Can you lose weight fast by only eating fruit and drinking water?

I mean if you’d eat enough fruit, vegetables, and fish and drink only water so you’d still have 1200 calories, then would you lose weight fast? and.. healthy, sort of? I mean without having your metabolism
slow down?

Well depending on your weight now, you will lose weight. But if your fairly skinny now and only eat fruit, it will be harder to get the weight off because of the sugar content in the fruit. Vegetables might be a better option for losing weight, or a balance of both.

dumbbells is all you will need. (Even if you don’t have dumbbells
there is usually something lying around the house that is heavy enough
to substitute in for them).
Here is a list of 20 exercises you can do right in your own home for
a great whole body conditioning and fat loss workout.


Group 1:

Bodyweight Squats
Bulgarian Split Squats
Prisoner Squat
Reverse Lunge
Step Ups
One Leg “Get Ups”

Group 2:

Push Ups
Push Up and Point
Mountain Climbers
Decline Push Ups
Push Ups/Stick Ups
Step Up and Press
Squat and Press

Group 3:

Side Plank
Curl and Press
One Arm Rows
Bird Dogs
One Leg Deadlifts

Pick one exercise from each group and do them all back to back for a
mini circuit of 3 exercises. Do each exercise for a timed interval of
10 seconds for a total of 30 seconds per mini circuit.
As you get better at them work up to doing each exercise for 20
seconds for a total of 60 seconds per mini circuit.
Take 30-60 seconds rest between mini circuits.
For beginners do a total of 3 mini circuits to start. Working up to 4
or 5 as you get better at them.
Once you’re ready to move to the next level add a second mini circuit
by choose 3 different exercises (one from each grouping). Do your
second mini circuit with the same time of work to rest ratio as your

You will lose weight but not as fast as you would probably want to.

If you want to lose weigh really fast then besides excessive you also have to watch your diet.
1) Do not eat any sugary foods or drinks.No high fructose corn syrup.No artificial sweeteners.If you can’t live without them then don’t eat more than once a week.
2) Do not eat any red meat.You should eat fish instead.
3) Eat lots of vegetables .If you feel like you’re too hungry during meals then eat a vegetable as a snack or a fruit.

Make your plates smaller and remember, it is OK if you feel hungry.

Anyone tried one to shift those extra pounds.
Even though trying to lose a few pounds when Christmas is so close isn’t the best idea but I’ve decided my new years resolution will to drop 2 sizes (UK 14, I don’t like it..) and I think it’ll be easier if I start now, I’d get into routine by new year.
So, Any affective workout DVDS that I can buy at Tesco, Sainsburys or Asda? (Aha, I know..Looking in a Supermarket..but I’ve seen some before!).
I’d like to lose weight pretty quickly too, Maybe 14 pounds a month or something, I’m not sure.
I’m also a vegetarian so any good recipes for a vegetarian trying to go vegan would be helpful

Ive used so many fitness dvd’s, and the best ive come across are Davina Mcalls and Natalie Cassidy from Eastenders, which is the one im currently using, i lost 2 n half stone after my 3rd child, i gave birth to my 4th 8mnths ago and have now found myself needing to lose another stone and half, so im going to be sticking with Natalie Cassidys dvd for a while and eating healthy again, a big tip is not to eat anything after 7pm, thats what helped me last time, hope this helps.

What are some easy things i can do to boost weight/fat loss?

I used to weigh 135lbs. then i started getting the DepoProvera birth control shot. Now i weigh 160 lbs. I’ve maintained this weight for a while now but i want to loose it.My goal is 125lbs. I dance 4 days a week. I do pilates and core training two days a week. Then on the weekends i go out running for at least 30 minutes both days. for breakfast i eat oatmeal and half a grapefruit. Lunch is a sandwich(tuna or peanut butter or ham or turkey on wheat) with some fruit and V8 fusion juice. Dinner is kinda up in the air. its a work in progress i guess. i eat whatever is available but i portion control.

so here are my questions.
This is how i’ve been rolling for the past 2 months. What do i need to do to make the numbers smaller.
Easy food swaps(like fast food things)?
Workout ideas(fast ones, i have no time)?
Should i opt for a new birth control? i heard somewhere that if i quit that, i’ll lose the weight a lot easier…
Just any help in general. the simpler, the better.

30 mins — more or less is good. If its too much over that I need to wake up earlier in the morning and I probably won’t do that.

Also, I get bored easy so something with variety would be nice.

why is weight loss greater when i skip workouts?

is there a reason that one would lose weight skipping excercise? i have been excercising every day for the past several weeks and seeing modest loss. i went easy on the elliptical friday, and totally skipped saturday and sunday. monday morning i had a loss of 3.5lbs! i usually only lose 1 or 1.5 per week. this has happened before. weird coincidence or is there some reason for this?

You need the rest days. Take a day or two off each week.

You could I guess if you do it 24/7. The best way to lose weight is with moderate intensity aerobic exercises where all muscles ( like the thigh and buttocks) are involved not just one particular group.

Im going to be babysitting this week Sunday to thursday. And i just gained 5lbs and i need to get that an more off. Im going to be staying at that house. so i need a few workouts to do that will be easy and make me lose weight

Get 10 things to do in your routine. 5 should be something to do with stretching(touch the sky, arms on back), and 5 should make your heart rate go up (jogging in the spot, jumping jacks). Alternate moves between the two groups of 5.
At night, before you go to sleep, do 15 sit ups.
Remember that if you want to lose weight, you have to exercise AND eat healthy.
If this wasn’t helpful enough, look through magazines like cosmogirl, or find websites that show you what to do.
