Your Question About Easy Weight Loss

David asks…

Recently bought a treadmill, any weight loss plans I could follow?

Anyone know of an effective weight loss workout routine that I could follow on the treadmill?

Perhaps, for example, a day by day plan of what to do on the treadmill, what settings, how long for, etc. Just a regime that worked for you, or someone you know? Whatever really.

I literally want someone to just tell me what to do, so I can commit to the routine and lose weight.

Thank you in advance… (:
Alas! I don’t have an iPhone…

Weight loss?

I recently found a great website for weight loss plans, but then ifound out i would have to pay money that i dont have at the moment. Is there any good weightloss planing things that are free?

weight loss cardiff answers:

Losing weight is a simple equation: if you burn more calories than you eat, the weight will come off. Start off by estimating how many calories you burn each day using the daily calorie needs calculator This will give you an idea of how many calories to eat. Healthy weight loss is 1-2 pounds per week. To lose 1 pound per week you need to create a calorie deficit (burn more than you eat) of 500 calories per day. To lose 2 pounds a week, you have to double the deficit to 1000 calories per day. You can achieve this by eating less, exercising more or a combination of both.

Nancy asks…

I’m sick, will this effect my weight loss plans?

It’s one day of laying in bed and eating.
I’m trying to limit though.
Hopefully I’ll be better by tomorrow.
Will it do a lot of damage to my weight loss plans/diet?
I’ve just been eating veggie burgers and soy yogurt and water.
I’m about to eat some chocolate popcorn though…

weight loss cardiff answers:

Usually if you have a cold and just eat soup you’ll lose weight.
But if you’re eating lots of things with sugar and just laying in bed you can gain weight.

Your Question About Easy Weight Loss

Paul asks…

How can i lose weight effectively?

To start off, my mom is very strict.
She tells me I’m not fat, but I know I am.
So when I went on a vegetarian diet, she went crazy.
She made me eat meat, even though I didn’t want to.
Anyway, I really want to lose weight off of my belly and thighs.
How can I do that?
Running, sit-ups?
Oh, and I heard that if you sweat, you’ll lose weight.
How does that work?
Thank you so much in advance!

weight loss cardiff answers:

Go to the biggest loser site, and the trainers give you HEAPS of tips, just type ” The Biggest Loser”, on the enternet, and click on the first website…on the top, it says videos, and on the column ” Browse”…it says ” Trainer Tips”…it has tips from Shannon and Michelle, on how you can loose weight, easily, and fast!!!…I need to loose weight too, and I’vee lost 3kg, in 6 weeks…doing as they said!!
Good Luck, and i hope I helped 🙂
P.S.Just because your on a diet, it doesn’t mean you can’t eat properly…never skip meals, don’t eat fats and oils, and all the fatty stuff…drink plenty of water, and yes, sweating does help you loose weight. My sister goes to the gym, and they say that she has to wear a jumper or hoodie or something, even in summer, so try that while running with your Ipod or phone or something…because listening to music also helps..:)

Ruth asks…

What supplements can i use to lose weight and bulk up before spring break and summer?

Id really like to lose like 40lbs and bulk up before spring break and summer. Im doing 1.5 hours of low intensity cardio but havent started lifting yet. What kind of over the counter supplements could i buy at GNC that will help me to bulk up super quick and increase my fat loss? Ive been researching but everything is confusing…only legal suggestions please cause i dont want to try “juice”.

weight loss cardiff answers:

This may not be the answer you want, but supplements will make no more than 5% difference to your results. You’re much better off focusing on getting the basics of your lifting and FOOD right than relying on supps.

This opinion comes both from science and from long years of wasting money on supps whilst hoping they work for me.

Besides the occasional protein supplement where I can’t get food, or am using a 10g portion of it to inhibit catabolism whilst training fasted (which is something you should definitely try!) I only use creatine regularly. Over 15 years of research shows this to the only supp that consistently makes people faster, stronger and last longer. And if you can train harder, you can get more results.

But all of this is still dependant on your diet being right. Diet accounts for over 70% of your physique results, therefore it’s where you should focus 70% of your efforts to get it right.

Both I and many of my clients use Intermittent Fasting with great success when losing weight and looking more muscular. Here’s something I wrote about it on my blog:

ou could imagine that your day is split into two; a cutting (fat loss) phase, and an anabolic phase. This is in contrast to a ‘normal’ eating day where you are never fat burning as effectively as when fasting, although post training you are properly anabolic.

Splitting your day in this way has tremendous benefits, but the biggest one is the Holy Grail of dieters and bodybuilders the world over; you (almost) guarantee losing fat whilst maintaining, or even gaining, muscle. I say almost because it’s still dependant on you doing the right things with your diet.

You can read a fuller explanation of why and how Intermittent Fasting continues to work even once you get into single digit body fat figures at Martin’s site (here for stubborn fat removal, and here for leptin problem avoidance). But one of the great things about Intermittent Fasting for fat loss/weight loss is that you just don’t seem to get the same metabolic slowdown problems as you would normally do with a strict caloric restriction diet (jointly due to the effects of maintaining muscle mass and having a significant number of calories in one meal every day).

This means that with Intermittent Fasting you can continue to eat for muscle gain and fat loss even whilst you get lower and lower body fat. And you just can’t do that anything like as easily as with a normal calorie restriction + cardio setup.

To figure out how to create your diet you could start over at Lyle MacDonalds site:
There’s more information there than you’ll need, and there’s a great forum also.

Hope this helps, please feel free to ask more questions you might have.

David asks…

How do i lose weight easily?

Ive got no money to go to gyms or buy healthy food, so are there any other ways of ensuring i lose weight or any tips on how to help?

weight loss cardiff answers:

Losing 10 lbs a month is a good and safe target. Any faster weight loss is likely to be temporary only and in most cases you regain it all.

Running, jogging, cycling, swimming, dancing, push ups, sit ups, squats, brisk walking and power walking all help for weight loss but dieting helps more.

One of the healthiest weight loss diets is the DASH diet.

The healthy DASH diet can help you lose weight safely and effectively, lower your cholesterol and lower your blood pressure.

It is based on an eating plan rich in fruits and vegetables, and low-fat or non-fat dairy, with whole grains. It is a high fiber, low to moderate fat diet, and is rich in potassium, calcium, and magnesium.

You can see further details in a web search for “dash diet” + “lose weight”.

How to lose weight rapidly without dieting?

I am 5 ft 10in tall, 15 years old, and weigh 280 pounds. I have been trying to lose weight, but everytime I diet or even just try to eat healthier, I always end up binging. In fact, I binge almost daily, which has led to my rapid weight gain. I want to know if their is an easy way for me to stop binging and lose weight fast without dieting.

I’m looking for methods, techniques, or tips and tricks that you have used yourself to lose weight.

Thanks in advance,

Sorry to disappoint you but it is easier to lose weight if you watch your diet and count calories. You can exercise everyday but you still need to eat less to lose weight.

Laura asks…

How do you lose weight fast?

Id like to know a smart and healthy way to lose weight fast.
Besides just dieting and exercising, does anyone know any tricks?

weight loss cardiff answers:

First: Fast weight loss composes of a multi-faceted technique that consists mindset, exercise, and in other cases, diet supplements. Begin by learning a diet food plan that can easily be accustomed with. Incorporate an exercise plan that allows even at least fifteen minutes a day like brisk walking, running, swimming, and dancing.

Second: Set realistic approaches. The ability to focus and have proper mindset enables someone on a diet to quickly lose those extra pounds. With discipline and proper mind set, a dieter will never be discouraged and lose focus.

Third: Listen as the body speaks. Each and everyone’s body metabolism reacts differently to different fast weight loss programs and plans. Try substituting one program for another to compensate the body’s reaction. Exercise program must be suitable to one’s body, as others are not able to exercise as rigorously as others can. If walking is all that can be done, then walk for this is proven the best exercise. Muscles burn more calories than fats so it’s also best to put on a little muscle and looking good too.

Fourth: Eat more fibers for it makes a person full sooner and stays in the tummy longer, slowing down the rate of digestion. A single serving of whole grain bread moves fat through the digestive system faster. Grains turn into blood sugar that spikes the body’s insulin level. Thus, making the body more energized and ready to tell the body when it should stop burning fats or start storing.

Fifth: Keep away from fried foods especially deep-fried as this contains a great amount of fat. Although fish and chicken appear leaner than beef, this white meat can contain more fat than when a beef is fried. It is recommended for those on strict diet to opt for grilled food as this does not have or contain less amount of fat after the food is cooked.

Sixth: Takes lots of fluid. Drinking at least six to eight glasses of water a day keeps the body refreshed. Since weight loss depends on how the body eliminates body wastes, the body must stay hydrated.

All in all, discipline and consistency is still the best practice and the key to a rapid weight loss success. Light dieting, workout, and right amount of supplementation applied in a regular way everyday will result in faster weight loss than having a massive action only to be followed a return to old habits as this would only lead to gaining more weight than when the weight loss plan has started.

Your Question About Easy Weight Loss

Chris asks…

Help with losing weight….?

I am 13 years old, about 5’5, and about 180 lbs. I want to lose between 40 and 50 lbs. by the beginning of September, with about 20 pounds gone by June. How can I accomplish these goals in a safe way? (Incidentally, I had very unhealthy eating habits as a younger kid, and I have found that I lose weight fairly easily.) Please be specific about any diets, exercises, etc. Thanks in advance. =)

weight loss cardiff answers:

OK, you’r only 13 so no drastic diets. Try this – eat as much green vegatables/ salads/ stirfry’s as you want, & any time you want. Drink 6 glasses of water a day, eggs, chicken, fish are all good. Not much red meat, ok, if lean twice a week.
Stay away from anything manufactured ie takeaway food, breads, baked foods, tinned foods etc, porridge for breakfast
Fruit juice is full of sugar, whole fruit is ok before lunch
try to exercise ie: a 30-45 min walk in the morning every day

Linda asks…

Desperately wants to lose weight, tried everything, any suggestions?

Hey guys. (:

I’ve never been the skinniest girl if you know what I mean. When I hit the age of ten, I weighed over 150 pounds, and I was barely 5’ft tall. I didn’t diet, but I was an outside kid. There was rarely a day you saw me in the house. My family tried to pass it off as the whole “big boned” thing, and “it’s just baby fat”. And for the longest time, I believed them. Through early teenage years, I struggled with my weight even more. I started to realize that my so called “baby fat” wasn’t shedding like it had been promised. When I was 15 I weighed over 170, and I was 5ft exactly. Needless to say, I was a fatass. Lol. Now I’m 17. I’ve been dieting and exercising for over two months now, when I weighted myself in the store and saw that I was 169 and still only 5ft tall. I was very disappointed to be over the medium limit, closer to 200 pounds then 100. I’m pretty sure if I’m 5ft tall, I should only weigh, AT MAX, 120. Right? Can anyone tell me? I limited myself to eating Raisin Bran for breakfast, maybe an egg or two at lunch. No butter with it at all. Just tomatoes and onions mixed in to give it flavor. At dinner, I maybe eat a salad and munch on some of the meat that the rest of my family prepared for themselves, as long as it’s low fat beef or some sort turky substance, with little to no grease. I haven’t allowed myself ANY carbs whatsoever. No pasta, no bread, no potatoes, no rice. I don’t eat mayonnaise or any kind of condiment, I drink NOTHING but water. I weighed myself this past weekend and I’m down to 149. But I’m still not happy at all. I want to get rid of this pooch that I tuck inside my pants when I sit down. I don’t want ANY fat rolls when I’m sitting. Any good exercises someone can recommend to me, that wont absolutely kill me? I do a lot of jogging, squats, and I work out on this machine that targets your core and back muscles. Or maybe I need to limit my diet more, or change it? What am I doing wrong? Why can’t I shed weight as easily as everyone else? And aren’t you supposed to feel more energetic after working out, and proud of yourself? I feel exactly the opposite. When I finish working out, I feel disgusting. Not because I’m covered in sweat. I just think about how much my stomach pooch jiggles and how hard I’m working out and how I’m not seeing any results and I want to grab it and saw it off with a knife. When I finish working out, I feel worthless. I feel like I’m the ugliest thing in the world. By this time I’m STARVING and I go an look in the fridge to search for something to take the hunger pain away, and then this nagging voice in the back of my head goes “You don’t deserve to eat. Starve. Starve. You’re fat. You don’t deserve it. Starve.” And a lot of times, I end up depriving myself of a meal though could be vital. I might be wrong, but I’m pretty sure when you finish working out, you’re supposed to be proud, pat yourself on the back, eat and apple, feel energetic and all that. I think something is wrong with me. Please, any responses are welcome. Tell me what I SHOULD weigh, for my age and height. Tell me if I’m dieting wrong. Tell me what exercises I could do. Tell me if it’s normal for me to feel depressed after working out. Please. Thank you for reading!

You can always eat negative calorie foods for weight loss and below is a list of negative calorie foods that will boost your metabolism.

Negative Calorie Fruits:

Negative Calorie Vegetables:
cabbage (green)
Chile peppers (hot)
garden cress
green beans

These foods don’t actually have negative calories but when you eat these foods raw or slightly cooked your body burns more calories digesting and processing them than what is in the food itself.

For a healthy weight loss add some of these foods to your diet each day. Most of them are full of healthy nutrients.

My girlfriend needs to lose weight…?

now don’t get me wrong, i LOVE my girlfriend, and in fact we’re getting married next year, but she needs to lose weight for health reasons.

we’re both 140kilo (308 pounds), but i’m 6’4 with alot of muscle and she’s at least a foot shorter than me.

myself and her family are worried about her health, she has really bad knees and gets sick easily, but whenever i try to talk to her about her weight she goes right on the defensive and I can’t say anything that she won’t take the wrong way and end up crying over

she’s a wonderful girl and i love her so much, but i don’t want her to end up dying at 50 or even earlier, and we really want kids but i don’t think it’s healthy for her to get pregnant yet.

i’m at a loss of what to do!!!
