Mandy asks…
How can I keep fit/lose weight easily if I am a teenager?
I am not overweight or obese, but I do want to keep fit or do some sort of exercise to lose a bit of weight. Also I a, terrified of what people think of me some find it very hard to exercise or do anything in public where people can see me.

Well, you need to do cardio exercises, like walking, running, swimming and so on, these exercises will tone your body very quickly, and you don’t need alot of money to do them, i mean, you could walk, and not take the car all the time, and go swimming with your friend, atleast twice a week? If you do that, and keep a healthy diet, you will tone up! But you also need to cut back on white bread, swap it for brown, get semi skinned milk, not full fat, and just cut down on carbs!!!

Sorry to break it to you but there’s no east way out. Wanna hear a simple idea? Right. Go for a walk or a jog every day and dont eat as much. Simple but it works.
Carol asks…
How to lose weight easily?
I’m an obese teenager and nothing seems to help with my genes and the things my family eats, I’ve been trying for almost a year now, and I’m not sure if it’s because of my weak will or just plain lazyness. I want to lose weight for my appearance and the way I feel. I’m confident about everything with my body but my obesity just crosses all of it out and makes me look like an ugly mofo, and I could never get a girlfriend with the way I look right now, if I could I’d either have to pay her and beg for it. Also I always feel slow and it’s hard to breathe, and I’ve never fitted in in school because of my weight, the only benefit is the intimidation I’ve had on people, and that can only do so much when you’re in school.
I’m not looking for what to eat or how to exercise cause I got all of that. I’m just sitting here thinking what the hell is wrong with for me to keep failing and failing, because it’s literally the ONLY thing in my life I don’t like, and I really don’t like it.
weight loss cardiff answers:
Well, DO you have all of the information for exercise and what to eat? I was obese and thought I knew it, too, but I was totally wrong. It was all the stuff that other people claimed they did or saw in a magazine and that stuff was just incorrect as hell.
That being said, you clearly don’t have the motivation to lose weight. Oh, sure, you complain and whine that you’re miserable and fear that you’ll never find anyone to love you, but let’s face it, you’ve made a choice: you would rather be lazy and eat like crap than actually fix your problem. You see what your family eats and instead of saying, “No, today I will stop shoveling whatever they make down my gullet and make my own meal for a change” you instead just keep eating.
That’s your problem. Your laziness and lack of desire to change outweighs your angst about being overweight. That’s why other people are overweight, too. That’s also why people keep up bad habits, like smoking or chronic drinking or mismanaging stress or yelling at their family and friends: they know they need to change, but their desire to change doesn’t outweigh their desire to continue the behavior.
