Your Question About Easy Weight Loss

John asks…

can i lose weight in 3 weeks?

i have a camp after 3 weeks and none of my party dresses fit me now .my parents wont buy me a new dress .how can i lose weight in 3 weeks

weight loss cardiff answers:

When you are losing weight, you should exercise and diet together.
If you exercise without dieting, you will get bigger appetite, which
will lead to increase of weight, or muscle grow
underneath the fat layer, and make you bulkier. If you diet without
exercising, you will become flabby and will have excess skin. For
diet, go wheat free. No pasta, pizza, bread and so on. And no food
after 7 p.m. People achieve marvellous results with it. Depending on
your initial weight, you can drop upwards from 20 pounds a month. If
you don’t eat wheat then you don’t eat all those sticky, fatty goey
cakes, you don’t eat junk food, and you don’t eat biscuits. But your
diet is still balanced. It costs nothing, and you do not have to
calculate points or to buy special meals or plans. For exercising,
start with walking, and then switch to running/jogging. Running is the
most efficient and calorie-burn exercise ever. If you are overweight a
lot, walk first or you may have health complications (heart attack,
disjointed bones and so on). Weight lifting is a good means to target
your problem areas for men and women. It’s not necessarily to become a
bodybuilder or even join a gym – a couple of dumbbells will help you
to target your problem areas (stomach, butt, legs, arms, chest).

Sharon asks…

how much weight can you lose in one week by doing jullian micheals no more trouble zones workout video?

I want to know how much weight you can lose in a week by doing this work out video. I started doing this work out today I want to know how much weight i can lose in a week. Or if it is even possible to lose weight in a week.

weight loss cardiff answers:

Try this workout and other workouts by Jillian. Alternate them on different days to achieve maximum results. You might not notice too dramatic of results, but it depends on how much you have to lose. And yes you can lose weight in one week. It is safest to only lose about 1-2 lbs per week. So make sure you keep your goals realistic! Consult a fitness professional for more tips and information! They may want to analyze your body composition to construct a fitness plan that is right for you.

Whenever you can, lean against a wall with your hands flattened against the wall and in such a way that your face is very close to the wall. Then use you hands to push your body away from the wall. Do these two or three times at a stretch.

Carol asks…

Lose weight one week gain weight the next?

Starting weight 190.8. I loss 3 lbs week-1, 187.8. I gained 4 lbs week-2, 191.8. I do not understand what is going on with my body. I diet every day and I exercised 4-5 times a week both weeks. Exercise includes a mixture of cardio, kickboxing, weight training. How in the world did I put on 4 lbs by the second week?

weight loss cardiff answers:

Weight fluctuates for all kinds of reasons. You need to look at the long term picture. Weight loss is an overall process. You need to think about many factors. There are many sensible things you can do that will make a tremendous difference over the long term if you need to lose weight. It can be done in a healthy way. This is what has worked for me.

Keeping a food journal really does help. It will give you a much better sense of how much you are eating, and when, and why.

Make a few additional small changes – walk everywhere, always use stairs instead of elevators, walk on escalators, get up and move around at least once an hour if your work or your life in general is sedentary, walk every day, use a pedometer. Walking 10,000 steps a day is a really good idea. Build up to a long brisk walk everyday, or most days. Be more active and watch less TV and spend less time on the computer. Buy one piece of exercise equipment to have at home and be strict with yourself about using it. Sometimes you can find mini-steppers or exercise bikes at second hand stores and thrift stores for just a few dollars.

Start a weight lifting routine. Join a gym. Possibly you can find one that has someone who specializes in weight lifting programs for beginners. Weight lifting will increase your metabolism as well as improve posture and appearance overall. Even if you can’t get to the gym you can work out at home using things around the house. Invest in a good weight training book. The Dummies series actually has a good one.

In terms of diet, cut out or reduce things like junk food, pop, fat, fast food. Eat more fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean meat, fish. Particularly if you choose a vegetarian lifestyle include natural peanut butter, hummus, dried fruit and nuts. Pay close attention to getting the nutrients your body needs to be healthy.

Make your portion sizes smaller. Use a smaller plate – in our society we have become accustomed to thinking that we need a large plate of food at every meal, and we don’t. About quarter of your plate of food should be protein and at least half of it should be veggies.

Learn to count calories. At your current weight and activity level, you may possibly need about 2000 calories or more to maintain your current weight. So you will lose weight at a reasonable and healthy rate if you cut back to about 1600 or 1700 calories a day.

Eat small amounts frequently, rather than three large meals. Never skip breakfast. Include some protein in your breakfast. It will help get you through the day.

Drink plenty of water, at least 8 big glasses of water a day, and more if it is very hot, if you sweat a lot, or if you are exercising intensely, and eliminate fruit juices. Fruit juices have too many calories, so get your vitamins from fresh fruit, not the juice. You will begin to see changes in your body.

An area that many people overlook is getting enough sleep. You are much more likely to overeat or to binge eat if you are tired and not well rested, so get enough sleep.

Your Question About Easy Weight Loss

Lizzie asks…

Can i lose weight by running and doing cardio workouts?

Ok so can I lose weight running on my treadmill and doing situps crunches etc. because im also trying to get a six pack…but I really want to lose weight in my stomach area can someone help me please thanks!

weight loss cardiff answers:

Yes, you can lose weight. Cardio is the best way to lose weight and the only way to burn fat. Running is the best cardio exercise.

Crunches will strengthen your ab muscles, but the way to get a six pack is though running and dieting. Everyone has a six pack, but the muscles are covered up by a layer of fat. You need to lose that fat for your abs to be visible.

About losing your stomach area fat; you can’t do that specifically. There’s no way to remove fat from a specific area in your body(short of surgery), the only thing you can do is lower your overall body fat percentage. Again, the best ways to do that are by exercising and/or dieting.

Be sure you’re drinking plenty of water and eating healthy. Good luck.

Joseph asks…

Can you really lose weight running on the treadmill everyday for an hour?

cuz i heard that if you do the same workout everday, you won’t lose weight
and im running on the treadmill everyday and eating 1200 calories..

weight loss cardiff answers:

It is false if you have ran everyday for an hour and ate 1200 calories in the past and still lost no weight so OBVIOUSLY you haven’t done it the past therefore IT WILL WORK. If you do stick to that workout and calorie intake, you should loose A LOT of lbs. Sounds like you got yourself a workout plan.

Sandy asks…

how long would it take to lose weight running 30 min each day?

If you were to run 30 min each day how long would it take to get in shape.
I’m 198 and 5foot 9in and i was thinking about trying to lose weight before lifting weights.

weight loss cardiff answers:

You don’t need to lose weight before you start lifting weights. The lifting will help you to lose the weight, so there’s no need to wait. Your fitness level will increase tremendously in a month if you exercise most days of the week. However, you do need to vary your exercise routine – your body will adjust to running 30 minutes every day, so make sure you vary it.

Weight loss is an overall process and there are no magic answers. Pay no attention to weight loss supplements and pills and all the latest fads. You need to think about many factors but most of them are related to issues we’ve known about for a very long time. There are many sensible things you can do that will make a tremendous difference over the long term if you need to lose weight. It can be done in a healthy way. This is what has worked for me.
