Your Question About Easy Weight Loss

Joseph asks…

Weight Loss?

What is a fast, yet easy way to lose weight? Any suggestions?

weight loss cardiff answers:

Honey, if there was a fast and easy way to lose weight no one would be fat! I think everyone knows how to lose weight but no one wants to put forth the effort or time to accomplish your weight loss goals. They want an easy out, it just doesn’t happen.
1. Eat healthy, monitor your calories
2. Exercise

It’s not hard, it’s simple, it’s just doing it, having the motivation and commitment to it that’s hard.

Michael asks…

Easy, low cost weight loss program?

Okay, so technically my weight is about average, but that doesn’t seem to satisfy me. I’m 5’1” and weigh 140-145 lbs. I’ve looked up what I should weigh and it’s anywhere from 109-135-ish lbs.

To get to the point… I’m looking for a weight loss program to follow to get off about 20-30 lbs and fast! I’m hoping within a month. Though I don’t want to have to spend too much money on it and I don’t want to have to take diet pills and do 3 hours of work-out a day.

If anyone has any suggestions or opinions or anything that could help me I’d be really appreciative!

weight loss cardiff answers:

I have been through it all and know what’s it about. The main thing is to stick in there. You can’t be an addict to food and never exercise if you want to live a healthy life and keep the weight off. I’ve worked out, done every diet, and all types of classes.

Nothing works, besides dedication and intelligence towards the subject of losing weight.

First, depending on how much weight you need to lose, your diet is the first concern. You can’t eat 10,000 calories a day and expect the weight to come off, even if you are exercising a lot. Which brings us to the next thing. Duh, Exercising…

This is a must especially if you need to a lot of weight. Get at least 30 mins of some good hardcore exercising. Do some cardio, in the long run, it’s good for the heart.

However, I find the most hardest part of losing weight/keeping it off, in my diet. It’s so hard to keep your fingers out of the cookie jar or those chocolate goodies. I’ve found a great addition to help any one out, it’s a natural weight loss supplement called Proactol. Now don’t get all crazy on me and say diet pills don’t work. That is true, but not in this case. This one isn’t meant to burn pounds while you sit on the couch. It’s an appetite suppressant, along with being a fat binder. I saved money on the pills at theweightlossplace dot com along with getting some good info. It basically makes those fingers not go towards the cookie jar. For me it’s the best pill I’ve tried and I’ve tried cupboards full. Now this doesn’t mean you have to follow my foot steps but I’ve successfully lost roughly 70 pounds and keeping it off til this day.

Well good luck and remember what I said, Dedicate.

weight loss cardiff answers:

Teenage weight loss isn’t easy is it? You might try taking 6 small snacks. It’s probably not a good idea to do without meals. Just keep the metabolism nice and fast with small snacks.

Your breakfast might be better with protein. Porridge is good fiber for breakfast, but don’t be afraid of bulking it out with eggs and ham and so on.

You’re doing well with the jogging, though muscle weighs more than fat. But keep the jogging going, short spurts are good.

Weight loss is a big subject so start to form your own plan from other people’s tips and see what works for you or join a group. There’s also the option of getting meals delivered if you can afford it.

George asks…

How often should I change my workout for weight loss and what are the best cardio workouts to change them to?

My objective this summer is to lose 10-15 pounds (whatever is do-able) before the beginning of September. I am a 22 year old female who is 5′ 5″ and 128 pounds. People tell me I look great and do not need to lose any weight but I would feel a lot better if I did.
About a year ago I got done to 118 but this was because I did cardio (a lot of running) for an hour to an hour and a half a day and ate 800-1000 calories every day for 8 months.
I want to be that weight again so badly but my body is very stubborn in keeping my body weight at my current weight or above. I am thinking that there has to be an easier way to lose about 10 pounds that won’t take 8 months! I don’t know why it takes me so long to lose weight (and with so much effort) but there has to be an easier way.
I know that I have to change up my workouts. I am just starting swimming. Right now I do a combination of running, walking, eliptical, stairmaster, swimming, and toning. How often do I change my routines? Suggestions?

weight loss cardiff answers:

First of all, you should never eat so few calories. I think 1400 is the lowest any adult should ever go. You’ve probably killed your metabolism and are going to need to get it back to normal. It’s really hard to lose any weight when your metabolism isn’t well-tuned. I can speak from experience on that one. Eat small meals throughout the day and your body won’t freak out and think it’s being starved and store calories as fat. You don’t need to change your workout up that often to lose weight. The best weight-loss strategy is actually to do strength-training. Lifting weights build muscle, which burns calories even when you’re sitting still. Plus, you’ll be stronger and more toned so you’ll look better. You sound small so you’re probably not going to bulk up or anything (one of females’ biggest fears). I subscribe to Women’s Health, which always has little inserts with a workout for the month (or the summer, or whatever) that I love. They’re a great place to get started.

As soon as u wake up…drink a glass of water distilled water…eat a big breakfast as long as its organic food(it helps better than eatin a lil bit and starvin) organic food is expensive but it helps tremendously, also most of it tastes great…drink one big glass b4 u eat and it will make u fuller faster..so u wont eat as much..if u drink a teaspoon or two of apple cider vinegar..its nasty but it helps and the burnin in ur stomach…jus means its workin…do all types of cleanses…liver, colon, candida etc…organic sugar… No splenda, nutrasweet etc…take digestive enzymes..ull find at a health store…jump on a mini trampoline 10 min a day….walk at least one full hour a day…dont eat n e thing w/ msg…(monosodium glusomate) no sodas whether diet or not…no high fructose cornsyrup…eat organic apples.and or grapefruits all day as many as u want for snacks…eat a big salad before ur meal meal w/ ur glass of water and u will get fuller faster….yoga, pilates, kungfu, helps also, i have hip hop abs…it works wonders…..its fun and it targets all the areas needed…u learn how 2 dance 2…its great well take care hopes this helps….i know diets suck…but w/ organic food, oils, snacks, seasoning, bread, sugar etc….u can eat hamburger and fries, steak, grilled chicken etc, all u eat now jus a lil more expensive but still tastes like it came out of burger king lol

Daniel asks…

whats a quick and easy weight loss diet for a 16 year old boy?

weight loss cardiff answers:

I can’t say for sure if this is a weight loss diet but I just going to share with you some fat burning food which I read somewhere. Hope it helps…

You can try eating food like berries and nuts more regularly cos they contain some really great nutrients for your body and some research have shown that it can help to burn fat to a certain extent. Nuts especially is a great food for me cos I really like the crunchiness plus the taste.

As for drinks, I would recommend having more fruit juices for obvious reasons. Drink less or totally give up drinking soft drinks or soda. It will really really help a lot in weight loss.

Diet change is all about discipline! Don’t give up have way. It will be totally worth it to change your diet now and start feeling and living healthier! Oh the information above can be found more in depth from this article I read http://themusclemanguide.com/starting-on-a-burning-fat-diet/ . I’m sure it will help alot! All the best in your weight loss diet!

Charles asks…

Is there a simple vegetarian weight loss diet that would be easy to follow in a college environment?

I’ll be going to college soon and I am overweight. While most people gain weight when they go to college, I’m nearly ashamed of eating in public so I’m hoping it will be a great opportunity to lose weight. I will probably make breakfast in the morning but my other 2 meals will be from dining halls. I was wondering if anyone knew a good vegetarian diet that would help me lose weight quickly without requiring I go to the grocery store often and buy ridiculous and expensive natural products.

Lisa asks…

Any tips for teenage weight loss? (easy diet tips, exercise etc…)?

okay, so I’m 14yrs old, 5′ 6″…and weigh 180 something lbs. I am TIRED of weighing so much! I tried a diet for a while, and it worked….but I went off track and can’t seem to get back on and have now gained back all that I lost. I eat 100% whole grain bread and eat very healthy…but I guess my problem is eating too much too often.(my breakfast is always 3/4 cups of granola cereal or Kashi wheat squares. Lunch is usually an apple and a granola bar…but sometimes I forget my lunch or steal from my friends trays. My mom cooks the meals…so I have no control over that.) I tell myself that if I eat a big lunch or breakfast, I won’t have a snack later, but I always seem to end up have a snack and going overboard!!! I love fruit and most veggies, and unfortunately…carbs. Is there ANYTHING that I can do (without paying for any kind of diet program etc…) to help me loose weight? I can’t exactly go and buy some diet pills or anything or go to weightwatchers. I live in a VERY hilly area, and so it seems difficult to start out a daily running routine in/on such harsh terrain. I’m an extremely shy person and so I absolutely HATE going to the gym. Is there anything I can do to help me loose weight? I’m desperate here! (i want to do this the “healthy way”)
Is Acai berry really alright for 14 year olds? I mean…I’ve considered it… but i just don’t want ot risk it if there is any risk in it at all.

weight loss cardiff answers:

You seem to be eating pretty healthy, so congratulate yourself on that. Eating healthy is hard to do (for me, at least!) Try keeping yourself busy to avoid snacking. If you usually snack while watching t.v, or using the computer, find something else that will keep you busy. Ask your parents to buy you a fun workout dvd (maybe for your birthday ect.). Something that you’ll enjoy doing, like a dance workout. Talk to your parents about maybe enrolling you in a dance class, or boxing. It will help you lose weight and probably even help you build more confidence! Good luck!
