Making the right Food Choices in Cardiff

 

As you read this in Cardiff today, old cells in your body are dying and new ones are replacing them at the rate of about 50,000 cells per second. The raw material for these new cells comes from the food you eat. The condition of your body today is the result of the sum total of all the food choices you’ve made in the past. The condition and weight of your body in the future will be the sum total of all the food choices you make today. You are what you eat! Most people take their food choices very lightly, not realizing that everything they eat has an impact on their physical condition including their weight. Even worse, some people living in Cardiff give no thought at all to what they eat every day – they choose anything without giving any consideration to the long term consequences on their health and their weight.

If all your food is Low Grade you’ll have a Low Grade Body. If your food is High Grade you’ll have a High Grade Body and you’ll be more energetic and stronger. When you walk down a supermarket aisle or look at a restaurant menu, you’re faced with such an array of choices. Labels that state “low cholesterol,” “low fat”, “30% less fat,” “all natural,” and “100% organic” grab your attention and seem to scream, “pick me!” How do you know what’s a good choice and what’s a bad choice? If you work out the grades you are getting now, then you can start to improve them by slowly introducing higher grades into your diet. The system is shown in a similar way to when you were at school so an A* would be excellent and an E would be very poor. This is because food choices don’t simply fall into the categories; “pass” or “fail.” Rather, food quality can range from excellent, very good, good, fair, poor and very poor. Think of it as a scale or spectrum, the same way as temperature. When does hot become cold. Or sound, when does quiet become loud hot and cold are just two ends of a spectrum. Your food choices in Cardiff can be seen in the same way. Food quality can range from highly processed with zero nutritional value on the low end (an “E”), that will make you put on weight. To all natural with high nutritional value on the high end (an “A*”) which will help you lose weight in Cardiff.

Here’s an example: You buy apples in Cardiff to help with weight loss, an apple is an A grade food. The apple is a raw food in its natural state. Now, what about unsweetened applesauce? That’s simply pureed apples, but still, it’s not in its MOST natural state, so now it’s a “B. Turn it into apple juice and you’re down to a “C”. Then if you add sugar and make an apple drink you’re down to a “D”. Finally, if the apples eventually become an apple pie, now you’re down to an “E”.

You can take a lot of foods through this process and grade them accordingly. In Cardiff when you are looking for weight loss the task can be quite simple. Your job is to look at your own diet and find places where you could improve your food grades. If you already have all A’s the chances are that you are already in great shape and have good health. If not then start with small changes each week and over time you will find yourself looking out for those A’s and losing weight naturally.

Setting Your Goal For Weight Loss In Cardiff

Have you ever wondered Why losing weight or dieting can sometimes be so difficult? Why so many diets or attempts to lose weight fail? Then you are not alone . Many people have a desire for weight loss in Cardiff.

The power of intention

The first thing to remember when deciding to do anything is that you must “want” to do it.
If you are going on a diet or trying to lose weight then you have to “want” to do it.
It is no good doing it for someone else.

This is the most important thing, it has to be for “you” and nobody else. You have to be doing it for “you”, not for your partner, not for your friends but for “you”
And you must want to do it!
Once you have made the decision, that you do really want to do it for yourself, you are half way there.

You have set an intention.

Setting the intention to lose weight, or go on a diet is the most important element to your success. Without the intention you are likely to fail.

Now that you have the intention you have to state it in a positive way.
Don’t say I need to lose weight . Always state your intention as if it has already happened. Try to incorporate an action word in the intention and use the present tense.

An example of this might be ” I am celebrating my ideal weight”. The other thing that will help you is if you can have a vision of your ideal “you” at your desired weight. A picture of yourself when you were younger perhaps, or even a picture of someone else who looks the way you would like to.

Once you have the statement and picture it is very important that you set aside some time preferably twice a day to visualise yourself at your desired weight and to state the intention.  Also try to imagine how it feels now that you have reached the goal, see yourself buying new clothes and enjoying the experience, see the look on other peoples faces as they congratulate you on your success. The more feeling you put into your visualisation the better.

So in the above sistuation you would have the picture and whilst looking at it you would say “I am celebrating my ideal weight”. If you do this for 30 days or more you will be well on your way to actually achieving the outcome.

Don’t be tempted to ignore this step in any attempt to go on a diet or lose weight as the chances of your success will be greatly reduced.
