How to lose weight easily and quickly?

Im 17 5ft 5 and 145 lb’s and want to lose some weight. Ive cut out chocolate at college and replaced it with an orange and an apple. Its hard at college because the food choice is poor. Also my mum cooks so i have to eat what im given which isn’t always healthy. I walk my dogs 3 times a day for 20-30 Min’s and do dog agility. This is the only exercise I get any recommendations for diet or exercise?

To look great start small every day do a little more start by drinking lots of water you should drink about 8 ounce of glass water a day. Stay away from fried food, eat veggies, fruits.. In stead of eating three big meals a day, eat small snacks every two-three hours. Start by walking around your block everyday for about 10-15 mins. And to achieve more walk/run longer every day. A good healthy diet is never cheap. It’s cheaper to buy junk at a fast food restaurant than to buy fruits and vegetables at the grocery store.

Setting yourself on a strict diet can actually be counterproductive, because many times people find that they can’t stick to such a strict regimen and they end up “cheating” on the diet…feeling guilty…and well, you can see how this creates a negative cycle.

Do some research, read labels, etc. Eat a healthy diet without starving yourself. If you are a soda drinker, just replacing soda with water can make a tremendous difference.

Moderate walking daily or every other day would probably be the best exercise for you considering your weight. Someone of your size can actually burn a considerable amount of calories just walking at a moderate pace for 20-30 minutes.

Running is the best all over fat burner. If you do not like running, have breathing problems or cannot run, you can walk at an incline. For example if you walk on a treadmill at 4 mph at 10 incline for 45 minutes, you have burned 500 calories. Eat mostly fruits, vegetables, and protiens. Try to cut back on sugar or not eat anything full of sugar such as candy, cookies, etc but natural sugars (found in fruit) are fine. Here is a meal plan that will help you lose weight fast and not be too hard to follow:

BREAKFAST
1/2 grapefruit
2 egg whites
slice of whole wheat toast

LUNCH
pear
banana
Fiber One bar
serving size bag of Sunchips(your choice of flavor)
celery with peanut butter

DINNER
breaded and baked fish (any kind you like) or chicken
peas or any kind of vegetable
brown rice

SNACKS
cottage cheese
fruit
vegetables
protien shake (one scoop protien powder, nonfat milk, frozen fruit)

Also make sure you drink enough water. Drink one glass on nonfat skim milk a day or have it in a shake and then drink NOTHING but water. Take your weight and divide it by 2. The convert pounds to ounces. For example, if you weighed 150 lbs then divide by 2 = 75 lbs then convert to ounces – 75 ounces of water a day. Make sure to drink that much water every day.

Eat three meals a day, No snacks. Only buy fresh fruit and healthy food: I know, it’ll seem like you have nothing to eat, but the thing is, if you’re not willing to eat it then you don’t need it/aren’t hungry enough. Still, eat those three meals: don’t skip meals or your body will go into storage mode. I was brought up this way and eating is actually an inconvenience to me… I’ll likely never be overweight. I am 15 year old male and about 5’8″-5’9″. I weigh about 187-190 pounds. I am overweight but not obese. My BMI is about 28. Is it alright if I don’t eat for a week to lose weight? I have tried exercising by running on the treadmill everyday for twenty minutes to half an hour at steep incline but notice no change in my weight. So should I fast for a week to lose some weight?

No, don’t do that. Do eat, but eat the healthy way. Eat mostly fruits and vegetables, nuts, fish, chicken. Cut out soda and high sugary drinks and stick to mostly water.

Vary your workout routine. Personally, I like exercising outdoors. Maybe you could try running outdoors and mixing it up with walking. If you own a bicycle, get that out and bike away. (I once lost over 20 pounds by biking everyday). Lift some free weights, as this will increase your metabolism. If you don’t own any weights, at least do pushups.

ive been breastfeeding for six months and the weight doesnt seem to be coming off but i have such an appetite ive been eating like crazy!
