Your Question About Easy Weight Loss

Lisa asks…

How encourage my sister to lose weight?

Ever since she was a child my sister has had a weight problem. However when she went to college, was real busy, walked and took swimming classes she lost a lot of weight and looked great! But after college and got married she’s gained it back plus more. She knows she needs to lose it and has tried going to the gym but nothing is working (even had a free session with a trainer for few weeks). Her big problem is food and self motivation. She’s currently 28 but i’m afraid the older she gets the more problems she’ll face. She said her knees already kinda do hurt already. She lives in different state then I, so I can’t easily meet up w/ her. I think its also hard for her b/c her hubby is a coach so he is constantly working off what he eats.

Your sister might benefit from a program like Weight Watchers or Jenny Craig. She would have someone to be accountable to and they would give her a diet and exercise plan. Maybe for Christmas you could buy her a gift certificate to get her started. She also may want to invest in some exercise equipment for her home like a treadmill or set of weights.

Other than giving her some helpful suggestions now and then, there really isn’t much you can do. She is the one who needs to decide she’s ready to take her health seriously and put in the effort.

HELP seriously need to lose weight?

when I started going out with my boyfriend 4 years ago I weight 10st 3lbs and now I have put on over 6 stone!! I now weigh 16st 7lbs. I have went from a size 10 to a size 16/18.

I know exactly what has went wrong, too many takeaways not enough exercise. Last year I went on a diet and managed to lose 12lbs in 2 weeks and in total 18lbs but I went through some family trouble and went back to binge eating again

I am more of a night time eater, you know I hardly eat during the day, have my dinner and have lots of snacks after that go to bed and when I wake up Im not hungry so wait to have my dinner before having anything to eat..

What I am asking is how can I stick to eating healthy? My partner is’nt overweight so he has no need to eat low cal foods.

6 stone is a lot to lose, but I would be happy to fit into a size 12 by this time next year, its just I get bored easily and I am fond of alcohol (Im only 22 so I enjoy a night out 3 times a month)

I just don’t want to keep gaining weight. I went to the doctor last year and they gave me these pills that stop you from absorbing fat but they were quite nasty and I needed to keep going to the toilet every 10mins (number 2) and this orange fat just leaked from me. It was impossible to go out so I stopped them.

Does anyone know any good web-sites that have healthy meals and a diet plan that I can follow (preferably free)?

Robert asks…

How long after you quit smoking were you able to start jogging?

Did you lose weight easily or was it tough? Thanks!

weight loss cardiff answers:

I never had a problem with gainig weight after quitting smoking..I actually used to jog prior to, during, and after quitting..probably about 2-3 weeks after not having a stog at all did I really notice the difference it made in my running, but Idont know if the fact that I had already been running before and during being a smoker contributed to tht short period of time or not…good luck with both staying smoke free and jogging! :<)
