David asks…
How do Christians know they are not worshipping a demon deity?
This omnipotent and supreme creator of everything does nothing, requires you to worship it blindly, and if you do not you face it’s wrath. The bible then has passages of this deity condoning slavery and rape. Is it just me, or does this stuff not seem more loving and compassionate than we can fathom? Wouldn’t everlasting love and compassion be free for everyone without consequence?

The short answer is yes, the definition of the christian god closely resembles that of a demonic entity… Evil, sadistic and frightening.
Here’s the background info… The chrisitan god descends from the original war-god of the Proto-Indo-European peoples. They were tribes of barbarian invaders who entered Europe and the Middle East on horseback around 4000-2000 BCE, and conquered the peaceful goddess cultures which were indigenous in those areas. After that, there were several millennium of polytheism, and then the most violent and greedy of the war-gods (Yahweh, and later Allah in the East) persecuted all the older religions out of existence and established a monopoly on the business of religion. You might say that as man saw profit in religion, it became furthur and furthur removed from any sort of genuine spirituality, until we got the totally corrupt and obviously phoney religions of the modern western world.

Pagans: How does one go about meeting a Pagan deity?
I’ve had multiple Pagans tell me that they have met a Pagan deity.
So how does one go about meeting a Pagan deity? Where do you meet one? How do you meet one? What is it like? Exactly what happens? Details?

Simply print out a picture off the ‘net or draw one yourself. Light some insence and sit there and chant their name or their invocation(the original ones work best, more energy current), and meditate. Then when you feel the energy in the room shift ask the deity for it’s presence.
You might want to give an offering according to what the deity is matron/patron of. For instance, Artemis is the Virgin Huntress. So you could set out an offering of steak or deer meat or what have you. It’s best to give it to the animals after you offer to the deity so that it’s given back to nature and the cycles continue.
Also: Some of you are only half right. It’s not always about them finding you. Sometimes you have to seek them out.
For those of you who have given me a thumbs down, I’d like to know what advice I gave was not good advice.
