What fat burning/diet pills are safe to use along with exercise?

I understand a lot of people say that it’s pathetic to take diet pills or fat burning pills without exercise because most of it is made of caffeine. I am 17 years old and I play football, I want to really reduce my body fat percentage. I have been gaining weight because I have an ankle injury and I cannot exercise on it a lot. can i lose fat/any weight without exercise?

I eat about 1,300 calories already, so if i only eat about 1,000 calories a day and eat very healthily everyday will i lose weight? I dont get sugar cravings, and if i eat this meal plan will i lose weight? Also i get filled up pretty easily because i eat slow and drink water and tea through out the whole day.

Breakfast: 7am
Home made oatmeal or egg whites with a whole wheat toast

Mid-Morning snack if hungry: 10am
Hummus and veggies or 45 calorie yogurt

Lunch: 12pm
Fresh chicken sandwich with hummus

Afternoon snack: 3pm
hummus and veggies. (im love my hummus)

Dinner: 6pm
Salad with lots of veggies
chicken breast
corn on the cob

Will i lose any weight if i stick with this?

You will oh so slowly lose weight and without building muscle you will be a skinny fat person, just in waiting to put it back on and then some. Look at people, look at people who are thin and then look at lean people with toned and well developed muscles, thin is nothing compared to a healthy strong body

I am also overweight, and have been ever since I can remember. I have a condition that makes me very tired and exhausted easily, which means I can’t go running as a form of exercise, or anything like that. So I tried instead to cut down my meal size, and only ate when I was hungry. This shrunk my stomach, but I didn’t loose any weight. I have now started yoga and a few mins of cardio every day, so lets say 20-30 mins of relaxation/muscle stretching and a little mini workout everyday. I am definately feeling better about myself, and working up a sweat!! I would really recommend looking at yoga on the net. It is easy and you can do it in your own home, and it very effective as exercise to loose weight.

Try eating half the portion size you already eat. Yes you might be hungry, but half of the ‘modern’ portion size is all you need. Obviously keep a balanced diet, and you could try counting calories, and calculating the calories you burn off each day by exercising. I’m sure there are things in the net that can help you. If the calories you eat in a day are more than you burn off in a day, avoid the higher level calorie foods.

My doc said this as a guide to food labels: for every 100g on a label, you don’t want to be going over 10g of saturated fat for every item that you eat. Also, try and eat things that are below 500 calories.

I have learned over the many years of trying to lose weight that there is *NO* secret to losing it, and no easy way of doing it. You just have to control your diet, and exercise, even if it be a little everyday.

Almost everything I look at ( what your supposed to eat, recipes etc.) says to eat meat/fish at least once a day for protein to help you lose weight. I’m 24 yrs old and weighing in at 235lbs. I try to lose weight and so far nothing has helped. There’s nothing wrong with me medically. I joined Weight Watchers and have a gym membership but nothing has helped. I want to lose the weight and actually be able to run for at least half an hour non stop. Currently I cannot run for two minutes without stopping. I’m looking for any advice to help lose the weight and start running; maybe a routine that has helped you.

Though I’m a girl, I started out pretty darned pudgy and unable to run if my life depended on it. Managed to lose about 30 lbs down to 115 (and I’m fairly short, so that’s a solid difference). Start by running for two minutes and walking for a few. Once you’ve caught your breath, run for two minutes again. Keep doing this for about 45-60 mins. The next time you go running, push it to three minutes before trying to catch your breath again. You can keep pushing it up more and more over the next few months. You should also work on eating more lean foods instead of things heavy in carbs. Just because you worked out doesn’t mean you have free reign to eat anything you want.

I used to barely be able to jog slowly for a mile, so far this year I’ve done four half marathons (all around 8:30 miles) and 2 sprint triathlons, and actually won my age group in the last one (though it was a fairly small one, but I like to forget that part!)

Great.i was a pescetarian myself some years ago..take steamed fish with oatmeal for dinner(you may season it with pepper and a drizzle of sesame oil, and do add eggplants and carrots by the side)…do stick to your regular dose of veggies n fruit…do keep a limit on soy products because too much soy raises estrogen in your blood and that will be enough to limit your body from burning excess fat..if you are a woman trying to get pregnant or simply a person who appreciates high metabolism,please take my advice seriously. Progesterone is a female hormone that exists in men too, but the testicles can convert it to testosterone.High testosterone/Progesterone levels improve metabolism and also improve the alertness of the brain..estrogen isnt like that..it is dangerous if it is in high density in your blood..and the bad news is that the strength of estrogen raises when there is too much sugar in the blood OR TOO MUCH FAT IN THE BODY. Estrogen dominance is the root of all weight loss problems…there are no foods on earth to induce progesterone, so the only way to cut down estrogen in the blood is via regular exercise. The reason all the other diets, diet foods, organic foods, healthy foods, medicines and all the rest don’t work in this modern technologically-amazing age is because they were deliberately designed not to!

I dont want to repeat myself constantly, or go on another rant of how messed up our world is – but it is a shame and people need to WAKE UP and realise what is going on. The diet industry makes billions out of insecure people and they want to keep it that way.

Every year we are sold diet products that do not work. I hope people reading this really think about what I am saying here, just do a simple youtube search and find out for yourself.

Btw, the people telling you to eat less are wrong, well not wrong but their not helping! You need to eat less but more often (six meals a day instead of three) this will get your matabolism up^^ and will actually help burn off fat 🙂
