?

They say that if you want to lose weight quickly, you should burn off more than you consume. What kinds of food don’t have that many calories in them? ( Besides a salad. I just never could really like salads. )
I really like eating fruits like apples and bananas for snacks. What about for lunch and dinner?

weight loss cardiff answers:

Hi Danca,

It’s great you’re already starting to form healthy habits with your fruits 🙂 Losing weight is not as hard as people think, in fact, it can be pretty easy. Just cutting out SODA and sugary drinks from your diet COMPLETELY is just one awesome way to lose weight fast easy and healthily. (I lost 10 pounds alone with that one change) That along with the other tips I’m going to share below and you will be on your way to easily losing the weight and keeping it off.

As cliche as it may sound you gotta eat your veggies. They are amazingly good for you, also raw nuts (almonds are best) fruits, and 100% whole grain breads instead of white flours (white flour is very bad for you, read up on it if you get the chance!) Try and stay away from fried foods and fast food as much as possible, and other empty calories and foods that provide you no nutrients, like ice cream/candy/cake etc. Common sense goes a long way with what foods to eat and how to be healthy, so use it 🙂

Building healthy eating habits and keeping the weight off in the long term is what you should really strive for. Also, make sure you don’t count calories, it can drive you CRAZY! Just eat GOOD calories, and when your satisfied, stop eating. Try to eat more meals a day and portion them smaller, it really is proven to speed up your metabolism and burn fat way faster. If you mix this in with the other things I’ve shared, you will be on your way to easily losing weight and keeping it off.

Just be persistent, set goals, make little changes and stick with them. You will get to where you want to be. You really have to want it, I did, and I’m at my goal weight now. Please check out my blog, I think you will enjoy the information and my weight loss story. The link is below and best of luck hon.

Ken asks…

How do you lose weight easily and quickly?

I’ve got my prom at the end of June this year and I really want to lose a bit of weight so i look better in my dress, what is the best diet that is easy to do and helps you lose weight quite quickly?

Hope you can help 😀

weight loss cardiff answers:

There is no such thing as losing weight quickly. But you can lose weight by counting calories and walking everyday. Its hard to say how many calories you should eat and how much you should walk because you didnt give us any information about your body. I started working out 4 weeks ago and walked 20 minutes everyday and ate no more then 2000 calories for three weeks and then no more th en 1800 calories on my fourth week. It is now my 5th week and I’ve lost 20 pounds. But I’m extremely over weight so it kind of melts right off me. So I’m going to suggest eating no more then 1500 calories a day and walking 20 minutes every single day and you should lose weight. No need for a killer 1-2 hour work out if your not used to it because you will burn yourself out. If you already work out say 30 minutes a day, then bump it up to 35. I was just giving a rough estimate for you. Good luck!! Have fun at your prom 😀
