Short question about exercise and weight loss, easy to answer :)?

I’m 60kg, I want to be 50kg. I’m planning to do 1 and a half hours every day of exercise which consists cardio, leg/butt workout, arm exercises and some stretching/yoga. I’ll have a healthy diet eating 5-6 small meals every day, mainly made up of fruit, veggies and fish. How long will this diet/exercise plan take me to lose the 10kg I need to lose, and is there anything I should change or any advice you have? Thanks for any help 🙂

It’s hard to say because it gets hard the more lean you get. Weight loss is not even and uniform. I have always lost weight in spurts. Your plan sounds fantastic and even though it’s very difficult, I think you need to be prepared to take 2 months with it. You will probably get an immediate loss, and then plateau. If you stay with it, your body will recognize that you’re not starving yourself and eventually give up the fat.

I’m a 21-year-old male and 5’6. I used to weigh 254 and I’m now at 154, and this excessive skin is really bothering me. What do you advise I do to get rid of the remaining belly fat and excessive skin? What workouts to you recommend, any specific workouts? I don’t want to take the easy way out by getting any surgery, but if it is the only solution for me to lose my belly fat and excessive skin then I would understand. What are the risks in getting this kind of surgery?

I can not believe that every other person is telling you surgery is the only option. Surgery is NOT the only option.

Skin is a living organ, it is not dead tissue that will just sit their forever until you get a surgeon to chop it off. As long as you keep the weight off your skin will shrink to fit your new body over time. It might take a while, maybe a year or two, but luckily you are relatively young, and skin becomes less reactive to weight loss as you age.

You can quicken the process by building some muscle mass so your skin doesn’t have to do quite as much shrinking to fit you, but that is only if you have the desire to be more muscular by going on a tough resistance training regimen.

Plenty of people lose weight gradually and their skin shrinks in unison. Others lose weight faster than their skin can shrink, but surgery certainly isn’t the only option. If anything, surgery is a last resort for people who do not have the patience to wait for their skin to shrink. If you were worrying to the extent that it is causing you to be constantly stressed out for weeks on end then surgery might be a fair option, otherwise you are absolutely right; no need to be taking the easy option.

Over half tested last year contained ingredients that weren’t listed on the label. Or none or improper amounts of the listed ingredients. They are not regulated.

You can eat a healthy diet and lose weight.
You can eat a healthy diet and exercise and lose more weight.
You can exercise and eat a poor diet and not lose and even gain weight.
A good healthy diet high in fiber, lean meats, eggs, complex carbohydrates, whole grains, antioxidant foods, healthy beverages and low in added sugar and salt help people lose weight, lower cholesterol, increase energy, improve brain function, lower blood pressure, reduce cancer risk and have a more positive lifestyle!

This includes going to bed as close to the same time every night including weekends. Most of us stay up late Friday and Saturday night and it throws us off.
You must combine a healthy diet with exercise to multiply the benefit. Whether an hour a day in the weight room or just a 30 minute brisk walk every day, the added benefit of a regular exercise program really do increase and accelerate healthy weight loss.

And if you really want to lose wight and fat then you should remember and do this:

EVERYDAY RUN (WALK) + L-Carnitine + TAKE LESS CALORIES + LIPO-6 = 100% SUCCESS

1) if you dint have then buy scales!!! That is the first thing to do!!

2) run every 2 days for at least ~30 minutes or/and walk every day at least 5 km!

They advise that you need to be 18, but any age restriction will be printed on the container. Some stores make their own rules.

At 13 you really need a doctor and/or a dietitian’s help to lose weight.
Unless you are obese it’s better to aim at not gaining more weight because as you grow taller your BMI will level out.

Get an indoor bike, if you ride casual, you will not put to much pressure on your knees – if you can! Diet should be protein based with vegetables. Get some dumbbells so you can do upper body training, shoulder press, arm curls, chest, back, triceps. You could do leg raises, squats using dumbbells in each hand (if you can), sit-ups for stomach.

You have to crawl before you can walk. Which means — you need to build up your endurance. And keep in mind, a calorie burned is a calorie burned…

Regardless if you run or walk to get there..

So if you aren’t able to run for extended periods of time — then start by walking. And after a while, throw on some ankle weights. The weight will add resistance & help in the development of lean muscle.

((the more lean muscle you have = the more fat you burn when you aren’t exercising))

your main objective is to just GET MOVING!!!
