Your Question About Easy Weight Loss

Donna asks…

How often can I cheat on my diet and still maintain weight loss?

Well, it’s not actually a diet. I have totally changed my eating habits and have been working out regularly. I have been keeping track of my weight loss on a computer program and have been losing an average of 3.4 oz per day. How often can I cheat on my eating and still maintain weight loss? Right now its been once or twice per month. I don’t want to risk weight gain but I want to enjoy good food with my kids every once in a while. Last night I ate pizza and this morning my weight is 4 lbs higher according to the scale, I can’t do that! 4lbs is a major setback. I had a friend that said I can eat bad once per week. What do you think? I’m not sure how often really fit people eat what they want. Or why I gain so easily (one night of junk and I gain 3 or 4 lbs that took me weeks to lose.)

weight loss cardiff answers:

Actually, cheating once in a while (and not giant binges, but uppering calorie intake) HELPS you lose weight. You don’t want your body to become accustom to the calories you are eating. If once every month or so you “go off your diet” and eat still healthy, but a bit higher calorie (allow yourself to indulge) you’ll notice when you go back on your diet two days later, the weight will come off easier.

George asks…

I have been running, but need to change my diet to start shedding pounds. What diet is best for runners?

My weight stays very steady no matter how much physical activity I add. My diet is poor and I am ready for change. Carbs are good for running, but not so good for weight loss. I need to find a happy medium and am hoping there is an easy to follow diet out there for me.

weight loss cardiff answers:

You want to eat lean white meats and fishes, plenty of fruits and veggies and limit your carbs. Carbs are good but unless you’re marathon training, they stick on you like glue.

I also eat red meat about 1x a week for protein and iron.

Charles asks…

What is the best way to inject hcg for weight loss?

I just ordered some hCG for my weight loss protocol but im not sure what im doing here, has anyone got any tips.

weight loss cardiff answers:

Where did you buy it from?

Most people inject in the butt but you can also get hcg that you put under your tongue which is much easier.

You can find the injection method here – http://www.youtube.com/user/tawdry2some

and more information about the hcg diet and weblogs can be found here – http://www.drugdelivery.ca/hcg-challenge.aspx

i hope this helps.

Your Question About Easy Weight Loss

Steven asks…

Diet plans, 5-9 pounds a week?

So I was reading a magazine and it said if I followed this diet plan that I will lose 5-9 pounds a week depending on how much I exercise
Breakfast-either yogurt (lite) or two egg whites with load of Cheyenne pepper
Lunch-an orange, or other fruits, besides bananas
Snacks during the day- all veggies, or one of those small baby bell cheeses
Dinner-a salad with a slice of grilled chucked and a small side of lite zest italian dressing.
I’d be eating this and exercising 4-5 times a week
I’m currently 16, 5’4 and 153 lbs. Would following this diet plan really help me lose 5-6 lbs a week. If not how much would it? Thank you 🙂

weight loss cardiff answers:

Your diet and exercise plan seems very unhealthy.

HEALTHY WEIGHT LOSS IS A VERY SLOW PROCESS! You should only lose a maximum of 2 pounds per week! Losing more than 2 pounds a week is dangerous: You will be REDUCING your MINIMUM nutritional requirements for good health! Plus, you are more than likely gain all the weight back because very low calorie diets are hard to sustain for a long time!

One pound equals 3500 calories. Two pounds equal 7000 calories. So if you eliminate 1000 calories a day from your diet, you should lose 7000 calories per week which is 2 pounds. If your diet is mainly unhealthy, eliminating 1000 calories a day should be easy BUT if you already eat healthy cutting that many calories a day is not recommended because your probably getting the correct calories you need each day! You can also burn calories/fat by doing aerobic exercise.

The AVERAGE recommended daily calorie intake is 2500 calories a day for men and 2000 calories a day for women. But remember this is the AVERAGE amount! Each person is different! Your calorie intake may be lower or higher depending on your weight, muscle mass, and activity levels. To make sure you are eating the right amount, you would need to calculate your “personal recommended calorie intake”.

There is NO NEED to do a SPECIAL DIET and to completely give up junk food! When it comes to eating, learn MODERATION and PORTION CONTROL! When eating UNHEALTHY foods/drinks limit intake to ONE SERVING PER DAY! Look on the package label to see how many ounces/amounts equal one serving. Buy foods marked LOW FAT, LOW CALORIES, LOW SODIUM, REDUCED SUGAR! Do research to find out how to select LEAN MEATS for eating because they are lower in fat! Fresh Fruit is naturally sweet and healthy and can help replace sweet desserts and candy. Try raw vegetables and dip instead of chips and dip. Limit intake of greasy/fried foods and frozen meals. Only eat one meal once or twice a week at fast food restaurants. Drink approx. 64 oz water each day and limit intake of soda pop, alcohol, sugar drinks.

Still not losing weight? It is time for a serious food analysis! Keep a food journal to see what you are eating in EXCESS. Do research and find out how much sugar, salt, sodium, unsaturated fat, saturated fat, calories is needed for your age group. Monitoring the previous things found in FOODS AND LIQUIDS will greatly help with weight loss!

Aerobic/Cardio Exercise will get rid of FAT located ANYWHERE on the body! Burn calories/fat by doing aerobic exercise at least 30 to 45 minutes per day, 4 or 5 days per week. Each person is different! You may need MORE or LESS exercise depending on your age, body weight, and calorie/food intake. Do a Warm Up and Stretches BEFORE exercising to prevent injury! Do a Cool Down and Stretches AFTER exercising to prevent body stiffness! You must continue to SHOCK YOUR BODY to keep losing weight! If you do the SAME exercise routine for months, your body will get use to that routine and not work as hard to burn calories/fat, therefore you will not see results! Easy INDOOR aerboic exercise includes dancing to your favorite music, step aerobics using a step bench, rebound aerobics using a mini trampoline, or doing aerobic exercise videos that can be bought at Amazon website or Collage Video website.

Lisa asks…

Need a diet plan?

Ok, so I’ve let myself become disgusting. I was depressed for almost a year and I gained almost 80 pounds. I am only 5’0″ and I weigh 195lbs. Despite being gross, I have found a wonderful man who has asked me to marry him. My wedding is in about 6 months and I would like to lose a little weight, not only to look better, but also for my health. I have an exercise regiment in place, but I need a diet plan. I need something I can follow exactly, because I have a hard time following anything. If anyone knows of anything that I can use, please let me know.
I can’t afford anything professional

weight loss cardiff answers:

This diet takes all the preservatives out of your diet so you do have to cook but the food is good and you never get hungry. Good luck I hope you can find out about it.

William asks…

P90X without the diet plan?

Hi! I was just starting P90X today, and I was wondering if it is useless if you don’t do the diet plan. Could I just eat my normal a day and still see some sort of results? I usually eat around 1500-2000 cals. Would this really make a huge huge difference?
And just putting it out there that I am kind of okay with my weight. I’m 5’9″-10″ and about 155lbs

weight loss cardiff answers:

The P90X diet is quite flexible. I dont stick to it strictly and you can determine for yourself which phase you are on.
But it is basically broken up into 3 phases, with a certain proportion of carbs, fat and protein in each:

The first phase is referred to as the ‘Fat Shredder’ phase and will help you with strengthening the muscles while also losing all that excess body fat that’s on your body. This part of the P90X nutrition plan is composed of 50% protein, 30% carbohydrates, and 20% fat.

After that, then you have the energy booster plan, which is for those who are looking for additional energy to increase their performance. This part of the plan contains 40% protein, 40% carbohydrates, and 20% fat.

Finally, the third phase in the P90X nutrition plan is the endurance maximizer phase and is for those who are looking to perform high level endurance activity. Since energy needs are greater for these individuals, this plan is made up of 20% protein, 60% carbohydrates, and 20% dietary fat

You can read more about the diet here

Hope that helps!

I permanently paranoid that every time I lose weight and start running.

People always want to pull a knife on me because I used to do martial arts.

so if I almost done losing all my weight do you think I should do karate so if I start dating and have to defend a party of three against a knife, so I can snap a or dislocate a arm or joint?

Isn’t it better to do Karate, then a route martial if knife or knives have been pulled on you your whole life.

John asks…

How do I lose weight and prepare for track?

I’m 15-years-old and 5’3 in height. I’m not exactly chubby but I would prefer a more athletic and slim build, maybe even a thigh gap. I also want to prepare for track & field that will be coming in May and I want to make the team. How do I lose weight and run faster? I have a treadmill. How long should I run and how many days a week?

weight loss cardiff answers:

I downloaded an app called from C25k (from couch to 5k) cause I use to suck at running but my goal was to run a 5k and it starts with combos of walks and runs and slowly increase till you can run it all. That would be my suggestion if you don’t have a cell phone i know they have a website so you can look it up of the web. I lost weight just running but I also changed my diet slowly so look into some healthy diets you can ease into. You have time so you should be where you want to be if you have a plan. Good luck and hope that helps!

Your Question About Easy Weight Loss

Steven asks…

I need a weight loss plan?

I’m 170 pounds and 13 1/2
I’m overweight and need to lose weight.
I need a workout plan and food plan
Workout I only have 10 pound weights and my body.
For food I can’t buy anything just guidelines maybe……

weight loss cardiff answers:

Hi, you need 3 things for effective weight loss and these are :
1. Well balanced diet.
2. Any physical activity that gets your heart pumping faster than normal.
3. Correct mental attitude.
With these 3 together you basically guarantee yourself the results you seek.

The most important factor is diet, or a better word would be nutrition. In fact, to lose weight is 70% diet and 30% exercise. Its quite simple actually – burn more calories than you consume.Just burn that mantra into your brain. Write it down and stick it wherever you can see it.
You don’t have to be strict or rigid and deny yourself the foods you love, just eat less of the ‘bad’ foods and more of the nutritious stuff. Moderation is the key, as it is for most things in life.

Regarding exercise, the best system is interval training. This is short but intense bursts of activity. An example is walking, then running, then walking again, with no rest in between. This the best because it works by continuing to burn fat and build muscle even when you are at rest, more than any other system. Another reason is that it won’t allow the weight to return, which is the most important element of any successful weight loss system.

For your thighs use squats, lunges, reverse lunges. For your belly DO NOT use crunches or sit ups. Let me repeat that, no crunches or sit ups. All they are good for is a bad back! Use exercises like the plank and side plank, as well as the superman press up. Take the usual press up position and run your hands forward as far as you can, like Superman flying. Pull your abs in tight( like your belly button meeting your spine) and do a press up. Concentrate on your abs. You won’t be able to do many of them and you will feel a burn in your abs like no crunch or sit up can give you!

Another great abs exercise is to stand relaxed, hands at your side. Breath in through your nose and at the same time pull your abs in tight (as with the superman press up, should feel like your belly button meeting your spine). Hold for as long as you can, breath out. Repeat and work towards 8 time in all.Try and do it 2 to 3 times a day. Do this everyday and not only will you have super abs, your back will be strengthened as well and you will feel very relaxed and calm.Trust me, this is a brilliant and not very well known exercise for your abs, back and overall wellness. Also you can do it anywhere and anytime.

Remember, whatever exercises you choose, and whatever you decide to do, don’t expect miracles, just be consistent and disciplined and apply the 3 elements mentioned above and you WILL succeed and see the desired results.

Helen asks…

Weight loss/dieting plans?

What are some good weight loss/dieting plans for 16 year olds? I’m almost 6 feet tall and obviously I’m a female. I would like to lose about 20 pounds (which is a healthy amount for my size) and tone my arms, legs, and stomach. I was considering doing a water diet and taking fruit and veggie supplements in place of foods but by doing that I will most likely gain weight.I’m willing to stop eating any foods necessary. I’m currently not doing any sports but I do plan on doing track this upcoming winter and either lacrosse or track in the spring as well. When I participate in sports I seem to lose weight but when I run on my own or do other types of workouts at home, I don’t seem to drop weight. Any suggestions would be great! Thanks in advance!

weight loss cardiff answers:

Weight loss tip 1: Decide how much weight you need to lose – Most people start their weight loss journey by claiming to be xyz kilos overweight. This isn’t a healthy way to project or aim for weight loss. Calculate your desired weight against your height by using reliable methods like the BMI, and set a healthy weight loss target. This is often half the battle won.

Weight loss tip 2: Time management – This is quite often overlooked. Decide which part of your day will be dedicated to exercise, when in the week you will stock up on groceries, and when you will do the cooking – all within your current work and home life routine. If you don’t do this now, your days will be rushed and unplanned, and you won’t be able to sustain your weight loss efforts.

Weight loss tip 3: Stock your kitchen – Keep your house well-stocked with fruits, vegetables, healthy meats, grains, cereals, spices, and flavourers. Follow our tricks to healthy cooking, cooking vegetables for the week, and low-fat cooking posts to understand how best you can stock your kitchen with healthy and delicious ingredients. All of this will go into helping the next step – cooking healthy meals at home.

Weight loss tip 4: Eat healthy homecooked meals – Whether it’s you who’s cooking, a family member, or house help, ensure that every one practises healthy cooking methods, and ingredients. Ask any person who’s lost weight the healthy way, and you will always hear about how healthy homecooked meals were a big reason behind it. Use less oil, low salt, fresh produce, and you’ll start seeing results in no time.

Weight loss tip 5 : Start a cardio + weights workout – A healthy weight loss programme is incomplete without a good exercise routine, and weight training mixed with cardio is the best way to lose weight. Of course, variations and forms exist, but any workout that stresses on muscle tone and increased heart rate will always help you lose weight and keep it off. You can either start a home workout today, or rely on gyms for fitness training.

Weight loss tip 6: Alter your snacking habits . Set those French fries aside, skip that aerated drink, and ban those unhealthy deep fried samosas. Explore the healthy snack world and you will find several appetisers, party snacks, movie snacks and meal accompaniments that’ll satisfy every craving of yours.

Weight loss tip 7: Have at least one active hobby – It isn’t sufficient to rely on just 30 to 60 minutes of physical activity per day. Moving from bed to office chair, and back to bed, isn’t a healthy way to live. Buy a motion sensor gaming console that lets you enjoy social games with friends and family, plan weekend trips, clean your house once a week, dance, play sports, the list is endless. Get out of the coffee shop and dining table rut, and you’ll have fun along with the healthy weight loss

Weight loss tip 9: Drink plenty of water – You’ve known that your body relies heavily on water for all important bodily functions, and yet you skimp on drinking adequate quantities of water every day. Well, it’s time to stop that. Check out some exciting ways to make water interesting and you’ll be packing it away in no time. Do not forget to carry a water bottle to your workout, and take a few sips after every 2-3 minutes of exercise.

Weight loss tip 10: Plan healthy vacations – Why go all the way with healthy weight loss, when one tiny vacation will just come along and topple it all? Healthy vacations aren’t impossible. Take a look at how you can eat smart on a holiday, and then at bodyweight workouts that you can carry with you wherever you go, to understand how to holiday right. Above all, remember that these are lifelong habits that’ll help you stay fit forever and not short term weight loss quickfixes

good luck.

Maria asks…

is this a good plan for weight loss?

ok i started a diet and exercise schedule yesterday, i will walk 1 mile every other day and work out on my exercise machine and ball on the days i do not walk. Also i eat a small breakfast, a slim fast shake or 100 calorie snack for lunch and a small dinner. I know its better to eat more small meals but that just doesnt work for me. do you think taht will work or does anyone have a better plan i could follow?

weight loss cardiff answers:

Losing weight is challenging, so don’t waste your efforts by using the wrong diet plan. I used to be very overweight. I would try different diets and all sorts of things. Eventually I learned through my trial and error, how to spot a real healthy weight loss diet plan that will work and is easy to stick with. Through my experience, I have learned exactly what to look for when choosing a healthy weight loss diet plan. Before you begin any weight loss plan, find out if others have had real results using the diet, and make sure the person who created it is qualified to teach you. I about to show you exactly how to do this so you can finally find a a great healthy weight loss diet plan, and actually stick with it.

Another tip that can save you lots of wasted time and effort is make sure the Author is someone who knows what they are talking about. Find out the author has any qualifications to be teaching you how to lose weight. A good clue that you have found a really good healthy weight loss diet plan is if the program is written by a certified personal trainer. It is very likely that a diet created by someone who has put in the grueling effort to become a certified personal trainer will know what they are talking about, and can help you achieve the body you deserve.

When you find a diet you are interested in, try and see if other people have had real results using it. If other people are having success with it, then it is a good bet you will too. One thing you must look out for is people using fake before and after pictures. They are very easy to spot. The key is to make sure you can see their faces in the pictures or it is probably a scam. If the face is blurred, look for tattoos or birthmarks to determine if the pictures are of the same person. You want to find a healthy weight loss diet plan that many people have used and is proven successful. Also find out and read reviews of other people have used the diet, and see if they had good results.. A good thing to look for is before and after pictures that actually show the person face. If you see before and after pictures that don’t show the person’s face, then they may be fake so why waste your time, and take a chance on it when you can try a diet with real before after pics?

Finding a healthy weight loss diet plan that will work doesn’t have to be hard just remember to make sure the diet’s author is qualified to be giving out advice also look for reviews of the product and make sure other people have had good results with it before you start. You want a healthy weight loss diet plan that has worked for others. If you see a diet showing before and after pictures without showing the person’s face, then the pictures may be fake so don’t waste your trying a shady diet when you can try a diet with real before after pics.

Use these tips and you will achieve your fat loss goals much faster because you will be using a healthy weight loss diet plan that is proven to work.
