Your Question About Easy Weight Loss

Susan asks…

what is the quickest way to loose weight?

im 14 and am 5’6 and weigh 138…. i want to loose weight and just be skinny all around. i want to lose weight quick, i know its not healthy but im going to do it no matter what. i have tried puking, but i feel like it doesnt work. i need to lose weight in 2 weeks, so please help!

weight loss cardiff answers:

You are going about this is a totally unhealthy, dangerous way. Anything you lose now is most likely to be water weight, not actual fat loss. You shouldn’t cut out any foods, but the ones that are most liekly to make you put on weight (and therefore to avoid) are your sugars, fats and bad carbohydrates (white breads, etc). Good luck, and please stop puking… Try to do this sensibly.

Mary asks…

What are the easiest and quickest ways to lose weight?

I really want to lose weight in 1 or 2 weeks…any ideas?

weight loss cardiff answers:

Shedding weight isn’t really “easy.”

If you are serious about knocking off some pounds, you have to commit yourself to cardio (running) exercises daily. Perhaps take one day off. Run for 45 minutes each day.

You have to eat good, too. Cut down on the sodium, cholesterol, and saturated fats you eat (read the nutritional facts label on foods). I’d say aim for no more that 1600 cals daily, but no less than 1200. Take a multivitamin tablet when eating so few of calories to ensure you are getting all the vitamins and minerals your body needs.

Have fun and I hope you lose weight!

Your Question About Easy Weight Loss

Michael asks…

What weight loss tips do you have?

My goal is to start working out tomorrow and I really only need to lose 30 pounds to be at a healthy weight. So my questions are:
1) What machines do you recomend and how long should I work out for on my first day?
2) How often should I up my work out time?
3) What foods should I avoid?
4) How long will it take roughly to lose 30 pounds?
5)I’m thinking that because I’m 23 and not really over weight it will be easy to lose 30 pounds or am I kidding myself?
5) Any other advice you have for me (a soon to be former couch potato) would be greatly accepted.

weight loss cardiff answers:

From memory, body 4 life recommends small meals, maybe 5 to 6 a day. Only good carbs, like whole wheat bread, yogurt, bake potato’s. Good protein like fat-free cottage cheese, grilled or boiled chicken, tuna in water, all natural peanut butter, turkey meat. Two or three portions of fruit and veggies a day.

The work out regimen was upper body one day, aerobic the next, lower body the next, aerobic the next for six days. One day off. It was five sets of weights in a progression format (i.e. 8lbs 10 times, 10 lbs 8 times, etc.), and interval aerobics. It is a good book. I never could stick with it to gain muscle. You can try reading dr.john berardi too. He seems like he knows what he is talking about in his newsletters and a book he co-authored.

Weight Loss Tips Anyone?

Does anyone have any amazing fast working weight loss tips that are easy…?
I want to look good for my solider coming home from Germany for the first time in a year, longest time we’ve been apart :(, in july…. I can not procrastinate any longer.

weight loss cardiff answers:

How many times do we hear from some overweight people that “they have tried everything” to lose weight but nothing works?
Yet these people have *never* tried missing a meal every so often or at least reducing their portions or giving up sugar and fattening foods,.,.
Losing weight is simplicity itself: eat less and burn more.

Sandy asks…

Can someone give me tips for weight loss?

I’m a 13 year old girl 5’4″ and 128 pounds. I want to roughly lose 15 pounds. How long will that take? I’m going to Florida for a week so I’ll be eating out a lot just so you know :/ I only drink water, no soda or anything, and my exercise daily is usually just dance and squats. Can you give me easy tips and other things I should know? Thanks

weight loss cardiff answers:

You’re normal weight – the MOST you should loose is 5 pounds – no more. I am one inch shorter than you, and weigh 119 – so you should be a little heavier than me.

Dancing uses up a lot of energy, so I think your exercise is great – and it’s a good thing you drink water instead of soda. Soda is unhealthy.

When you eat out, try to choose the healthier foods – avoid foods with lots of fat or sugar in them. DO eat meat, soup, and other high-calorie foods during the day, but in the evening, try to stick to a light salad, some yogurt, or some fruit. Also, avoid eating after 7.

Other than loosing just a few pounds, you should be fine 🙂 You get your exercise and drink healthy drinks. 🙂

Weight Loss Cardiff’s Simple Guide To Healthy Eating, Part 1

The A-E Food GUIDE

Making the right Food Choices in Cardiff

As you read this in Cardiff today, old cells in your body are dying and new ones are replacing them at the rate of about 50,000 cells per second. The raw material for these new cells comes from the food you eat. The condition of your body today is the result of the sum total of all the food choices you’ve made in the past. The condition and weight of your body in the future will be the sum total of all the food choices you make today. You are what you eat! Most people take their food choices very lightly, not realizing that everything they eat has an impact on their physical condition including their weight. Even worse, some people living in Cardiff give no thought at all to what they eat every day – they choose anything without giving any consideration to the long term consequences on their health and their weight.

If all your food is Low Grade you’ll have a Low Grade Body. If your food is High Grade you’ll have a High Grade Body and you’ll be more energetic and stronger. You will be healthier leaner, more muscular and your weight will no longer be an issue. The problem is how to choose those foods in Cardiff? When you walk down a supermarket aisle or look at a restaurant menu, you’re faced with such an array of choices. Labels that state “low cholesterol,” “low fat”, “30% less fat,” “all natural,” and “100% organic” grab your attention and seem to scream, “pick me!” How do you know what’s a good choice and what’s a bad choice? Well at Weight Loss Cardiff we have put together a system to easily tell the difference between a Low and High grade food which will enable you to make an informed choice on what you decide to eat. If you work out the grades you are getting now, then you can start to improve them by slowly introducing higher grades into your diet. This will then help you lose weight as well as giving you more energy.

The system is shown in a similar way to when you were at school so an A* would be excellent and an E would be very poor. This is because food choices don’t simply fall into the categories; “pass” or “fail.” Rather, food quality can range from excellent, very good, good, fair, poor and very poor. Think of it as a scale or spectrum, the same way as temperature. When does hot become cold. Or sound, when does quiet become loud hot and cold are just two ends of a spectrum. Your food choices in Cardiff can be seen in the same way. Food quality can range from highly processed with zero nutritional value on the low end (an “E”), that will make you put on weight. To all natural with high nutritional value on the high end (an “A*”) which will help you lose weight in Cardiff.

Here’s an example: You buy apples in Cardiff to help with weight loss, an apple is an A grade food. The apple is a raw food in its natural state. Now, what about unsweetened applesauce? That’s simply pureed apples, but still, it’s not in its MOST natural state, so now it’s a “B. Turn it into apple juice and you’re down to a “C”. Then if you add sugar and make an apple drink you’re down to a “D”. Finally, if the apples eventually become an apple pie, now you’re down to an “E”.

You can take a lot of foods through this process and grade them accordingly. In Cardiff when you are looking for weight loss the task can be quite simple. Your job is to look at your own diet and find places where you could improve your food grades. If you already have all A’s the chances are that you are already in great shape and have good health. If not then start with small changes each week and over time you will find yourself looking out for those A’s and losing weight naturally.

In the next post we will give you further information on how to grade the foods you buy and the next steps in your quest for weight loss in Cardiff, so come back soon.
