Swimming or running to gain stamina and lose weight?
I can do both since I have access to both a swimming pool and a running field. My question is, which is better for gaining stamina and losing weight; running on alternative days or swimming everyday?

Do both. Run one day and swim laps the other day. Each one will build both stamina and help you loose weight. Watch your calorie comsumption, too. Most of the “energy” drinks are just sugar water. Drink Special K Protein water. It’s lower in cals and has 5 grams of protein.

im starting to take up running, mainly because everyone tells me its the best way to exercise the whole body, its fun, and it helps you lose fat fast. if i went running 4-5x week, how much weight would be lost? just general information on running and its benefits, and the fat-burning aspects. It helps with the motivation! (im not exactly skinny- but not obese. id like to start before it gets that way : )

When running, fat burning starts 30 minutes after you start. Iof you do less than 30 minutes, nothing happens.

How much weight can I lose running 4 miles everday plus cut calories?
I’m 16 years old. I am 5″3 or 5″4 and weigh between 120-125lbs. I drink over 2 litters of water a day and I eat pretty healthy. I usally run 2 miles a day. I was wondering if I started running 4 miles a day and cut calories would I lose weight? And if so, how much?
