One: You can eat very healthy . Such as fruits, vegetables , and so on . I know this seems very hard. The catch is that you can pick one day where you can eat whatever you want. But on that day you do not over do it . Also you while you eat healthy you have to do exercise . You don’t have to exercise every single day but maybe 3 or 4 times a week .

Two : Have you ever heard of Herbal Life ? Well thats another thing you can use . It cost some money though. But it really works. My friend was using it and in 2 months she lost about 20 pounds. This is how it works . You have to buy several things of herbal life though. Theres this thing where you eat for breakfast & diner . For lunch you eat anything you want . Then before you go to sleep you drink the tea. There is also a water that you drink . This is all the process of herbal life. Very simple . :]

I am 13 year old girl 5’1 and 127 pounds. i would like to be down to 115. i do not have any money to go buying different diet plans. i have been exercising 4 times a week and buying salad instead of cafeteria food for lunch. i haven’t lost a single pound and i have been doing this for 2 weeks. does anyone know a free diet/exercise plan that is very specific and can be used for a teenage girl?

You should try eating more (not the pizza) around 1900 calories a day. Try exercising 6 days a week for one hour and 30 minutes by powerwalking at an incline. Dont drink soda and eat mcdonalds. Dont eat too little that could be your problem

I go on diet plans to lose some body fat but my muscles end up shrinking!

I have a solid weightlifting plan but I have no idea why I’m my muscles are looking smaller and why my fat percent hasn’t gone down.

You might be mixing cardio and weightlifting on the same day, which is terrible for toning up and/or gaining mass.

Cardiovascular exercises are catabolic, which burns down muscle and fat for fuel. Notice how long distant runners are skinny.

If you are doing cardio in the middle or after your weightlifting, it will be using your already worn down muscles for fuel, which makes your entire lifting efforts done for nothing and unable to grow.

If you shall do cardio during your workouts, dedicated a day solely to cardio, or do very light cardio before your workouts with minimal effort and exertion.

Personally, I would do no more than a mile at walking speed before my lifts if I must do cardio.

Be sure to eat 5 small meals a day. Make breakfast your biggest meal. EX: Breakfast, AM snack, Lunch, PM snack, Dinner. It will boost your immune system.

Eat lots of veggies. Lean meats (fish, turkey & chicken) Watch your portions. You can use meal replacements too for your breakfast, lunches and dinner. Snacks can be an apple, handful of almonds.
If you skip out on meals, your body wil go into starvation mode. Which means, it won’t burn anything from your fat cells for energy. It will just store more fat everytime you eat. Very important to stick with eating 5 meals a day.

Lots of cardio to lose fat. Be sure to lift weights too. If you can lose fat you can get saggy loose skin. Lifting weights can help prevent that. Start off by walking 30 minutes 3-5 times a weeks until you build up stamina.

“if you want to be lean, eat clean” (Basically God made foods, no processed stuff)

FYI: Drink lots of water. Whatever you weigh now divide it by 2. That’s how many ounces of water you should drink a day. Fat leaves your body in your urine.

Well it depends on what kind of diet you go on. I would say it’s most likely you will gain some of that weight back but if you work out and exercise you will definiely keep some of it off. And then more will slowly come off! =)

How many inches is one pound of fat?

I am 13 years old, 5 foot 1 3/4 inches tall, weigh 137 lbs. My waist is 29 inches, hips 34 inches. I would like to know how many pounds overweight I am. I’m not super fat, I just wanna get rid of my muffin top. I’m also JUST in the group of an unhealthy BMI- a BMI of 25.1. I’ve started to TRY to exercise more (90 minutes of Bikram Yoga once weekly, Kickboxing Tuesday and Thursday). If I can I go to the gym once or twice, I will, jogging 45 minutes at 5.0 with an incline of 3.0. I try to jump rope 30 minutes a day when not going to the gym, however it usually comes out to 15 minutes. Not ideal.

I’m attempting to eat right, aiming for 1200-1400 calories a day, however I usually consume about 1400-1800 daily. I eat a big breakfast: A vanilla yogurt with cheerios and some strawberries inside. If I can remember, I’ll have a glass of warm water and lemon juice. I think it’s the snacks that get to me. I don’t really like potato chips and soda, but crackers and carbohydrates. A usual lunch I make is: One ounce of snack stuff (pita chips, popcorn, organic cheese puffs), a cup of pasta (whole wheat if available) with olive oil and parmesan cheese. A power bar. 1/2 cup of fruit of some sort. Some other snack-type thing. MAYBE something sweet. I usually drink about 4 cups of water daily, trying to drink 8. At dinner I usually have something like chicken with rice. But I think I eat to much then. I don’t usually have dessert.

I want to be able to be (more) confident in my body, not dread pool parties and swim class. And, I was recently cast as Adelaide from Guys and Dolls in a musical. That means skimpy costumes. Lots of leg. Whoopee. The show starts on May 24. Do you think I can get skinnier by then?

Any tips, tricks…?

And I’m not “obsessed” with a model image, celeb body, being super skinny. It’s not me. And I will be seeking my doctor’s opinion in about a month.

One thing i noticed, you said 1 cup of pasta: that’s 2 servings. 1/2 cup is one serving.
Eat more at lunch, eat slower so your body can respond and tell you when you’re full.
The cardio is very good for fat loss, add some pilates and yoga to lengthen and tone your muslces as well.

OK first off I need you all to know that I do not want to hear anyone trying to talk me out of this. I am 19, i eat like CRAP meaning awful foods, and at completely inconstant timings… I have no set boundaries in my diet. Some how I manage to be 5′ 10″, 125 lbs, my measurements are b- 31″ w- 24″ and h-36… This is very border line for the limits in my profession (modeling) I could definitely afford to have a healthier lifestyle, and I NEED the 2 inches off of my hips!!! I want the inches off by December. I assume it is harder for already thin people to loose weight, and I do have fat it isn’t all muscle or anything. I want to hear everything anyone can offer to me. Diets, easy exercise plans, words of motivation. I have a lifestyle that doesn’t give me a ton of spare time, and I am always traveling which makes finding a gym difficult, so the easier and funner the better. I am ready to take my body to the next level, I just am fighting this awful addiction to bad foods, the more I think about it the more I want them and I feel like I am even gaining wait at this point. i spend a lot of my day walking from casting to casting. I want to loose the weight healthily and make a lifestyle of it although I am open to hearing “get skinny” tricks, I likely won’t use them (they freak me out) but I enjoy the information.

Running is one of the easiest ways to tone up your lower half and can be done anywhere at any time. You don’t need a gym. And since HK has plenty of hills, you will burn even more calories than if you were running on flat ground

As for eating, do not deny yourself anything or you will end up binging. It’s all about balance. The easiest thing to do is to make sure you eat servings of at least 5 different fruits and vegetables every day. If you remember that simple rule you’ll lose weight and help cut down on junk food. If you know you want pizza for lunch or the restaurant you are going to for dinner has the best chocolate cake, then you eat mainly fruits and vegetables for your other meals. So have that pizza for lunch but breakfast should be a fruit salad (2 servings of fruit) with nonfat plain yogurt, have a side salad with your pizza, and make sure you have vegetables at dinner or snack only on fruits or vegs.

Also keep a food diary and write down EVERYTHING you eat no matter how big or small. If you have to write it down you are going to think twice about eating junk food

I know a woman who lost 60 pounds a month on it. She did nothing else!

Can I still lose weight if I keep eating around 800 calories a day?

I am 5ft 6in and now 174 pounds. I have been on a 800 calorie diet for a week. This was just to kick start my weight loss and I lost 4-5 pounds. I am aware that my metabolism will slow down. I dont know whether I should keep eating 800 calories a day or increase it. If I increase my calorie intake to a healthier but still fast weightloss rate, how can I do so without gaining weight and ensuring I can still lose weight easily on a higher number of calories?
Any advice would be great thanks. I must mention that I am very busy and sit down all day and at this moment in time I can’t fit exercise into my lifestyle. Thanks

800 calories is not enough. Your body will try to turn everything it can into fat, and you won’t lose the fat you already have.

You should be eating at LEAST 1200 calories, probably more for your size.

All girls including myself think we are overweight but in all honest ask someone instead of the mirror…

I know i don’t look fat but i see the numbers on the scale and i ask the mirror

those are bad choices

but if you want to loose weight watch what you eat eat small meals more often say five or six times a day and eat healthy

and second don’t worry about it stress makes it harder to loose weight and affects so much more than just the worry lines on your forehead
