Your Question About Easy Weight Loss

William asks…

What diet do you recommend for someone who’s sensitive to carbs and want’s to maintain weight loss?

So if someone, who’s insulin resistant, can lose alot of weight on atkins induction but has trouble keeping the weight off (maintenance) with atkins, what diet do you recommend that person to maintain the weight loss after induction?

Are you saying you can lose weight at 20g net carbs but gain weight at 25g net carbs???

I am insulin resistant & have thyroid dysfunctions so it’s almost impossible to lose weight without thyroid meds but I maintained my weight for 10 years on appx 50g net carbs daily (& even lost weight at 50g with thyroid meds) I could even maintain my weight on higher levels but 50g was more than sufficient with low carb foods.

I know we are all different but something is not adding up. Is your dietary fat >65% of total calories? Are protein levels 80% of total calories from dietary fats.

Jimmy Moore is very carb sensitive & at 410# lost 180# in a year low carbing but with carb creep, frankenfoods, & even though he maintained a low carb lifestyle, he regained 80# several years later. He started what is coined “Fatkins” (>80% calories from dietary fats) & has now lost the weight & is now smaller than ever.

>80% of total calories from dietary fats should allow even someone highly sensitive to carbs to lose weight.

Ken asks…

What food supplement would you recommend for weight loss?

I’m working on a new blog post and I’d like the community’s opinion on weight loss supplements.

What food supplements have you tried before and how effective were they? Inquiring minds want to know. πŸ™‚

weight loss cardiff answers:

Beans!
The favorite right now with the cold weather is 15 bean soup.
One cup a day is over 100% of RDA of soluble fiber. Binds to fatty acids similar to the way Alli diet pills work. For about 25Β’ a day.
Yes you get a bit gassy at first but after building up the good bacteria in the large intestine it tapers off. Great source of protein, iron, and calcium. And keeps you regular.
Also act as a complex carb so they make you feel full longer.
Spice them up with chili and garlic powder, black pepper and onions and diced tomatoes and the spices help increase metabolic rate.
There you go!

Any thinspo blogs by girls who are 5’3 in height?

I really like seeing pictures and hearing stories from other women about weight loss, anyone know of any thinspiration or weight loss blogs by ladies who are 5’3 – 5’4? I want to get an idea of what goal weight would be best for me.

Also no links to pro-Ana sites please. I’m losing weight the healthy way πŸ™‚
