Your Question About Easy Weight Loss

Laura asks…

What is the best diet or to lose weight for diabetics?

I have to lose weight by december. I have to lose at least 20 pounds. What kind of exercise that can really shred pounds? I have no time but wants to find time. Thanks

weight loss cardiff answers:

I would highly recommend The South Beach Diet. It is all about High Glycemic Index foods, no refined sugar, and learning that a diet shouldn’t be labeled a diet but you should learn to eat as a way of life. I lost 23 lbs. On SB without incorporating exercise – when I did incorporate exercise – I lost the last 10 easily. It’s been 4 years, I still maintain a balance of eating the SB way – I have cut out sugar, white flour, processed food, sodium, and replaced everything with fresh food.

Here is my recommendation: try SB for 2 weeks, if you already exercise, then keep it up, if you don’t then don’t worry about it yet. After two weeks, see what you have accomplished, set another goal – that’s the trick – don’t look at it as having to lose 30 lbs by December. Do 5 lb. Goals and give yourself something as a reward – like a new lipstick!

Best of luck –
Michelle

Joseph asks…

Can you lose weight only eating peanut butter and vegetables?

I want to lose weight, but it’s hard for me to stick to a diet that isn’t easily available, is it possible to lose weight if I eat vegetables, and a spoon full of peanut butter 4-5 times a day? I would do yoga along with it.

weight loss cardiff answers:

Quantum Yoga is the exercise for smart people. It yields optimum output but requires minimum input. Most forms of exercise only strengthen muscles. Quantum Yoga tones the muscles, keeps internal glands and organs healthy, makes the mind keen and alert, and initiates mental and physical healing. Thousands of people have found health and vitality by embracing this practice.

Meditation keeps our mind tranquil and joyful. As a result the bodies healing process is accelerated. However, it is nearly impossible to attain optimum health of mind, body and spirit without some form of physical exercise. This is why the ancient spiritual masters incorporated various forms of exercise in their lifestyle.

Download the book and look for the postures. Follow only one rule perfectly and wait to see the results.

Sharon asks…

How can I lose weight without diet and exercise?

I don’t eat junk food,I eat pretty normal meals. I’ve been trying to cut back on the fast food, and the late night snacks. I tried exercising, but it just got annoying and tiring. I know that I cant expect much if I’m not going to do anything, but I really don’t have time to exercise and diets never work for me. WHAT CAN I DO? I need to lose 30 (or more) pounds by March! Thanks.

weight loss cardiff answers:

Yes. If you qualify, you can undergo liposuction. However, unless you change your ways, you are likely to put the weight back on. Another approach is gastric bypass. Again, this is temporary and may have serious complications.

The best approach is to simply eliminate processed and convenience food along with eliminating all forms of animal flesh, eggs, and milk. This is a permanent lifestyle change, but you do not need to count calories or be on a temporary diet. A whole foods, pure vegetarian diet is healthy and an easy way to lose weight without counting calories or extra exercise.

I lost 50 pounds easily and kept it off by eating a whole, plant based diet, eliminating most processed foods and convenience foods. This is a lifestyle change.

Robert asks…

What are good diets to steadily build muscle?

I’m 6ft 150Lb . I am athletic so I am in shape. I want to start building muscle so i decided to join the gym. My partner has been going for a while is guiding me through the machines and stuff. I don’t know a good diets to build muscle. Anybody have an easy diet that doesn’t include supplements?

weight loss cardiff answers:

Eat the foods that bodybuilders eat in the same fashion that they eat them (5-6 balanced and proportioned meals, eat every 3 hours). At least 70% of your muscle gains will be due to the food you eat, so that is the most important aspect to focus on. There’s to many foods to list here, so just do a search on the foods bodybuilders eat. They have it down to a science on which foods sets your body in the most anabolic (muscle building) and fat burning mode. Right down to getting the maximum release of good hormones (testosterone and growth hormone) and the minimum of bad hormones.

Edit: Supplements aren’t nessicary anyway and only a few of them give you a slight improvement (3%) over good healthy food.

Michael asks…

What are the side effects of popular diets?

I am doing a group presentation and wanted to know what types of nutrient and other things your neglect yourself when doing diets such as the grapefruit diet and Atkins Diet. I need three diets, though I only need to talk for 4 minutes.

weight loss cardiff answers:

The two most popular diets are:

– Calorie restricted diet
– Atkins diet

Neither diet is effective over a period of one year or more (Gina Kolata “Rethinking Thin”). The human body is architected to prevent starvation and was not designed to handle the amount of fat, oil, sugars, and additives in the standard American diet today. When you eat too few calories, your body automatically reduces metabolizm and stores fat. Calorie restricted diets go against the hard wiring of the human brain.

Atkins is down right dangerous according to Dr. Neal Barnard and Dr. Dean Ornish (among many experts in human nutrition). The risk of heart disease, obesity, stroke, some cancers, and diabetes can be expected to increase in this diet. The diet is high in cholesterol and fat and will cause cardiovascular disease

The one diet that seems to work universally when a person follows it for life is a pure vegetarian diet. According to the experts listed before and Dr Calwell Esselstyn, Jr. This is an ideal diet. I lost 50 pounds by changing my eating habits in this way. Vegetarians must be careful to get enough vitamin B12, vitamin D, and Omega-3 fatty acids. These can be added with supplements.
