Your Question About Easy Weight Loss

Donald asks…

How can I lose my weight easily?

How can I lose my weight easily? Im a 13 years old boy, and i want to remove my fat. Please Suggest me what to do daily to lose weight easily and how much I would lose in 2 months. I want to look good when school comes.

weight loss cardiff answers:

First off, start by eating healthier. Eat mostly fruits and vegetables, with plenty of protein, fiber and carbohydrates. A good trick to not eat so much is to not pile food on your plate over one inch high, and not to finish everything on your plate. Also, stay away from foods high in sugar, salt, preservatives, and fat. This means limiting or cutting out all chips, sodas, cake, ice cream, pizza, french fries, hot dogs, or anything fried. Instead, go for a salad, something grilled, veggies, fruit, and drink lots of water.
For snacks, I recommend non-fat yogurt, fruits like grapes, oranges, and bananas, or low calorie gum. The snacks will come in handy if you start getting hungry and need a snack, to prevent possible binging later. Switch your carbohydrates to whole wheat, and switch over to lean meat, such as fish. Try to keep your food as natural as possible.
Also, don’t forget to count your calories. This will help you in keeping a careful eye on what you’re eating.
As for working out and exercising, I recommend doing a variety of all sorts of activities, like jumproping, jumping jacks, hula hooping, crunches, situps, pullups, pushups, planks, jackknives, stretching, lifting weights, yoga, pilates, squats, lungs, bicycling, swimming, running, work out CD’s, and strength training. Doing as many different activities as you can that use different muscles is important- it will help you get so much more toned, and lose more weight. Just try and fit as much exercise as you can in a day.
Another thing that wouldn’t be a bad idea is getting a personal trainer, if you can afford it. They can personalize plans just for you, to get the body type you want.
And last, but not least, believe you can lose the weight, because you can!
Good luck! 🙂

Daniel asks…

whats a quick and easy weight loss diet for a 16 year old boy?

weight loss cardiff answers:

I can’t say for sure if this is a weight loss diet but I just going to share with you some fat burning food which I read somewhere. Hope it helps…

You can try eating food like berries and nuts more regularly cos they contain some really great nutrients for your body and some research have shown that it can help to burn fat to a certain extent. Nuts especially is a great food for me cos I really like the crunchiness plus the taste.

As for drinks, I would recommend having more fruit juices for obvious reasons. Drink less or totally give up drinking soft drinks or soda. It will really really help a lot in weight loss.

Diet change is all about discipline! Don’t give up have way. It will be totally worth it to change your diet now and start feeling and living healthier! Oh the information above can be found more in depth from this article I read http://themusclemanguide.com/starting-on-a-burning-fat-diet/ . I’m sure it will help alot! All the best in your weight loss diet!

Charles asks…

Is there a simple vegetarian weight loss diet that would be easy to follow in a college environment?

I’ll be going to college soon and I am overweight. While most people gain weight when they go to college, I’m nearly ashamed of eating in public so I’m hoping it will be a great opportunity to lose weight. I will probably make breakfast in the morning but my other 2 meals will be from dining halls. I was wondering if anyone knew a good vegetarian diet that would help me lose weight quickly without requiring I go to the grocery store often and buy ridiculous and expensive natural products.

Lisa asks…

Any tips for teenage weight loss? (easy diet tips, exercise etc…)?

okay, so I’m 14yrs old, 5′ 6″…and weigh 180 something lbs. I am TIRED of weighing so much! I tried a diet for a while, and it worked….but I went off track and can’t seem to get back on and have now gained back all that I lost. I eat 100% whole grain bread and eat very healthy…but I guess my problem is eating too much too often.(my breakfast is always 3/4 cups of granola cereal or Kashi wheat squares. Lunch is usually an apple and a granola bar…but sometimes I forget my lunch or steal from my friends trays. My mom cooks the meals…so I have no control over that.) I tell myself that if I eat a big lunch or breakfast, I won’t have a snack later, but I always seem to end up have a snack and going overboard!!! I love fruit and most veggies, and unfortunately…carbs. Is there ANYTHING that I can do (without paying for any kind of diet program etc…) to help me loose weight? I can’t exactly go and buy some diet pills or anything or go to weightwatchers. I live in a VERY hilly area, and so it seems difficult to start out a daily running routine in/on such harsh terrain. I’m an extremely shy person and so I absolutely HATE going to the gym. Is there anything I can do to help me loose weight? I’m desperate here! (i want to do this the “healthy way”)
Is Acai berry really alright for 14 year olds? I mean…I’ve considered it… but i just don’t want ot risk it if there is any risk in it at all.

weight loss cardiff answers:

You seem to be eating pretty healthy, so congratulate yourself on that. Eating healthy is hard to do (for me, at least!) Try keeping yourself busy to avoid snacking. If you usually snack while watching t.v, or using the computer, find something else that will keep you busy. Ask your parents to buy you a fun workout dvd (maybe for your birthday ect.). Something that you’ll enjoy doing, like a dance workout. Talk to your parents about maybe enrolling you in a dance class, or boxing. It will help you lose weight and probably even help you build more confidence! Good luck!

weight loss cardiff answers:

The only way to lose weight, get fit and stay healthy is the slow way – healthy diet and regular exercise. If you rush, you fail, and you have only yourself to blame. Think long-term: don’t you want to get fit and stay that way for the rest of your life?

No dieting: dieting ends, healthy diet is a lifetime of good habits. A basic healthy diet: lean meats and legumes, dark veggies, whole grains, lots of water, reduce processed carbs (soda pop is Satan!) and increase fiber. Snack on fruits and veggies instead of salt and sweets. You don’t have to count every calorie, but you should be aware of your overall intake.

It’s unrealistic to say you will never treat yourself to deliciously evil food ever again. The first time you fail becomes the excuse to quit completely. Allow yourself a moderate splurge once every two or three weeks. It’s easier to be good if you know there’s a treat in your future. Avoid temptation – don’t buy it until you eat it, and never get extra.

Exercise: start easy and work your way up. Make the time 3-4 days a week – an hour walk (your dog will love you!), a stroll on the treadmill, swim, dance, whatever. NO EXCUSES – it has to become a habit. Add exercise to your day in small ways: take the stairs instead of the elevator, do isometrics at your desk, ride your bike to school instead of the bus. After a few months start challenging yourself – add leg weights, join a gym, take jazzercise, something. Keep working up from there.

Sadly, exercise doesn’t burn enough calories to lose much weight – a two-mile fast walk equals about half of a Big Mac. But exercise is irreplaceable for a healthy heart, stamina and flexibility. That means a longer and more active lifespan.

Each body has different needs – develop healthy habits tailored to your body and mind. Educate yourself – anatomy and physiology is the owner’s manual for your body. There are thousands of websites with nutrition and exercise information. You can tell the good ones – they aren’t selling quick diet fixes or the patented Abdominatorizerinator.

Don’t quit just because you fall off the wagon one or twelve times – everyone has weak moments. That’s no excuse! It took years to develop bad habits; it will take time to change them.

Your biggest obstacles are laziness and unrealistic expectations. Your best tools are perseverance and education.

Good Luck!

School Starts In 2 Weeks, Lose Weight?

So yes, school starts back up for me in 2 weeks. August 20th. I will finaly be a SENIOR :} muahaha.

Anyways, I kinda wanna lose some weight, im not fat or anything but I wouldn’t mind being more…toned? What could i do to just get a tighter stomache?

Thanks :]

weight loss cardiff answers:

Well, lucky lucky you. School starts on the 17th for me. :p
Well, you really should have started a few weeks earlier, but yeah, summer vacation gets a buncha people going and takes up time for studying, and exercising. You can still start now, and have a fit body in a few weeks if you make an exercise work out plan. Just eat healthy, exercise at least 2-3 times a day by doing crunches, push-ups, pull-ups, weight lifting, or jogging/running a track. This will help you get toned in no time. But, everything takes time, so you can start whenever your schedule is free.
Hope this helps!

weight loss cardiff answers:

Hi!

I have found a great blog with a story of a woman who lost weight in a healthy and easy way. It was an eye-opener for me. I’ve tried it and I must admit that the results amazed me. I lost more than 30 pounds so far and I feel better than ever.

So, what is this diet about? Well, it teaches you how to stay healthy while losing weight. It is so easy when you know how to do it, and in a long run it shows much better results, because after other diets I’ve tried earlyer you just get that fat back. The thing is, you have to eat a few times a day, not starve. Because when you are not eating, your body stores fat and it is much harder to lose weight. When you eat, and you know what and when and how, your body will know that there is food around so it won’t store fat – it will burn it!

Here are some hints from Betty’sblog:

1.The diet creates meal plans and recipes just for you.
2.You are able to eat a few times a day, which means that you are not starving yourself!
3.The diet is based upon calorie shifting and shows you what you are doing wrong. Betty Winter in her blog explains it all.
4.What is most important, you are able to buy all the food in a local store. There is no need for some expensive fancy food that promises miracles, but does nothing at all.
5.It teaches you how to lose bad eating.

As i told you, this diet is an eye-opener and it works. With the proper guidance all the way through the diet, it is so easy and you can do it too. It can all be found online, as Betty describes.
So, if you wish to learn more about this easy healthy diet check the blog, it’s in my source. Good luck!
