Any diet that focuses on only one food or food group is a fad diet and destined to fail.
I can’t see eating potatoes as a diet anyway. Too many simple carbs.
If it succeeds what are you going to do after you hit your goal weight?
Eat potatoes the rest of your life?
A full diet of whole fresh high fiber high protein foods is the secret.
If it comes out of a box, avoid it. That is how you lose weight permanently.
