HELP! trying to lose weight fast 🙁 fruit and veggie diet?

I’m gonna be going on a fruit and veggie diet starting today until January 15. I’ll eat more veggies then fruit, I suppose. Also I’ll only be drinking water (lots of it), low fat milk, and tea. Do you think I’ll lose weight? How much?

I’ll be exercising 6 to 7 days out of the week, 3 days out of the week will be yoga and power walking.

I needed the same solution when my highschool reunion came up 2 months ago. I wanted to lose about 30 pounds fast, I didn’t want to be the one everyone was talking about, “can you believe how fat she got?”. I new I would be that person at this reunion and I was scared to death…….I know it sounds shallow, but I’m human 🙂
Here’s what I did:

1: Eat well

Burning fat is more than just exercising. Selecting foods that promote weight loss will assist in ensuring that you drop the weight from your belly. Salads, fruits and vegetables are good options, as are low fat soups. Avoid foods that are high in sugar content and low in nutritional value. As well, make sure you drink plenty of water, as your body needs to be replenished after exercising. Never starve yourself when you are on an exercise regime. This can lead to the breakdown of bone and muscle and can cause serious injury.

I used the Every Other Day Diet, and loved it! I could still eat the foods I loved and did not starve myself at all and still dropped 30 lbs in 2 months. Check it out at

2: Selected exercises that are fun

By choosing sports and other activities that you enjoy. The more vigorous the sport, the more benefit that you will receive in it. Any exercise will assist you in losing weight and trimming fat, but sports like swimming, tennis, horseback riding, football and hockey are both vigorous. Exercising does not need to be boring. The more you like it, the better off you are, as you are more likely to continue exercising.

3: Sleep well.

Sleeping is something that all people need to do. By getting too much or too little sleep, you can ruin your efforts at weight loss, as your body’s health is directly related to how much sleep you get. If your body is tired, rest. Sleeping properly will promote good health and your body will be more prepared to shed weight.

5: Be persistent.

Burning fat does not happen overnight but you can speed it up with the Every Other Day Diet. You need to keep at it. There is only so fast someone can safely lose weight, and once the weight is gone, you need to make efforts to keep that weight gone. Do not give up! It is not impossible, and once you are in the habit of losing weight, it is easy to maintain the habit.

By combining these factors, you can take your life into your own hands, and give yourself the leaner, thinner and healthier you that you have been wanting.

Get up at 7.25, get the train at 7.50, I am in school until 3.30 everyday (apart from Mondays – 2.55) I rarely have spare time due to coursework weighing me down at the moment. 1: Never skip meals. This is the most important thing.
2: Do Aerobic exercises atleast 3 days in a week. (like swimming ,
jogging, biking , etc)
3: Diet is one of the key factor. Please donot eat junk food like pizza
and burger. Eating less or more doesn’t matter. What you eat does
matter.Eat lots of fruits and fresh vegetables.Eat lean meat like fish
and skinless chicken.Drink low fat milk.
4: Donot be idle. Always engage in physical activity

5: Last but not least. Count your daily calorie intake. Take less
calories than you actually need. To calculate your calorie intake,

For sedentary people: Weight x 14 = estimated cal/day

For moderately active people: Weight x 17 = estimated cal/day

For active people: Weight x 20 = estimated cal/day

Stock your pantry and refrigerator with healthy foods. Get rid of the high-calorie, low-nutrition snacks like chips and candy. Can fat free half and half keep me from losing weight?

I use less than one tablespoon of fat free half and half daily. Sometimes it’s only a teaspoon. The serving size on the carton suggests two tabelspoons (20 calories) but I’ve been using less than a tablespoon (<10 calories).

I'm trying to lose weight but I can’t for some reason. It’s usually very easy for me to shed pounds, but now that I’ve been drinking half and half (coincidentally) it’s not working. Could that be the reason, even though it’s fat free?

I’m doing everything else right. I’m eating properly like I should so you don’t have to lecture me on that. The program I’m using made me lose weight very easily, but now it’s not for some reason.

Dairy-free diet to lose weight?

I stopped eating dairy about 2 weeks ago to see if it had an effect on my skin (acne). It has already started clearing my skin up, but I’m also noticing I’m less bloated and I seem to be dropping pounds more easily (I can see it in my face and jaw especially). I have done the dieting thing on and off, but even when I was very good about a reduced calorie diet/exercise plan the pounds didn’t seem to come off this quickly. Now I’m on the same reduced calorie/exercise plan except without any dairy and it seems like it is way more effective now. Has anyone else stopped eating dairy and noticed these kinds of changes?
