What’s the difference between the FDA and the AMA when it comes to approving diet pills?
Heard a recent news report that there’s a diet pill that has been approved by the FDA for the first time. How have previous diet pills made it to store shelves w/o FDA approval??

FDA approves “drugs” ie preparations which have a medical use. Most diet pills are not considered to be drugs, they are “dietary supplements”.

What is the best non energy diet pills out there?
I am 18, I weigh 125 lbs and I’d like to get down to110 like I used to be a year ago. I don’t need any needless/rude answers please.. I also take seroquel at night for my anxiety as my medication, but are there any diet pills out there that won’t cause heart palpulations/jitteryness or energy for me?

Hydroxycut is purportedly a fairly effective weightloss drug.
The drug works by speeding up your metabolism and (in the process) burning more fat.
As with any drug, you MAY experience side effects which CAN include excess energy. The excess energy is just a normal side effect of the increased metabolism and will not necessarily result in jitteryness. Although hydroxycut has been reported to cause heart palpitations in rare cases, I took the medication for 3 months and I did not experience this.
You should consider a regular exercise program to compliment any diet pills. As with any medication you should consult your doctor prior to taking hydroxycut (especially if you are already taking medications).
