George asks…
Why isn’t the change to healthy eating having an effect on my weight (regardless of exercise)?
I have made healthy changes to my diet but they seem to have had no effect. I have seen others go on diets without exercise and lose weight easily, so why are my changes having no effect?
I have cut out all margarine, reduced the amount of sugar in my coffee, switched to healthy lunches and dinners, but nada…..whats going on!?
I have done this since July last year…with only 2 weeks (separately) of blow outs….
Regarding my diet, I just posted to find out the calories http://au.answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AvUIpvYotZIUJAdXbqB7bGzg5gt.;_ylv=3?qid=20090408005908AA4qxab

Its because since you cut down all those calories your body has started getting used to your new caloric intake, meaning they will not have any effect on your weight loss, its still a good thing but it wont help you lose weight, it would just maintain your weight.
The way to fix this problem is first you have to change your caloric intake often to confuse your body in a way, this is what you should do.
On day 1, increase your caloric intake by 500 calories
On day 2, decrease your caloric intake by 500 calories
On day 3, increase
On day 4, decrease
This way your body would be confused, so on the days you decrease calories it would still have increased metabolic rate, then your body will think you arent going to lessen your diet the next day but your actually going to increase it, which means your body’s metalobism would have to increase again to make up for the added calories.
Try doing that diet and see how it works for you, ofcourse a little exercise would also go a long way. Try jumping in place for 10mins that is enough to burn 100 calories in 10 mins which is alot.
Good luck
Edit:
I just checked your other question, sorry I do not know how much calories are in what you eat but what I know is that you are still not eating enough.
If you do not eat more then your metalabolic rate would decrease, you need to keep your metabolism up because that is what burns fat. The less you eat the slower your metabloism will be.
I suggest that you add more food to your diet, this is a light form of starving yourself, add more complex carbohydrates to your food, you seem to be lacking in that part. Drink protein shakes if you can and try weight training to build lean muscle which will help in fat burning.

How do I lose weight?
Since I have turned 22 I have notice my weight creeping up on me.. I am usually pretty good with holding diets but for some reason it is harder to lose weight than it used to be. I exercise regularly, doing pilates three times a week and cardio as well. I am 5’4 and weigh 134 pounds. I would like to be 125 again. How do I lose weight easily, without starving myself or exercising more than the recommended amount? I have been trying but I have actually gained weight!! AHHH!

Start watching your carb intake. Start off by doing a food diary for 1 week, eating normally, but writing down what you eat and how much. Then do a food analysis for fats, carbs, protein, etc., also what kind of fats, carbs, etc you’re eating.
You can use fitday to put in the food and amounts and it gives you a pretty decent breakdown.
Then cut the carbs in half. Stop eating sugar, eliminate bread and pasta and eat only vegetable carbs, etc. Do that for 30 days and all that weight will be gone. (you should exercise still just to keep your body tight)
after losing the weight, try to keep your carb count under 40-50 a day and you will never gain weight, ever. Track your food until you can eyeball how much a serving is without weighing and have some knowledge of which food groups are lower in carbs.

And my parents don’t let me go jogging on mornings before school. I can’t go on evening either because i don’t have enough time. So, what can i do? How can i lose weight easily, but without stopping eating?

Well… Look up online for exercise you can do indoors. Though i would do recommend the jogging, even if it just for half an hour (and after do the indoor exercise)
