does acai berry power 500 and total cleanse work?

I see these ads all over the internet and I guess Dr Oz reccomended it on Oprah. Have you tried it? Is it worth the money? Is there a certain diet plan you have to follow? I know there is no such thing as ‘miracle’ weight loss supplements I just wanna know if I spend the money will I actually see results?

This is a scam. I am not sure if the product works or not but don’t buy it from the online scam. It is NOT recommended by Oprah, despite the claims. I fell victim to the free trial claim, and within 2 weeks of ordering the free trials, my credit card was charged $80 a piece for each of those products! Canceling is not as easy as it seems, either, but after canceling the credit card I used and finally reaching the two separate companies I got it canceled.

Acai berries are really good for you, but go to a local health food store and buy some of the juice they sell there. Acai is already a natural cleanse so not sure if you really need the Total Cleanse product or not. I got them thinking it was only a trial and I had nothing to lose, but was wrong there. I do recommend the Acai berry, just don’t fall for the scam. πŸ™‚

What’s the best way to drop a significant amount of fat within 2 weeks?

I’m going out with a girl in 2 weeks and want to drop some weight before then. I’m 6’1″, 265 lbs., 19 years old. My ultimate goal is to get to 225, but I’d be more than happy if I could get below 250 in 2 weeks. Any suggestions?
Also, I have two jobs, I already go to the gym 3 times a week, and I have been cutting back on what I eat.

First of all, let’s go the National Institutes of Health site to check desirable weights for height. You can follow this by clicking on the first link below. A healthy BMI (body mass index) is between 18.5 and 24.9.

At six foot one, 265 pounds, your BMI is now 35.0.

In order to get to a BMI of 24.9, you need to get your weight down to 189.

That being said, don’t rush the weight loss. The sensible thing to do is to limit your weight loss to two pounds per week. Even this modest weight loss goal isn’t easy. You must burn about 1000 more calories per day than you consume to make this two-pounds-per-week goal achievable.

In order to do this, you need to find some activity that you will stick with that burns a lot of calories. Running is excellent, but at your present weight, you will be putting a lot of stress on your knees and ankles. I would suggest swimming for about an hour a day. Try alternating sprints with lower paced swimming. Walking is good too, but you will need to do a lot of it to burn a lot of calories.

As far as diet is concerned, your first step should be to eliminate empty calories: fried fast foods, cakes, candy. Soda, donuts, and the like. Eat plants, not food made in plants.

All my best to you in your weight loss goals, but don’t rush it. It took you many years to get to your present weight. Don’t try to shed it in a few short weeks.

I’m starting Slimquick today, but just realized I may have to take it for the rest of my life! I really don’t want that, so I need to know if I’ll gain all of the weight back that I lost when I quit the pills. Anyone know anything?
