Your Question About Easy Weight Loss

Linda asks…

What kind of job can I do that is correlated to my future career as a psychologist?

I am 16 and currently work at a fast food restaurant. I want to study psychology and be a Christian counselor when i graduate. Are there any jobs or possible intern opportunities that might could help me on that path? Thank you. 🙂

weight loss cardiff answers:

Very sorry to hear that anyone has sold you on the idea that Psychology and Christianity can be compatible. The two “ologies” are in fact diametrically opposed to each other.

There are no (real) Christian Psychologists. One is either a Christian (Christ follower) or into Psychology, not both. To be involved really with both is to be “a double-minded man” which is the only common denominator between the two, aka Schizophranic (split mind) according to Psych-babblists.

But being 16 means you have plenty of time to choose which way you can to go with your career; with Christ or with Psychology.

Carol asks…

How do you function and process and develop understanding in relation to the concepts of …?

… good, (neutral, undetermined) and bad? And what do you discover as a result?

weight loss cardiff answers:

One major consideration is of subjectivity and objectivity – is good universal or is it simply different opinions on what is good and bad? Developing an understanding and/ or acceptance of this can help you develop a perspective on morality, helping you make moral decisions and put into perspective the harshness and goodness of life. The work of G.E Moore, Ludwig Wittgenstein, Emmanuel Kant, John Stuart Mill and Dietrich Bonhoeffer most inspired me in my understanding of it. A book called Ethics Matters by Peter Vardy is incredibly good at explaining it if you want something to read on it.

Lizzie asks…

How do I tell my parents I have changed my mind?

So this all has to do with my college major decision. For several years now I have wanted to be a lawyer. I have always loved politics and law would be the perfect stepping stone to enter politics someday. Recently, I have been basically handed a position on Moot Court, which is a mock argument in front of judges at the college I will be attending this fall. I just graduated highschool and I thought I had everything planned out. However, I have come to the realization, I don’t want to be a lawyer, I was just going to use that as a stepping stone. I want to really make a difference in this world and inspire people! I’m a devout Christian so that plays a major role in my decision. I feel like I could make the greatest impact in this world by becoming a motivational speaker. I was going to double major in Political Science and English, yet now, I want to double major in maybe English and Psychology or Communications and English. Should I wait until I have been in college an entire year to make sure I want to change my major? Or should I go ahead and take a 180 in my career decision right now?

weight loss cardiff answers:

New International Version (©2011)
“There is a way that appears to be right, but in the end it leads to death.”

And merging Christianity (Christ following) with Psychology is one of those (ways which only lead to death).

Christianity and Psychology do NOT mix. Those who hold both ologies in one mind are double-minded at best and the Bible says “a double-minded man is unstable in all his ways.”

Chose a God, chose which One you will serve, the “wisdom” of man or the wisdom of God. One or the other.

Your Question About Easy Weight Loss

Robert asks…

Vegetarians: can you lose weight from a vegetarian lifestyle without exercising and dieting?

(i recently turned vegetarian) Vegetarians: can you lose weight from a vegetarian lifestyle without exercising and dieting?
did you lose any weight?

weight loss cardiff answers:

The answer of this question is both yes and no…
Vegetarians are a very healthy lifestyle, but despite that there are a lot of vegetarian food that could make you fat… Especially the high carb intake. If you eat rice or bread to much, you wont loose weight.. – but although you gain weight, you won’t gain fat as much as when you consume meat.. So it’s healthier this way…
I got a Balinese friend, he’s a capoeria instructor and a stuntman, and he’s a veggie all the way… He’s got a very good physical condition, great muscle tone, great stamina and the whole shebang..
So you could loose weight or not, that depends on your healthy lifestyle… One thing for sure, you could lose a lot of body fat and bad cholesterol by adapting the way of the green..
Best of luck..

How Can I Lose Weight Without exercising all the time?

im weighing ten stone nearly, ive got cellulite all over my thighs and i hate it.. how can i lose some weight without exercising all the time.. i hate the way i look

weight loss cardiff answers:

Eat less, and eat better! I have recenty discovered proper cooking, and since then have found that I am excited about preparing real food rather than eating rubbish the whole time.. Give it a a go, you may find you have a new hobby as well as a better diet!

Also, you won’t like this but exercise is definitely the best and fastest way to better looks and higher self esteem. Embrace the challenge 😉

Daniel asks…

What exercise would help me lose weight without building muscles?

I’m 30, 5’1 and 100lbs. I don’t want to gain any weight. In fact, I would like to lose 5lbs by this summer, but don’t know what exercises would help me lose weight without building muscles. I would like to tone my gluteus muscles and trim my arm/leg muscles. Has anyone tried something that has worked? Suggestions?

Peace,

weight loss cardiff answers:

Hey, from looking at your goals above i’d recomend swimming as your best option. Running can end up leaving you too skinny, Crossfit is great but WILL build muscle. Swimming is great for cardio, helps you lose weight and tones every muscle in your body.

Martial arts are also great for toning up and losing weight. If you have a local MMA or boxing gym then get down there!

Your Question About Easy Weight Loss

Helen asks…

What kind of results have people had from taking MEGA-T Green Tea Weight Loss Supplements?

I’m trying to loss weight for my 10 year high school reunion that is coming up in the next 8 months from now and i want to try to be 115-120lbs like i was in high school again. I’m 5’3 and 153lbs right now. I want to loss about 35-40lbs before the reunion so i can get back into my old prom dress that is a size 6 just for fun. What are some great workouts and diets to do when taking MEGA-T Green Tea Weight Loss Supplements? What where your results like after you took this weight loss supplements so i have a good idea on how it may work for me. Thank you to everyone who helps out with this one.

weight loss cardiff answers:

Probably not much, because the hardest way to lose weight is by putting something ELSE in your mouth. It sounds like you have a good goal and a realistic sense of time. Focus on your diet, as that accounts for aout 85% of weight loss, and leave your workouts for cardio conditioning, strength, and muscle tone. They’ll also buy you a little extra wiggle room when it comes to eating, because they’ll burn off SOME calories.

Focus on a diet low in carbs, less than 45g per meal, and focus on several small meals throughout the day. Throw out your big plates and eat off saucers. Seriously! That’s whta I did.
Eat plenty of fruits and vegetables in their natural form and lay off processed starches and sugars.

Regarding your workouts, a good rule is that if you can talk on your cell phone while you’re doing it, then you’re not working out. Get a heart rate monitor, get a trainer, and get a balanced workout and diet plan from them.

Yes, I do take supplements, but as a weight loss strategy, they really suck. All they do it take your money and make you feel like it makes a difference.

Donald asks…

What is the best weight loss supplement?

I am currently going to the gym and eating right, so I can lose a 100+lbs. I am wondering what the best weight loss supplement would be for me. I am working out every day. I weigh 309lbs and badly need to drop it. And feel that 1 lb a week is going to take forever. Thank you for you help.
I have changed my caloric diet and i am losing weight. I just want to know the best supplement to help speed up the process.

weight loss cardiff answers:

Congratulations on starting to take the initiative to get back in shape and become healthy again. You need both resistance and cardio exercise as well as proper eating (sounds like you are probably doing ok here) but supplements can help:

– good supplements: thermogenic fat burners like Ripped Fuel 5x or Hydroxycut Hardore. These increase your metabolism and provide more energy for work outs. They help metabolize the fat when your body temperature rises (i.e. From working out). Follow the instructions, take a dose b4 your workout, and don’t exceed the recommended daily allowance.

David asks…

What weight loss supplement should i take?

I am looking to take a weight loss supplement because I need to loose weight fast. I’ve never taken a weight loss supplement before and I would like something thats going to work well with me dieting and exercising.

weight loss cardiff answers:

Exercise is the BEST treatment. Those supplements are just to boost the metabolism. Any supplement is okay. Not sure about acai berry. Heard got side effects.

Your Question About Easy Weight Loss

Nancy asks…

Is it dangerous to lose more than 1 pound a day?

I’m on this diet called the “fat fast” where you lose 1 – 1.5 pounds a day by restricting carbohydrate intake to 20 grams a day… and eating 90% fat… This diet is safe for people who can’t lose weight, by dangerous for people who lose weight easily… as they will lose too much in a short period of time.

weight loss cardiff answers:

Health experts will always say that its dangerous of course, but they have to say that. And it always makes a difference how tall you are too. If your 6ft and above, 1lb isnt as much of a difference compared to someone who is 5’7 and shorter. But honestly, as long as you take some vitamin pills and dont starve yourself, and dont STAY on the diet forever, then just do it, its not like you’re gonna die after a week of hard-core dieting. Look at beyonce, she lost like 20 lbs in two weeks for her Dreamgirls movie, and that was by drinking some gross lemonade with pepper in it. If that isnt unhealthy, then i dont know what is, and she didnt die from it or anything. Alot of things that are unhealthy wont kill you, and as long as they’re not long term, they wont have any long term side-effects. Id go for it if i were you

Michael asks…

how can i lose weight easily?

i need to lose weight but im finding it really hard to stop eating,i feel hungry all the time, any help
please!

weight loss cardiff answers:

Lose weight easily by not depriving your self and eating healthy. This will keep your metabolism boosted, stop cravings and you’ll be able to keep up with it long term. I’ve listed my healthy eating diet tips below

Always eat breakfast and always include protein for your breakfast. Protein builds muscle, improves your feeling of fullness and will help to keep you satisfied until your next meal.

Choose lean sources of protein, such as chicken, fish, dry beans or lentils. You may even use some protein powder to get more protein with less sugar and calories. I put chocolate whey protein powder in my oatmeal for breakfast, and I don’t need any sugar. If you want to use protein powder, do some research to make sure it does not have unhealthy ingredients.

Increase your daily consumption of vegetables. You can’t have enough vegetables! Raw, steamed, in soups, whatever you can do to get more vegetables in your diet is a good thing. Vegetables are very important to losing weight around your stomach.

Limit how much fruit you eat. Many times when people are dieting they reach for fruit to satisfy hunger between meals. While fruit is good for you, it does contain a lot of sugar and if you want to lose weight you are better off limiting your fruit to 2 – 3 pieces a day.

Eat 4 – 6 small meals a day rather than 3 big ones, if possible. The intent is to stabilize your blood sugar level throughout the day. This will help you to lose weight. If you do try this, be sure you do not overeat, because it is easy to eat too many calories at each meal. Decide how much you want to eat for the whole day, then divide it up into individual meals.

Include protein, complex carbohydrates and good fats at every meal. Try not to eat meals that consist of only one or two of these. An example would be soup for lunch that has no protein.

Eliminate “bad” fats but be sure to eat “good” fats. Bad fats are butter, margarine, corn oil, canola oil, trans fats, and saturated fats. Good fats are olive oil, the omega 3 fats in some fish like salmon, avocados and nuts, especially walnuts. Even though a fat is “good” be conscious of how much you eat. Don’t overdo it!

Avoid all processed foods. These not only add a lot of calories, they are very high in sodium and unhealthy ingredients. High sodium intake can cause many health problems, but it can also cause you to retain water, which will make you bloated and feel fat. This is not what you want!

Drink plenty of fresh, pure water. At least 64 ounces a day. Every day! This will help keep your cells nourished and it’s important to eliminating toxins that are stored in your body that keep you fat. Also, don’t drink your calories. Soda, sweet tea, sports drinks, etc all contain sugar. Avoid artificial sweeteners also. They have been shown to make you gain weight.

Besides changing your diet, the best way to lose weight is to increase your level of physical activity. If you do not get a lot of exercise right now, start just by walking. Walk at least 30 minutes a day, and as you get more fit, you can add other more strenuous forms of exercise. For the best health, it is advised to get both cardio and strength building exercise. Weight bearing (strength building) exercise is also important to prevent osteoporosis.

I tried to give you a long list of options so you find something that works well for you. It is not essential to do ever one of these things, but the more you do, the healthier you will be and the better your chance of reaching your weight loss goal. The most important thing is to pick changes you can live with in the long run. Just control when and how much you eat. For long term success, make small changes, one at a time. Then once you are used to it, make another.

So instead of giving up or starving yourself, take control of your diet, your health, your body and your life by making healthier diet, exercise and lifestyle choices.

Good luck to you!

Joseph asks…

How can I lose weight easily?

Hey.
I’m 13 years old, and a male.
I weight between 140 and 150 lbs, and I am 5 feet 7 inches tall.

I’m at an average weight for my age and height, according to my doctor, but I’m unhappy with it.
I have a bit of flab, honestly, and it bugs me.
How can I lose weight?

I tried dieting, and it doesn’t work.
I can never really commit to an exercise/work out schedule. I just do it when I want, which is hardly ever.

weight loss cardiff answers:

Losing weight is frustrating. It’s tough to find a diet that actually works when most of the companies behind them don’t want you to lose weight at all. Because if you actually lose weight and keep it off, they lose a customer. But now there are weight loss solutions that are available that will help you to lose weight permanently without having to give up your favorite foods, do excessive exercise, or damage your body by denying it the fats, calories, carbohydrates and nutrition you need to function. You’ll lose weight fast the right way and keep the weight off for good. You’ll look and feel your best with a slim and firm waist line. You’ll turn heads, and get the attention you never imagined.
