To protect him from this fate, Prince Frederick seized him on his way home and hid him in Wartburg Castle. It was during his time in Wartburg that Luther began his German translation of the Bible. The edict was temporarily suspended at the Diet of Speyer in 1526 but then reinstated in 1529.

When Luther eventually reemerged from the Wartburg, the emperor, distracted with other matters, did not press for Luther’s arrest. Ultimately, because of rising public support for Luther among the German people and the protection of certain German princes, the Edict of Worms was never enforced in Germany. However, in the Low Countries (comprising modern-day Belgium, Luxembourg, and the Netherlands), the Edict was initially enforced against Luther’s most active supporters. This could be done because these countries were under the direct reign of the Emperor Charles V himself. In December, 1521, Jacob Probst, prior of the Augustinian monastery in Antwerp, was the first Luther-supporter to be prosecuted under the terms of the Worms Edict. In February 1522, Probst was compelled to make public recantation and repudiation of Luther’s teachings. Later that year, additional arrests were made among the Augustinians in Antwerp. Two monks, Johannes van Esschen and Kenet Millur, refused to recant and so on 1 July 1523, they were burned at the stake in Brussels.

I’m young and i’m looking for a quick way to lose weight. I want to lose around 5kg as soon as possible. I walk about an hour on my walker and its not making a difference. Try jogging or running on the tredmill or join a sport like baseball or soccer.

2. Stop eating/drinking anything with refined sugars or that is processed.

The stomach makes you feel hungry when you are actually thirsty sometimes. So, when u r hungry, u might be thirsty, so try drinking water first

4. Watch your calories
aim to only eat about 2500 calories a day. One pound of fat is made up of 3500 calories. If you eat less than 2500 calories a day and only eat about 2000 calories a day. If you do this, you will lose about a pound a week

1. First start by getting up earlier than usual. Around 5:30 AM to do some of you workouts. Getting up early shocks your metabolism because the body needs

more energy to get going. Right? This will start your system on the road to weight loss. That early start with about 10 minutes of stretching. Have a cup of

coffee to get the blood going also.

2. Do all the sit-ups you can. Just do them. 15 or 20 whatever, we don’t have a lot of time to work with. Rest 1 minute repeat, do this for 6 sets. Already

you are breathing hard and feel worn, because the body is working extra hard at being up earlier and then going right into exercise. If the early morning

hour lets you get your cardio in, go ahead and do it. 30 minutes.

3. Diet. Cut all current meal portions in half, just cut them in half, nothing fancy or complicated, CUT IN HALF! Cut out all bread products, all gravies,

candies, chips, night snacks, etc. If you crave at night eat a banana, other fruit or best a non-fat yogurt. There are some tasty ones out there.

4. In the evening do another 6 sets of sit-ups maxing out each set. Cardio again. The trick is to stay with getting up earlier. Yes it’s hard, that’s why

it is so effective. Why do you think the Army gets up so early, it is intense training to the max.

I am a student attending Fort Valley State University and I aspire to be a Registered Dietitian. My major is Food and Nutrition, but what others steps do I need to take in order to see my goals met? Also what other career options do I have under this major?

Oh you’re definitely on the right track. FVSU is an accredited university that offers the DPD core courses for becoming a dietitian. Keep your grades up and study hard!

With accredited schools, you receive the DPD classes as part of your program. After finishing these classes, you can apply for an internship.

During the internship, it ranges from 6-12+ months. You do several rotations at different sites. They can range from 3 weeks at a place to a couple of months. It all depends on the school.

You normally spend time at a food management area (like the cafeteria of a hospital learning to manage diets for large amounts of people), at a public area (like a WIC clinic), and at specialty areas (like burn units of hospitals or cystic fibrosis areas).

After completing the internship, you study more for the exam. After the RD exam, you’re a registered dietitian.

With your major, you could do several things. A friend of mine is a teacher for middle school that has a creative cuisine class. Other friends are working in the food science area of nutrition, running labs, and doing research. People work for public health.

I would suggest you try to tread water for a long period of time for at least an hour.You can go at a pace you like and see how long you can go without stopping. That will build up your muscle as well as shed of a ton of fat. Just remember that it is better to swim for long periods of time rather than swimming like crazy and then resting after one little lap. Also, remember that anyone can tread no matter if your Michael Phelps or an inexperienced swimmer. Try this and you won’t believe how good of an exercise this is for you. Good luck.
