Sandra asks…
What tests would enable science to falsify the hypothesis of a supernatural deity?
The ability to falsify a given hypothesis being one of the most important aspects of the scientific method, by what means could science falsify the idea of a supernatural deity? Especially one defined as, “beyond the realm of space and time, non-material, and non-contingent”, that seems so popular these days. If you think science should address the existence of gods, then surely you must know of a way to disprove the existence of gods, otherwise there is no point in applying the methods of science to this area of inquiry.
Thanks.

Supernatural deities are unfalsifiable by definition. And btw, that is not a strength for a theory but a weakness.
Charles asks…
What about everything that surrounds us seems to be substantial proof for the existence of a deity?
To those who believe in a deity? Could the phenomena you speak of be explained by means other than the existence of a deity?
weight loss cardiff answers:
All such claims are nothing but arguments from ignorance or incredulity.
They’re not “evidence” in any way, they’re fallacies.
Peace.
John asks…
What is the belief that a deity created life/earth and left it immediately afterwards?
I was recently reading up agnosticism, which I THOUGHT was the belief that a deity created life and/or Earth and left it to care for itself afterwards, but looks like I was wrong.
Is the word/belief I’m thinking of a part of agnosticism? Or something else entirely?
weight loss cardiff answers:
Deism. Agnosticism is the belief that it is impossible to know 100% if God exists or not. It is usually used to describe atheists who don’t like that word, but most theists and all atheists are agnostic.
