How much weight should she lose in three weeks with this?

My best friend is overweight. She’s 5’7, 165 and she wants to this diet where she eats a small breakfast, skips lunch and eats a normal dinner at night. She doesn’t exercise much. She has a tendency to get gain weight sometimes. She tells me that she was a low metabolism and can gain weight easily. How much weight would she lose in three weeks?

That’s the worst dieting plan I’ve ever heard of.
She might lose weight but it’s going to be muscle and the weight she will eventually gain back when she tires of her ridiculous diet will be fat. So she will than end up with lets say -5 lbs of muscle + 6lbs of fat.
Seen it happen all to often.
Breakfast should also be your largest meal of the day, dinner should be the smallest. Skipping meals will do nothing but continue to slow her motabolism down. Eat a big breakfast, eat small healthy snacks every 2-3 hrs with a decent lunch and dinner and you’ll see quality weight loss.
Incorporate a fitness regiment and you will really shed some pounds.

Why do I lose and gain weight so easily?

Okay so about 2 years ago i went on a 2 week fast and only had water and excersized and lost 25 lbs. When the fast was over i ate so much due to my hunger, and in about 4 or 5 months i gained the weight back. I eventually started eating normal again and starting gaining weight rapidly, i gained 70 lbs in a few months. Then i realized i was getting really heavy so i tried the fast again for about a week but this time i was eating alot just not as much as before and still lost 30 lbs. I got down to 200 lbs and fasted again for another week and didnt lose anything, but then i did another week and lost 10 lbs. But i could eat something small like a bag of chips and gain 3 pounds. Ive recently again went on a “NON FASTING” normal diet and the same situation happens i gain weight so easy and lose weight so easy too. Right now im 6 1 and 175 pounds and i want to maintain this weight but if i eat somethng small i gain 5-10 pounds and if i dont eat i lose 1-2 pounds in a day, i dont even have to excersize to lose a pound daily just dont have to eat. So why is my metabolism permanently messed up and how can i repair it to have normal weight loss. Its a rare case and i never heard of anybody with the same problem its like im blessed and cursed at the same time. Please help!!!

The weight you lost was water weight. You didn’t lose much fat. That’s why it all gained back quickly. If you want to lose weight, just exercise and eat correctly. Exercising will help boost your metabolism and help burn things quicker, and tone/slim down your body, and many other benefits. Eating healthy supplies fuel and proper energy.

How can i lose weight within a week?

i weigh 130 pounds and im 14. and my t-shirt size is x-large. i want to slim down 2 like a medium or maybe a small. i need tips on how to burn more fat easily and wat healthy foods will be healthy. please and thank you. i need 2 know wat excercises i need to do each day or every hour or so. please help me.

What you should do is change your eating habit to a healthier one and start exercising (people tell you this over and over because it WORKS!).

Disclaimer: I don’t recommend any diet to you or anyone, but I just wanted to share my experience. You should talk to your nutritionist/doctor before making any drastic changes to your body.

What I did was I went on an “eating-only-corn-flakes” diet. XD I lost the weight really quickly (~25 lbs). After a 2-3 weeks of eating only corn flakes breakfast/lunch/dinner (NO snacks whatsoever), I went off the diet and started eating normal, and healthy foods, with A LOT of water and tons of fruits. I’m able to keep off the weight I’ve lost for ~6 years now.

Currently, I’ve been exercising. I have an “air-stepper” at home, and I get on it for 15 minutes each day to get my cardio workout. I take my pulse at 5 min. Intervals for 15 minutes to see if I’m improving. ^_^ Then, I get on my Total Gym and start working on my arms and legs (pulling, pushing, etc.). To tone my abs, I do 200 crunches; they are much easier than sit-ups. ^_^ Lastly, I do 100 of those “standing-up” crunches. I don’t know what to call them, but I saw it on Hip-Hop Abs. The lay down crunches and the standing up crunches that I do gave me the flat stomach I have now. ^____^ Very happy with the results. You can do as many as your body can tollerate for ONE day and feel your stomach flatter immediately afterwards (at least for me)! It’s incredible!

If you do not have gym equipment, just jumping around and running place for 15-30 minutes will get you your cardio workout. Eat yougurt, fruits, and other health foods. Drink tons of water and your daily dosage of milk. ^_^
