David asks…
Recently bought a treadmill, any weight loss plans I could follow?
Anyone know of an effective weight loss workout routine that I could follow on the treadmill?
Perhaps, for example, a day by day plan of what to do on the treadmill, what settings, how long for, etc. Just a regime that worked for you, or someone you know? Whatever really.
I literally want someone to just tell me what to do, so I can commit to the routine and lose weight.
Thank you in advance… (:

Losing weight is a simple equation: if you burn more calories than you eat, the weight will come off. Start off by estimating how many calories you burn each day using the daily calorie needs calculator http://calorieneedscalculator.com This will give you an idea of how many calories to eat. Healthy weight loss is 1-2 pounds per week. To lose 1 pound per week you need to create a calorie deficit (burn more than you eat) of 500 calories per day. To lose 2 pounds a week, you have to double the deficit to 1000 calories per day. You can achieve this by eating less, exercising more or a combination of both.

Nancy asks…
I’m sick, will this effect my weight loss plans?
It’s one day of laying in bed and eating.
I’m trying to limit though.
Hopefully I’ll be better by tomorrow.
Will it do a lot of damage to my weight loss plans/diet?
I’ve just been eating veggie burgers and soy yogurt and water.
I’m about to eat some chocolate popcorn though…

Usually if you have a cold and just eat soup you’ll lose weight.
But if you’re eating lots of things with sugar and just laying in bed you can gain weight.
