Joseph asks…
What happens if you take a diet pill and don’t eat after taking it?
I’ve purchases Cellan diet pills and it says to eat a half hour to an hour after taking it. I didn’t have time to eat. Is this bad for me?
This is the first time I’ve ever done this, and it’s not intentional.

Helen asks…
What is the best diet pill to lose weight?
I am trying to lose weight, I have changed my eating and exercising habits, but still nothing. I am wanting to try a diet pill, but I want something that is healthy for me. I do not know very much about diet pills. Can anyone help me out?
Ok, maybe I shouldn’t take a weight loss pill, but an appetite suppressant. Would that be better?
weight loss cardiff answers:
I would recommend you talk to your doctor first. If you have changed your eating and exercising habits and your weight is not coming off you may want to have your Thyroid Checked.
I would never recommend anyone take a Diet Pill because they all say with diet and exercise and I am sorry to say there is no magic pill to help get the weight off.
I can feel your pain. I have plateaued many times in my journey to lose 436 pounds. And I have bounced up and down. I am now down over 150 pounds in weight and I did it all through diet, seeing a nutritionist, and walking my dog and on a treadmill. It is not easy but I have never once taken a pill to help me get weight off.
So please see your doctor first. Find out if you have an underlying medical condition that is preventing you from getting those pounds off. He or She may be able to get your Thyroid working again, or suggest a nutritionist to help you reach your goals. But stay away from diet pills.
Nancy asks…
How old do you have to be to buy a diet pill?
Just a bottle of diet pills, do you have to be 18 to buy diet pills from a store?
weight loss cardiff answers:
Bad news – there are NO diet pills that reduce anything but your financial resources. None of them work, period. I am a practicing physician and nutritionist and in the past 25 years have NEVER had a patient lose weight on anything they tried from the pharmacy. There are not even any good prescription weight-loss drugs these days. So please don’t waste your money. Go to the library and check out the “South Beach Diet” book or the Atkin’s Diet books and work on the diet. Or consider joining Weight Watchers. The only patients who have lost weight and kept it off selected a diet approach, used it correctly, and stayed with it. Good luck.
