Exercises to Lose Belly Fat: Cardio workouts

Cardio can actually help you to lose weight everywhere on your body, which also makes it a great exercise to lose belly fat. The human body has a tendency to accumulate extra fat in a variety of different places, dependent mostly on genetics. If your body stores fat around your belly, you need to decrease your overall body fat percentage in order to achieve the flatter, healthier stomach you have always imagined.

Sandy asks…

Does anybody have any quick, easy, healthy and tasty recipes conducive to weight loss and healthy living?

I grew up cooking like a classic midwesterner and most of the recipes I know are fattening. At almost 40 now, it is catching up with me and I need advice on recipes, food ideas and/or some websites that you have tried/tested some recipes. I like all kinds of foods, just don’t know how to make the healthy ones. I usually cook for a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children so kid friendly is a bonus!). I also would like to be able to pass down more healthy cooking/eating habits to my children so that none of us ends up like my grand parents and aunts & uncles (VERY obese). We have already dramatically cut back on the sodas and junk food, only have it on rare special occasions and don’t keep that stuff in the house. Thank you for your help!

Who is the original artist who painted the painting on Dietrich Bonhoeffer’s book titled “Ethics”?

I’ve have looked and cannot find it anywhere you’re helping will be greatly appreciated.

weight loss cardiff answers:

Tough one. The only thing I could find was and artist named Emil Nolde (7 August 1867 – 13 April 1956). Do you have a link to the painting? Recent editions have a photo of the author on the front cover.

Maria asks…

I am looking for online audio or text lectures or sermons by Dietrich Bonhoeffer and Karl Barth?

If any one knows of any good web links for these please post them or email them to me .

Here is a good starting place:

Robert asks…

Christians: Was Dietrich Bonhoeffer justified in trying to kill Hitler?

While I know that the circumstances made it very hard for him and other Christians to put up with Hitler, I personally don’t think he was justified in trying to kill Hitler. I think that while he only meant well, he had no right to take God’s judgment into his own hands. However, I want to see what you think about Bonhoeffer.

weight loss cardiff answers:

I’ve only read his book “Ethics” and I found it a tough, but very good read.

After that, I started reading a bit more about him as a person. He’s certainly an interesting fellow.

It’s really tough to put ourselves in the position of passing judgment on a man in a different county, under a different government at a different time.

Hindsight would seem produce a resounding “Yes” in regards to his justification.

But, given that, what do we say about someone nowadays who targets an individual?

If there was justification to kill Hitler, then Bonhoeffer is irrelevant in the discussion.

Your Question About Easy Weight Loss

Thomas asks…

How can I lose weight in week?

I weigh 95 pounds. I think I need to lose weight because I dont fit into some of my favorit clothes. My goal is at least 70 pounds. Almost everybody thinks I am fat. There is this boy that I realy like at school and they are doing a fittness test at scool. So I am trying to lose weight for a boy and the test

weight loss cardiff answers:

Are you in 3rd grade? If your goal is 70 pounds, you must be incredibly young.

We would need to know your age and height to give you any information– otherwise you will get very snippy answers about being a skeleton, etc, because 95 is very underweight for the average adult woman.

Nancy asks…

How many calories should I lose a week in order to lose weight?

I weigh about 128 and 5 ft 3 inches tall. I do cardio 3times a week. I would do 30 minute cardio for the two days and the third day would do an hour of cardio. If my calculations are correct, the total calories I burn is 1700 per week. I don’t watch my caloric intake although I do eat “healthy”. My question is, is this enough calories to burn in order to lose weight? What do you think I should do to lose 5 more pounds?

weight loss cardiff answers:

Yup, I’ve read 3500 calories per pound is right. I don’t think doing twice as much exercise is the only or best answer though. Your body and metabolism have probably adjusted to your exercise level. But hey, good for you for leading a pretty healthy lifestyle already.
Try cutting out 100-200 calories a day (that could be just one less large soda, one serving of something starchy like rolls, potatoes or bread, etc); never eat after 7 pm; and add one more day of exercise. It could take 6-8 weeks, but those last 5 pounds should come off.
Also check out websites like hungry-girl and weight watchers for ideas on how to cut out a few extra calories. Good luck!
(Though ps – I agree with poster above. You are at a healthy weight for your height already!)

Joseph asks…

Your Question About Easy Weight Loss

Maria asks…

What do you think about weight loss pills?

Who is for and who is against weight loss pills? I`m doing some sort of a survey among you people so I can decide whether I will take some weight loss pills in order to lose almost 30 pounds or not. If you don`t agree to weight loss drugs, what else besides eating vegetables do you suggest?

weight loss cardiff answers:

Hello! I don`t agree to weight loss pills. I believe you must lose weight the same way you gained weight.. The best way to lose weight is the healthy way. Just keep your calorie intake under control and things will work out great! I work a lot so I use an online diet and workout planner to count my calories. There`s a good one at http://www.projectweightloss.com/, and it’s free. In case you`re interested in losing weight the “usual” way, that’s a great choice. In my opinion, this is the safest and healthiest way to stay in shape.

Daniel asks…

What are the risks of taking weight loss pills?

I’ve been trying to lose weight recently. I’ve been really healthy, drinking a lot of water, eating healthy and doing excercise, but my weight never goes down it just stays the same. So i considered weight loss pills. Is it true that after you stop taking them you’ll put on weight like crazy? Are they bad for you? I just want to know if its true that you gain weight when you stop taking them, as i dont want to be taking them for the rest of my life. Any info on this would be great. Thanks!

weight loss cardiff answers:

Percent of body fat is more important, not weight. If weight was more important then most bodybuilders would be considered overweight. Weight loss pills usually dont work and if they do they arent good for the heart and more than likely you will gain all that weight back when off the pills…

Michael asks…

What weight loss pills work that are sold at walmart for men?

What are some good weight loss pills that are sold at walmart or places like cvs walgreens kmart for men that help loose weight (researching for a friend)

weight loss cardiff answers:

Weight loss pills don’t work. They just suppress appetite and pack you full of caffeine. The best way to lose weight is through diet & exercise alone, there are no shortcuts.
