weight loss cardiff answers:

If you want to lose weight some weeks. You can try Lose weight a week plan first!

Day 1:

Eat the soup accompanied with watermelon and melon for your main food all day long. Consume a glass of unsweetened cranberry juice before you go to bed.

Day 2:

Stop eating fruit at all! Consume your soup and you are allowed to eat green salad. Make sure the salad contain no dressings, peas and corns.

For dinner you can consume roasted potato or baked potato with butter (don’t ever think to fry it)

Day 3:

Consume the soup, salad and fruit but no potato today.

Day 4:

Eat the soup accompanied with a glass of skimmed milk. Consume 8 pieces of banana to provide your body enough energy. Your body now need carbohydrate and protein also calcium to lessen body need for sugar.

Day 5

Eat your soup again. Today you should consume salad and salmon fish. Make sure the salmon fish don’t exceed 10 ounces.

Day 6

You should consume maximum 10 ounces of meat along with your soup. You need the protein here.

Last Day

Consume 4 table spoons of rice with vegetables. Drink fresh watermelon or melon juice without sugar and eat your soup also today.

Mark asks…

How can I lose weight for an MMA tournament in 8 weeks?

I have just under eight weeks until an amateur MMA competition I’m entering. I plan on entering in the 90kg/198lbs division and currently I’m 105kg/231lbs. I’m 6’1″ and according to the US military body fat percentage calculator I have 21% body fat. I’ve lost weight before over a longer period of time simply by restricting my calories to 1500 a day, and lost around 2lbs a week, but that just won’t be enough here. If I cut calories to 1000 that would probably speed the process up but will I lose much muscle then? I train for about 90 minutes 4-5 times a week.

I guess what I’m looking for is advice on whether or not it is even feasible, and if it is, what is the best approach, taking into account I obviously want to keep muscle and solely lose fat. I could also enter the 95kg/209.4lbs division if I had to but I really would prefer to go lower!

Thanks!

weight loss cardiff answers:

Realistically you probably can’t cut that much weight in 8 weeks. But you might be able to with enough dedication.

You need to have a net loss of 3.500 calories to lose one pound. Luckily at 21% body fat, you have fat to burn. A male can easily get down under 12% body fat before they see any real attrition to muscle mass.

Your past weight loss shows you have an activity level to burn 2,500 calories per day. To lose 33 pound, you need to net lose 14,500 calories per week or about 2.100 calories per day. So you need to have a diet of 400 per day. Which is darn hard to achieve.

If you are heart-set on meeting a 198 weight threshold, you’ll need to dramatically increase your calories burned per day. 2.500 is very low for a 6’1″ athlete. If you add in two hours a day of vigorous exercise, you’ll burn an additional 500 calories. But you’ll also add some muscle mass. You probably want to add 3 hours of intense exercise each day – distance running, swimming, aerobics, etc… This would allow you to work with a 1.500 calorie diet and still lose just over 4 pounds per week.

How to lose weight in 3 weeks?

I’m 5’7 cm tall and I weight 74kg , I want to lose weight in just about 3 weeks or more. I tried to be vegetarian , I eat vegetables & fruits everyday . But I don’t seems that I get skinner cause , It was 2 weeks ago. I should be losing abit of weight :I ? Please tell me some of ways to be skinny ;D .
I want to lose at least 30kg ;I
By the way , can you lose weight by dancing for 30 minutes ?

weight loss cardiff answers:

When you are losing weight, you should exercise and diet together.
If you exercise without dieting, you will get bigger appetite, which
will lead to increase of weight, or muscle grow
underneath the fat layer, and make you bulkier. If you diet without
exercising, you will become flabby and will have excess skin. For
diet, go wheat free. No pasta, pizza, bread and so on. And no food
after 7 p.m. People achieve marvellous results with it. Depending on
your initial weight, you can drop upwards from 20 pounds a month. If
you don’t eat wheat then you don’t eat all those sticky, fatty goey
cakes, you don’t eat junk food, and you don’t eat biscuits. But your
diet is still balanced. It costs nothing, and you do not have to
calculate points or to buy special meals or plans. For exercising,
start with walking, and then switch to running/jogging. Running is the
most efficient and calorie-burn exercise ever. If you are overweight a
lot, walk first or you may have health complications (heart attack,
disjointed bones and so on). Weight lifting is a good means to target
your problem areas for men and women. It’s not necessarily to become a
bodybuilder or even join a gym – a couple of dumbbells will help you
to target your problem areas (stomach, butt, legs, arms, chest).

weight loss cardiff answers:

If you want to lose weight really quickly the best option is a juice fast diet, where you basically replace all your meals with juices. Quite extreme, and definitely not something you want to do long term, but for a quick fix solution it does work.

How do I lose 2 pounds of weight each week without alot of excercise?

I need to lose weight for a special date in 2 weeks. I need serious help.

weight loss cardiff answers:

Count calories. Its simple if you eat pre-packaged food. Stick to 1200 a day. Eat things like healthy choice frozen meals and prepacked snacks and it should be a sinch. I do it all the time and works really quick. I lost 30 pounds in 12 weeks after having my last child.

John asks…

How do I lose at least 5 pounds in 2 weeks?

Im 13 and i weight 200 pounds. I want and need to lose weight before school starts which is in 2 weeks and a day. I want to have a figure when I go back. Help!

weight loss cardiff answers:

I can definitely help. First and foremost, you have to have a clean diet. Without a proper diet, you will have a hard time losing weight. Diet makes up roughly 90% of the battle. Don’t be that person at the gym who busts their tail off yet allows the hard work to go down the drain b/c they eat like crap.

That being said, what foods to eat?

Stick to a more lean protein/green veggie diet. Lean protein sources include chicken breast, turkey breast, fish, egg whites, lean beef such as sirloin, cottage cheese etc. The majority of your carbs should come from leafy greens such as asparagus, broccoli, kale, salad etc. Green veggies are very low in carb, full of fiber and are slower digesting.

Stay away from refined carbs. Refined carbs are your white breads, white pasta etc. Eat whole grains but in moderation such as brown rice. Even though brown rice is superior to white rice, you still need to monitor your carbs so have these grains more on workout days for energy and adjust accordingly.

Workout wise, a combination of free weights and cardio 3-4 times a week is optimal. Weight lifting helps burn more calories at rest. Your Question About Easy Weight Loss

Daniel asks…

How to lose weight in 3 weeks?

I have school and I need to lose weight before school starts back

weight loss cardiff answers:

Losing weight is frustrating. It’s tough to find a diet that actually works when most of the companies behind them don’t want you to lose weight at all. Because if you actually lose weight and keep it off, they lose a customer. But now there are weight loss solutions that are available that will help you to lose weight permanently without having to give up your favorite foods, do excessive exercise, or damage your body by denying it the fats, calories, carbohydrates and nutrition you need to function. You’ll lose weight fast the right way and keep the weight off for good. You’ll look and feel your best with a slim and firm waist line. You’ll turn heads, and get the attention you never imagined.

Mary asks…

The Risks of Losing Weight? Please Help?

Hey guys, recently I’ve chosen to lose weight, I want to lose 30-40 lbs so I can be around 120 lbs. But if I do lose weight, will my strength be gone? Strength as in being able to pick heavy stuff up and in rare cases hit people; self defense. I don’t want to lose weight if that means losing strength as well and becoming weak. Will I lose strength if I lose weight?

Lisa asks…

How do I lose weight fast?

I want to lose about forty pounds. Is there anyway I can lose the weight fast?

weight loss cardiff answers:

Losing weight fast is not a good idea. Weight lost that way generally piles back on afterwards. There is no magic about losing weight: eat sensibly (check out the many websites on ‘healthy eating plans’); exercise more, by, for example, cycling, swimming, brisk walking. Another tip is to drink water throughout the day. This is extremely helpful for keeping your system well and for making you feel fuller, especially if you drink water before main meals. Don’t call your eating regime a ‘diet’, this can put you at a psychological disadvantage. I think you will be surprised at how the weight will come off, if you stick to your plan. You would probably lose a good bit of weight for the first couple of weeks and then expect it come off at about the rate of 2lbs per week, which is the recommended regular weight loss.

Your Question About Easy Weight Loss

how to lose weight !!!!!!?

i want to lose weight but its freezing cold out side and everyone is inside there is no way 2 lose weight inside.I tried to buy Zumba fitness dvds but everyone is inside and its embarrassing if they see me dancing and i don’t now what to eat or don’t eat i need help is there a milk shake or somethin for teenagers

weight loss cardiff answers:

Quick tips to lose weight can be incredibly powerful, as they do not take much effort, but they do get results. We make weight loss much harder than it actually is. I am going to give you three quick tips that you can easily incorporate into your daily life that can help you start to lose weight without any real effort.

Tip 1 – Drink Water

This seems too easy, but there are lots of studies that back this up. If you drink 2 cups of water before you eat a meal, you will lose weight. Some scientists say that it is because your body thinks that you are already full so you eat less. Other scientists think that the water somehow helps your body to digest the food more efficiently. Regardless, it works, and it is easy!

Tip 2 – Brush Your Teeth After a Meal

The simple act of brushing your teeth after a meal will make a marker that meal time is over. It is funny how the mind works, but simple markers like this can be very powerful. And besides, who wants to eat anything with that terrible toothpaste aftertaste?

Tip 3 – Snack Away

Snacking between meals is good – if you snack on the right things. Much of our diet damage is done by overeating at meals, so if you are not as hungry going in, you make better choices. Now, if you choose a candy bar or ice cream as a snack, that doesn’t help. However, if you pick a fruit or a vegetable, the fiber helps you to feel full and no damage is done to your diet.

Good luck ,my friend

Maria asks…

Easy ways to lose weight for boy teens?

I am 14 and need help losing some weight. I need easy tips tricks and what not. Can someone help me?

weight loss cardiff answers:

Hi

The Best Way to Lose Weight in Teen Males

Teenage boys can lose weight easily because of high levels of testosterone and growth hormone, which are potent fat burners. However, eating the wrong food at the wrong time, particularly sugars at night, can force the body to store fat. By taking a simple metabolic approach to diet and exercise, teenage boys can lose weight fast and keep it off, decreasing their chances of developing heart disease, diabetes and obesity.

—Eat More Meals

Eating several smaller meals throughout the day is a good way to lose weight, according to The Abs Diet. The idea is to eat three main meals–slightly smaller than your regular breakfast, lunch and dinner–along with three small snacks. Frequent meals decrease insulin production, increase metabolic rate, suppress hunger and help to build muscle, according to The Fat Burning Bible.

—Eat the Right Foods

No matter how good the meal plan, eating the wrong foods in improper proportions can lead to fat gain. Teenagers are notorious for snacking on food with empty calories such as chips, cookies and ice cream. When you are young, you do not store fat as easily and you should take advantage of that but not at the risk of developing obesity and chronic diseases. Many teenage boys can lose weight merely by switching to healthier alternatives. You can lose weight by eating lean proteins such as turkey, chicken and fish, low-glycemic carbohydrates such as oatmeal, fresh fruit and unrefined whole-grains, and healthy fats such as olive oil, avocado and nuts and seeds, according to The Abs Diet.

—Increase Protein

Carbohydrates and proteins both have four calories per gram, but they affect the body differently. Protein’s “thermic effect” means that it takes more energy for the body to digest it. Eating more protein, in conjunction with an exercise program, can help you lose weight fast. Fitness author Jeff Anderson recommends consuming about one gram of protein per pound of your body weight if you work out regularly.

—Decrease Carbohydrates

Carbohydrates make up the body’s primary source of fuel, but they also readily store as body fat. You do not need to do a low-carb diet to lose weight fast. Taking in moderate amounts of carbohydrates is better because carbohydrates provide essential vitamins and nutrients. “Xtreme Lean” authors Jonathan Lawson and Steve Holman recommend 150 grams of carbohydrates per day. A good rule is to start your weight loss program by consuming one gram of carbs per pound of your body weight per day. You can try that for two weeks. If you are not losing one to two pounds per week, you can reduce that count by 50 grams of carbs per day. After two more weeks, reevaluate your progress and make adjustments.

Carol asks…

Can you help a teenager lose weight?

Ok I have been trying to lose weight for about a year now and I have only lost a little. I am fairly active playing tennis and golf also soccer but I have not reached my goal weight. I don’t eat that often and I have been told that doesn’t help. I need a step by step guide on my diet. I mean like meal by meal drawn out for me. My only preferences are no beef or pork due to religious reason (hindu). I am also 15. Also any excersices I can do around the house that will boost weight loss will all be nice. Thanks for reading and I appreciate all the help I can get. Thanks

weight loss cardiff answers:

The key to losing weight is simply a pen.
Every day for a week write down every single thing you eat along with the calories, salt, sugar etc then at the end of the day add up how much of each thing you had then check what the daily guidelines are for you and anything that’s over cut down. Once you get the amount of fat, sugar, salt, calories etc to the right amount you can begin exercising with your now healthy body and your body will react to the physical changes more easily. I recommend working out doing a variety of exercises for an hour then having a rest until yo feel you can do more. One of my favourite exercises around the house is vacuuming you clean your house while getting in shape. Another fun one is seeing how many times you can run up and down the stairs. For example if you wanted to get an item from upstairs instead f going up and getting it go up and down 10 times then get it. You could cook yourself something really healthy and nutritious (google a recipe) then when it comes to a part where it needs to bake for 15 minutes work out while it cooks. You could also put some music on and clean up but as you do it dance and move around to the music, believe it or not dancing burns more calories than any other sport. Good luck!
