If I was to start a weight loss blog how many people would follow it?

After having 2 kids I am struggling to get past my pre baby weight and down a dress size or 2. I need more motivation and feel that a weight loss blog would be a good idea so then people can see what I am doing etc.
Are there any sites like that out there now?

Thanks alot =)

To help peak the interest of others i suggest doing a daily photo thing, like the one in youtube where he took a photo of himself for 30 something years.

I assume you know this but beware internet people can be cruel

Your Question About Easy Weight Loss

Helen asks…

How many calories should I eat with exercise and trying to lose weight?

I have been trying to lose weight since April and have accomplished losing 30 lbs. I weigh 316 pounds and am 5’6″ tall. I am eating 1500 calories per day. I walk 10000 steps, or 2 to 3 miles per day. Should I eat more than 1500 calories to be healthy? I have been getting hungry pains in my stomach and have also been very tired lately. I am wondering if I am not taking in enough calories because of the number of calories I am burning. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

weight loss cardiff answers:

Firstly you can lose as much weight as you want in a short time period, however, you will gain it back. I am speaking from experience from someone who has been there done that with fad diets. There is the obvious liposuction, however, the recovery time is 3 – 6 months and it sounds as though that you’re in a rush to lose the weight for possibly an event with no downtime to spare. I am and have been on weight watchers for 2 years and lost 25 lbs. It was a slow and steady race, however, I haven’t gained the weight back ‘cause my diet has been stabilized and so was the weight loss from 0.5 – 1 lb/week.

Remember the weight gain didn’t happen overnight, it happened slowly over time, the same is with proper healthy weight loss, you can’t have/perform miracles over night.

These are some things that I do.

1.Drink lots of water as it kept me full longer.
2.Used an appetite suppressant like hoodie to make sure I don’t go over my daily calorie intake.
3.Did cardio and toning 3 – 4 times a week.
4.Made meal and recipe modifications as I cooked.
5.When I dined out, I made sure that I wasn’t shy about asking the kitchen to make modifications like dressing/sauce on the side, half portion ordered the kids meal etc.
6.Brushing teeth after every meal, the mint acts like an appetite suppressant and without the taste in your mouth, you can easily forget about the food.
7.Never drank diet cola, the aspartame actually made me crave food more for some reason.
8.At work I take a break before lunch and either take the stairs in the building or just general toning without weights. We have a gym at work so I do about 15 minutes of weights which not only gets my blood flowing but releases tension from a**hole customers.
9.Bought snacks in bulk (to save money) and properly measured what a cup or portion was and made individual baggies. There are some snacks on the market that are 100 calorie snacks, however, I find those to be too expensive than just buying in bulk and separating the portions yourself. Also by physically separating them yourself, you get an idea of what a portion is supposed to be and you learn to properly eye ball correct portions.

Charles asks…

What is the fastest way to lose weight in a month or two?

I’m not looking for the dumb sarcastic answers like, Chop an arm off!, I would like to know how to maximize my weight loss naturally and possibly what foods help people lose weight. I am going to try out Weight Watchers tomorrow, so I am hoping that will help. If you can’t say something nice, please don’t answer. Thanks!

The following healthy living recommendations will help you if you’re trying to lose weight, tone up your muscles, have aspirations of building lean muscle mass, are attempting to get a wash board stomach, or just want to feel better:

*1) Burn more calories then you’re consuming everyday and measure your results using the following formula: Calories Consumed minus Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) minus Physical Activity minus the Thermic Effect of Food (TEF). A website that explains this formula in more detail and will help you determine how many calories you need to reach or maintain a certain weight is at http://www.primusweb.com/fitnesspartner/library/weight/calsburned.htm

Get an online, desktop, or cell phone diet and fitness calculator. This will allow you to easily calculate the above formula, set goals, log your daily calorie consumption, and register your physical activities.

Set realistic goals for your ideal body weight. Here are two websites that will calculate a suggested body weight:
Adults: http://www.halls.md/ideal-weight/body.htm
Teens/Children: http://www.kidshealth.org/kid/exercise/weight/bmi.html

It is difficult and unhealthy to lose more than one or two pounds per week. There are 3,500 calories in a pound. If you eat 500 fewer calories per day for a week you will lose one pound. If you burn through exercise 500 more calories per day for a week you will lose one pound.

*2) Eat natural and organic foods found on earth versus something created by a corporation to make money. Eat meals in small portions throughout the day and take a good multi-vitamin supplement.

Do not try fad diets or diet pills. Avoid “High Glycemic Load Carbs” (sugar, pastries, desserts, refined starches such as breads, pasta, refined grains like white rice; high starch vegetables such as potatoes) and drink lots of water. Read this article for more information on high GL Carbs:

Firstly u should be rock hard to gain ur goals. And dont be demotivated if u dont get results. Just push on….!!!! So, first try to change little things like not eating unhealthy and try some exercises.
1.Go for a long running session or cycle early morning.
2.After this, eat breakfast like oats or cornflakes with some fruits
3.Avoid foods like pizzas n ol. And depend upon fruits, veggies .
4.When free at home, try doing skipping. Like skip 250 times a day, and gradually increase the skips.
Doing all this will surely make u thin. Just think where u wanna reach and go for it with ur all will….!!!! All the best.! Thnx. Yeeeeehaw….!!!! 🙂

Weight loss plans? Muscle building?

Hi, I am a 16 year old male and I do want to lose a little weight but my main concern is in my building muscle. I want to have a fit physique. I know it isn’t easy but I am willing to do anything for this, I really just want to be in better shape. So if anyone has any meal plans for me to eat. I am not a picky eater and I can eat the same thing over again. So what I really want is a meal plan and a exercise plan that works. Fast as possible. I really want this and I am so excited to do this! Thanks so much for anyone who helps me. Please use lots of detail maybe personal experience.

Betty asks…

has anyone tried or know someone who has tried the “weight watchers” weight loss plan?

I am planning on joining weight watchers next week with a friend. i was wondering if anyone had success or failure stories while on the plan. Is it easy to follow? How much weight did you lose and at what rate? Expensive? are the results long lasting? I’m also gonna excersise as well so i hope i get decent results at least by summer

weight loss cardiff answers:

I was on WW last year and it was wonderful. The meetings are about $10 per week. You don’t have to buy all their candy bars and diet books. I would recommend buying the starter pack though. It has dining out guides, points slider, exerciser slider and weekly tips. I lost 6 pounds my first week. I used the points system rather then core. It will work for you. And you will get results. Have faith in yourself. They also don’t weigh you in front of everyone and embarrass you. It’s well worth it. If you choose not to go to the meetings you can still do it at home. The meetings are more for support. You still buy your own food at the store. Tip: Lots of water, and Lean Cuisines. Plus you can still eat out, just count the points. Good luck to you.

Your Question About Easy Weight Loss

Mark asks…

Please help!!! Does anyone out there know why the Diet of Worms was significant?

Where Martin Luther defended the principles of the Christian Reformation. Why was this significant to the Christian Reformation?
Thanks!!!

weight loss cardiff answers:

The Diet of Worms, it is most memorable for addressing Martin Luther and the effects of the Protestant Reformation. Emperor Charles V demanded that Martin Luther recant his beliefs and reaffirm his faith with the Catholic Church.

Luther’s refusal to recant struck to the heart of the Church’s authority and paved the way for the Reformation.

Donna asks…

Have you ever had a diet of worms ?

not the historical one.

weight loss cardiff answers:

No who the hell does that? That’s disgusting

David asks…

why was Martin Luther was declared an outlaw and a heretic by the Diet of Worms.?

help?

weight loss cardiff answers:

Martin Luther wrote that salvation comes by grace instead of the sacraments of the Catholic church. He especially came out against indulgences. He was allowed to recant, but he didn’t. So he was excommunicated from the Catholic Church. This was better treatment then some received who had the same ideas. John Hus was martyred.
