Your Question About Easy Weight Loss

John asks…

Trying to get back into shape, anyone please help, Need to lose gut?

Okay first off a little background on me: I’m a 19 year old 6’3″ maybe 6′-4″ guy, used to play football (Tight End) and used to be in fairly good shape, i’m not gonna say i was super cut or anything, i wasn’t, but i could take my shirt off at the beach and look good. At my best i weighed about 220-225 with if i remember correctly 7% body fat. i had like virtually no gut. i didn’t have abs, no six pack, just like maybe a 4 pack at best but still lean and in shape. Now, i weigh 230 and have a pretty large gut, which obviously means i lost a lotta muscle mass and gained bodyfat. I’ve been trying to get back into shape, and my strength is back to how it was when i was an athlete, i bench more now, have bigger arms and a big back, etc, but still i cant rid of this dam gut. I used to be able to do hundreds of situps and jacknives and all sorts of ab exercises while holding a 25lb plate for resistance, but now i cant do more than 40 sit ups without getting a massive cramp.

Can anybody help me? i have like 5 weeks to tone down a little before my gf’s birthday, i know not to expect a miracle or anything but i am eating healthy, lifting weights, and doing cardio also.

Any tips to help me flatten my belly and also maybe help build strength and endurance in my abs so i dont cramp up so easily?

I’m also going to start going to a dance class in a few weeks and i think core endurance would be helpful in that too

If it’s of any importance, I’m currently on Kre-Alkalyn and also i drink Gold Standard 100% whey protein

Also, im not able to respond to post because for some reason Yahoo answers only lets me ask questions but i can’t reward best answer or anything, please if your going to answer do it out of generosity and not for the points please. Thank You

Charles asks…

I have lost all my friends, and my only friend left is yahoo answers….?

Lately i feel very, depressed, i hate the world, i hate myself, i hate everything. The source for this hate?
List:
* Im fat, im 16, 5″6 tall, and i weight 175 pounds, my moobs are bigger than a girls at my age
* I think im ugly…at times i think i look decent and with weight loss i could look great, but i at times feel so ugly and just shrug it off thinking “just a bad day today”
* iv never had a girl, so which supports ^ that, and i really badly want one
* my stupid haircut, which is a buzzcut, makes me look awkward, i miss my old “shag”, or “justin bieber” hairstyle
* supposdely my head is realyl big -.-
* my skin turns too dark in teh summer, but during winter, it is normal, it is like white peoples when they go tanning but just a tad bit darker
* I suck at all sports
* I play on the computer too much and cant stop this addiction
* I get tired far to easily
* I hate studying, yet i want to be a doctor
* I forget God, and I feel he forgot me
* All i do is eat, sleep, play video games, do a few chores, masturbate, and thats it
* I want to stop my dirty pornography and masturbation habit, i literally lick my ipod when im horny looking at a girl
* i want to change my life, but dont know how to start
* I cant do any kind of excersise due to fasting (Ramadan), and i get mad tired and mad hungry and binge eat,

weight loss cardiff answers:

I’ll answer this by going down your list of things you hate about yourself:

*You can lose weight, and probably will if your fasting, 5″6 is a bit short for a man but then again a boy i know gets a lot of female attention and is that height.

*Everybody thinks they’re ugly at some point when they’re 16, you aren’t you should enjoy being young.

*There is no problem with never having a girlfriend at 16, do you realise how young you are?! Seriously a lot of my friends didn’t lose they’re virginity til they were like 20, despite telling people different, so don’t believe everything you hear. And as a bit of advice don’t say things like ‘i havent had a girl’ because women don’t like being known as someones ‘girl’.

*grow your hair again,or learn to love the hair you have, everyone gets bad haircuts they just live through them.

*I doubt you have a big head, kids are cruel.

*There is no such thing as ‘my skin is to dark’ tbh pale people have the same problem where they are to pale in winter, learn to love yourself.

*Have you actually tried practising at sports, or tried once in P.E then give up? Everyone’s good with practise.

*Having will power will probably stop your addiction, things don’t happen without effort.

*You get tired because of your lifestyle.

*Everybody hates studying, you have to try.

*Let God in again, if you believe in him and what religion says he shouldnt ever forget you.

*Then get some friends and go out. Or do something and get a hobby, perhaps sport when your not fasting so you can get better?

*Then stop it. People on here cannot help you stop it, you have to do it yourself.

*You can start on whichever one of these bullet points you want, starting a new hobby will probably be the best pick-me-up.

*HAVE WILLPOWER AND STOP YOURSELF, plenty of other people can so why cant you?

I hate to be nasty here but seriously, you sound lazy, and nobody on here can actually help you. If you want to stop this, then have some willpower and try. Nothing comes easily, and things aren’t just going to come to you because you want them to. Welcome to the real world.

I hope you take this advice and start trying, and stop expecting other people to sort it out.

More match type ideas (rate them 0-10)!?

I’ve already shown a few match type ideas here on the WS, which were the Rubik’s Cube Match, the Reverse DQ Match and the All or Nothing Match, which you can check out on this page:

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AqCJAkqJO1Lpebw6UzePk8nty6IX;_ylv=3?qid=20110903063726AA0Wvov

Now, i’ve got more fresh ideas, so what do you think of each:

– 7 DEADLY SINS MATCH: A 7-men elimination match that really defines the meaning of hardcore. Before the match, every Superstar involved is (in backstage skits) draft-picked one of the 7 Deadly Sins: greed, lust, wrath, invy, gluttony, pride and sloth. To eliminate the opponents and become the winner, each Superstars has to perform “tasks” related to the Sin they were draft-picked:
– The Superstar whose Sin was greed, has to collect the opponent’s blood with a bucket and drew it on one of six 2 feet meters until its completely filled;
– The Superstar whose Sin was lust, has to score a pin/submission on one of his opponents and touch a golden switch placed in the entrance area within a minute;
– The Superstar whose Sin was wrath, has to break 5 weapons in the opponent’s head with no interruption;
– The Superstar whose Sin was invy, has to score a pin/submission over the opponent who has the most accomplishments of all, then the one with the 2nd most accomplishents, and so on;
– The Superstar whose Sin was gluttony, has to put the opponent through one of six stacked tables filled with lots of food, cakes, beer, etc.;
– The Superstar whose Sin was pride, has to put a mask on the opponent and lock him into one of six mirror-houses;
– The Superstar whose Sin was sloth, has to tie an opponent into one of the ring posts, with the intent of him staying tied and not moving for 15 seconds.

– PLATFORM MATCH: I consider this one as a sort-of variant of the Ladder Match. 10 feel poles are placed in each corner of the ring, and on top of them, there’s a diving board/trampoline. Hanged up 12/13 feet in the air is an platform, which contains the title/object on it. To take possession of object and win, the wrestlers have to jump from the diving board/trampoline into the platform, grab the object and touch the ring with both feet and with the object on his possession. Expect huge spots and non-stop action on this one.

– TERRITORY MATCH: A team battle. No desqualifications, no count out, no pinfalls. The ring will be “divided in half”, with each half being each team’s territory. To win, you have to make your opponent tap out on your team’s territory, with trying to avoid the enemy’s territory the most possible. And yes, opponents can stop the submission attempt. A true war to determine one team’s top dog… and one team’s weakest link.

– MASTERMIND MATCH: This one is a true challenge for your mind. Takes place inside a steel cage. 10 different colours are added to the cage’s walls, and one of them is the weak link. In fact, it is so weak it could break down easily with the weight of a midget. The rules are as simple: to win, you have to throw the opponent into the weak side of the cage and have both feet touch solid ground (kinda like a Steel Cage Battle Royal). You have 4 attempts to find the weak link by throwing your opponent into one of the colours. If in one of those 4 attempts you find the weak link and the guy’s both feet touch the ground, you win. If both feet DON’T touch the ground in 10 seconds, the match continues under pinfall/submission rules. And if you don’t find the weak link, but if your opponent does and both of your feet touch ground, you lose. If both of you don’t find the weak link, the match is a draw. Who is the mastermind?

Rate each match 0-10!

weight loss cardiff answers:

The Seven Deadly Sins match sounds like something out of WCW. It’s too contrived, and you don’t know how to spell envy apparently so it’s a no go for me. 2-10

The Platform Match reminds me somewhat of a Scaffold Match, but I’d dare say that Scaffold Matches were much safer than what you’re suggesting. It sounds a lot like an episode of Nickelodeon’s Guts or Battledome. Anybody remember either of those shows? 2-10

Territory Match sounds contrived, but out of all of your ideas it’s one that I like the most, which isn’t saying much. It’s still a bit too silly for my taste. 5-10

Mastermind Match: Too contrived, but I’ve had similar, more simplistic ideas for matches. I can’t even fully comprehend what you’re trying to get across for this gimmick. 1-10

In closing, less is sometimes more in wrestling. If you put too many rules into a match (once again proven countless times in WCW) even the people involved start to get confused. KISS, it’s not just a band.

Your Question About Easy Weight Loss

John asks…

Does anyone have true weight loss success stories to tell, without using diet pills?

Hi i am a 24 yr old woman, with 2 young children 4 and 2, I would like to loose 15 kilo’s, that would make me be my “ideal” weight, the problem is i dont really have the money or time to go to the gym, nor do i have money for diet pills, Once i did try Duromine 15mg and that did work great i lost weight with it, but had to stop using them due to anxiety, so can anyone help me by telling me how much excersise should i do daily and what should i eat for my 3 main meals, Real answers Please.
Thankyou so Much 🙂
The quicker i can loose it the better for me lol

weight loss cardiff answers:

Unfortunately there is no great, fast solution to lose weight fast that will keep it off long term.

You just need to adapt your lifestyle too a healthier one.

Make sure you eat breakfast, and make it your biggest meal of the day – eat a mid morning, and mid afternoon healthy snack. Eat lean meats and lots of vegies, steam or grill your food, only use a litlle or go without dressing and sauces.
Don’t eat anything after about 8pm. And lay off soft drinks etc. But drink lots of water which also makes you feel fuller.

If you don’t have time to exercise, make your life an exercise. Power walk to the shops, get your heart rate up, pushing a pram can be good for this. When putting the clothes on the line, put the washing basket at one end of the backyard, do short sprints between it and the clothesline.

Just a couple of examples but you get the idea…

Good luck

weight loss success stories?

hey! I’m trying to lose 15 pounds. I would love to hear any of your weight loss stories. what did you do? and holw long did it take you to achieve your goals?? I would love to hear your stories! Thanks so much!

weight loss cardiff answers:

Well, I decided when my husband filed for divorce,that I would control what I could control, so I decided to run when I felt stressed. Needless to say, I ran daily, and I had to force myself to take a rest day. One year later, I decided to eat healthy foods only for 8 week (with 4 squares of chocolate, as long as I only ate 1800 calories and I exercised for 1 hr a day).By the end of 8 weeks, I didn’t feel hungry, I lose 2 lbs a week, for a 12 lb. Loss, so I stayed with it. I have flat abs and I wore a bikini for the first time in 15 yrs. I must have looked good, I didn’t open one door. Lol

Your Question About Easy Weight Loss

Michael asks…

fast, easy weight loss tips.?

i have asked many qustins like this and havent gottne the answer i wanted yet. heres my situation. i dont like the way i look and really wanna look pretty for the begiing of the new year. the thing is i can cook, but the things that turn out well are limited. i dont have great stamina so i can run but i can dance. i also do DDR which is good. i would rather have a strict easy diet that will help me loose weight. anything and everythign is appreciated.

weight loss cardiff answers:

1.Set goals. You’ll be better able to make a realistic weight loss plan if you know how much weight you want to lose.
2.Identify your weaknesses. Are you a bread fiend? Do you have dessert after every meal and every snack? Is McDonald’s your second home? Find the weakness and throttle it. It does not own you, you are stronger and cooler than to allow some silly little craving to knock you off your path.
3.Throw away anything you know is tempting. Those cinnamon buns with 500 calories each? Gone. The ramen noodles in your cabinet? Gone. The problem is that this is not always feasible. Often times we are not the only ones in our homes and therefore the call of the food must be withstood. In this case, out of sight truly is out of mind. Put unhealthy, unfilling foods in a drawer or in a cabinet that you rarely use. Put them all together to make a particularly unappetizing sight. Don’t place them all in a decorative basket out on the counter. Place them in a drawer. A drawer heaping with pastries rarely looks like anything but a drawer of fat.
4.Eat less, but eat more often. If possible, eat 4-5 meals a day. This helps your metabolism and blood sugar to stay level as well. This does require a change in your schedule. Eat less within 6 hours of your bed time. You’re less likely to burn the calories closer to your bed time. It’s fine to eat a large breakfast and lunch because your body will be working on burning those calories for the whole day. Large dinners are likely to go unburned and converted into fat.
5.Do not skip breakfast. If you don’t have time to prepare breakfast, buy healthy breakfast bars or those smoothies on the go. It is important to eat breakfast to jump start your metabolism and give you energy for the day. Otherwise you will probably end up falling back on unhealthy foods during the day. Yogurt is also known to boost your metabolism.
6.Eat healthy snacks when you feel hungry between meal times. Healthy snacks would be things high in fiber, fruits and vegetables. Avoid high sugar and high calorie snacks. This will help you get nutrients as well as help lower your appetite so you won’t overeat during meals.
7.Increase your fiber intake. Fiber acts as negative calories. It’s also filling and healthy for your digestive system. Make it a part of every meal.
8.Eat slowly and chew more. Take time to enjoy your meals. This will help you to finish at the same time as others, and you’ll not be tempted by a second helping. Also, chewing more will ensure you get the most out of all the food and it will be digested faster. The more you chew, the more your appetite will be satiated.
9.Drink more water every day. Stay hydrated. While you don’t need 8 cups of water a day to stay hydrated, it’ll make sure you’re hydrated as well as cut down on your hunger levels and force you to get a little bit more exercise (trips to the sink, water cooler, water fountain, and bathroom). If you’re a heavy soda drinker, permit yourself to only one diet soda per day, maximum. Just one extra soda each day can add 15 pounds. Recently, fizzy drinks, even diet ones, have been said to slow down metabolism.
10.Increase physical activity. There are two ways to reduce net caloric intake: 1) reduce the number of calories in your diet and 2) Increase the number of calories that you burn in your daily activities. Both approaches are usually necessary and healthful and both are effective in losing weight. You can pick and choose which exercise you want to do, depending on your fitness level and drive. For example: walking, jogging, using the stair stepper, using cross training machines, swimming, tennis, and basketball. Weight training (and resistance training) can help reshape your body. The more muscle you have the higher your metabolism will be.
11.Find active friends. Find people that will drag you out to do more active things. It doesn’t have to be much, but any exercise even walking around the mall is better than none.
12.Don’t get discouraged. After one or two weeks of initial weight loss, it is quite common for your metabolism to slow down as it adjusts to the new calorie count. Stay on course and you’ll see results. In some cases, the scale will tell you your weight is barely changing, but you may be gaining muscle weight while losing fat weight. Also make sure to weigh yourself first thing in the morning to try to avoid the fluctuations in weight due to water.
13.Take all advice with a grain of salt. Everyone is going to have some tidbit of information for you. What worked for them might not work for you. Take it all in stride and work with what is getting results for you. Trying to do everything everyone says will only cause overload.
14.Eat more protein. If you choose to go this route, do not cut out all carbs. If you do so, as soon as you start eating carbs again you will regain your weight back. Instead of eating stand alone pasta, throw some meatballs or chicken in. Eat some beans, they are high in protein and very healthy for you. Increase the ammount of protein, but not by too much. The more protein you take in, the more water you should drink as well.
15.Eat less calories. The average woman should eat around 2,000 calories a day and the average male 2,500. There’s many ways to reduce the calories you intake. Try not to eat frozen dinners, pizza, or from fast food joints. There’s also certain drinks, such as Green Tea that are calorie reducers. Lettuce is another calorie reducer, but be careful because dressing tends to have the calories. Low fat/light vinnegette, balsomic vineger, red wine and vineger are pretty healthy dressings, but do not load it on.

weight loss diets for vegans?

like a diet plan for fast and easy weight loss

weight loss cardiff answers:

Vegans usually are not overweight…. Just undernourished. There is no such thing as fast and east weight loss… Especially if you are already a vegan. The only correct way is to count calories and get more exercise than calories… Then you lose weight.

Where to buy real hCG diet weight loss drops?

I’m currently in preparation for the hCG diet. I want to loose 50lbs by new years. I would like to know a few things from people who have used hCG in the past. Where to buy real hCG diet drops? Please specify what brand of you used. How to make the diet easier? Any good recipes and foods to eat with the hCG diet would be helpful as well.

weight loss cardiff answers:

I tried Green Web HCG about 6 months ago and did not have a good experience at all. After sharing my experiences on a weight loss forum someone recommended Pharmaslim HCG and directed me to their blog where they recorded all of they’re meals and weigh-ins day by day while using Pharmaslim. I was impressed so i ordered a bottle in April and dropped 25 lbs in the first 42 day cycle. It’s one of the only hCG weight loss formulas available that offers a money back guarantee. Highly recommended, just be sure to prepare yourself for the diet, believe me it can be very hard to limit yourself to 500 calories per day.
