Your Question About Easy Weight Loss

David asks…

How can I lose weight without drastically changing my diet?

I have no choice but to eat what I’m fed. I tried to get my mother to buy healthy foods before. She does so every once and a while, but she says they are too expensive, so I’m usually stuck eating unhealthy foods.
I’m not allowed to go outside often because I live in an awful neighborhood. So that cuts out running food off.

So how do I lose weight without changing the above things.
What exercises can I do inside?

weight loss cardiff answers:

Diet: u can eliminate white processed sugar. I quit adding white sugar and i lost 5 pounds in 7 days.

Fitness: u can do sit-ups and push-ups. To lose weight, sit-ups are probably better because they crunch the abdominal area.

Groceries: keep encouraging your mom to buy healthy things. Eat fiber-enriched food. Fiber is very important for your body.

Charles asks…

Can you lose weight if your on a strict diet yet doing no exercise?

I’m going on a strict diet i’m not going to say which one because you will just tell me it’s unhealthy and i really don’t give a damn so yeah all I’m asking is can you lose weight without doing any exercise.Because the diet i’m doing is pretty extreme and I probably won’t have the energy to exercise. So can you lose weight without any exercise .

I appreciate all your answers, thank you.

weight loss cardiff answers:

Yes. I never exercise I just watch what I eat and I stay slim.

Nancy asks…

Am i still losing weight even if i dont exercise?

My base weight is 160 -165. My bmi is like 27. I dont exercise because im a little lazy. Though im have cut my diet to like 1000 calories and 150 carbs and low everything else. I try not to eat a lot. Though i was wondering even with the diet can i still lose weight without exercising?

weight loss cardiff answers:

The only way to truly see weight loss is to incorporate exercise. Low calorie diets and low-carb programs will do you no good, so cut those out completely. I would definitely recommend exercise daily for weight loss, but a good way to burn fat/lose weight is to incorporate 4 small/medium sized meals throughout your entire day, don’t skip meals, and eat carbs (THE RIGHT KIND, veggies, whole grains, fruits) Eating every 3 hours or about 4 meals a day incorporating CARBS (do not cut these out, you need them) will keep your metabolism burning, speed digestion, and give less time for food to be stored as fat. Plus, with a 4 meal program, you aren’t starved by the time the next meal comes and end up overindulging in it. Snacks are alright, I recommend greek yogurts (Chobani is delicious) cottage cheese, and Peanut Butter (Natural PB, but pay very close attention to serving size, overdoing it will be counterproductive). So pretty much 4 balanced meals with each including some form of carbs to keep your metabolism working. Good luck!

Your Question About Easy Weight Loss

Steven asks…

Diet plans, 5-9 pounds a week?

So I was reading a magazine and it said if I followed this diet plan that I will lose 5-9 pounds a week depending on how much I exercise
Breakfast-either yogurt (lite) or two egg whites with load of Cheyenne pepper
Lunch-an orange, or other fruits, besides bananas
Snacks during the day- all veggies, or one of those small baby bell cheeses
Dinner-a salad with a slice of grilled chucked and a small side of lite zest italian dressing.
I’d be eating this and exercising 4-5 times a week
I’m currently 16, 5’4 and 153 lbs. Would following this diet plan really help me lose 5-6 lbs a week. If not how much would it? Thank you 🙂

weight loss cardiff answers:

Your diet and exercise plan seems very unhealthy.

HEALTHY WEIGHT LOSS IS A VERY SLOW PROCESS! You should only lose a maximum of 2 pounds per week! Losing more than 2 pounds a week is dangerous: You will be REDUCING your MINIMUM nutritional requirements for good health! Plus, you are more than likely gain all the weight back because very low calorie diets are hard to sustain for a long time!

One pound equals 3500 calories. Two pounds equal 7000 calories. So if you eliminate 1000 calories a day from your diet, you should lose 7000 calories per week which is 2 pounds. If your diet is mainly unhealthy, eliminating 1000 calories a day should be easy BUT if you already eat healthy cutting that many calories a day is not recommended because your probably getting the correct calories you need each day! You can also burn calories/fat by doing aerobic exercise.

The AVERAGE recommended daily calorie intake is 2500 calories a day for men and 2000 calories a day for women. But remember this is the AVERAGE amount! Each person is different! Your calorie intake may be lower or higher depending on your weight, muscle mass, and activity levels. To make sure you are eating the right amount, you would need to calculate your “personal recommended calorie intake”.

There is NO NEED to do a SPECIAL DIET and to completely give up junk food! When it comes to eating, learn MODERATION and PORTION CONTROL! When eating UNHEALTHY foods/drinks limit intake to ONE SERVING PER DAY! Look on the package label to see how many ounces/amounts equal one serving. Buy foods marked LOW FAT, LOW CALORIES, LOW SODIUM, REDUCED SUGAR! Do research to find out how to select LEAN MEATS for eating because they are lower in fat! Fresh Fruit is naturally sweet and healthy and can help replace sweet desserts and candy. Try raw vegetables and dip instead of chips and dip. Limit intake of greasy/fried foods and frozen meals. Only eat one meal once or twice a week at fast food restaurants. Drink approx. 64 oz water each day and limit intake of soda pop, alcohol, sugar drinks.

Still not losing weight? It is time for a serious food analysis! Keep a food journal to see what you are eating in EXCESS. Do research and find out how much sugar, salt, sodium, unsaturated fat, saturated fat, calories is needed for your age group. Monitoring the previous things found in FOODS AND LIQUIDS will greatly help with weight loss!

Aerobic/Cardio Exercise will get rid of FAT located ANYWHERE on the body! Burn calories/fat by doing aerobic exercise at least 30 to 45 minutes per day, 4 or 5 days per week. Each person is different! You may need MORE or LESS exercise depending on your age, body weight, and calorie/food intake. Do a Warm Up and Stretches BEFORE exercising to prevent injury! Do a Cool Down and Stretches AFTER exercising to prevent body stiffness! You must continue to SHOCK YOUR BODY to keep losing weight! If you do the SAME exercise routine for months, your body will get use to that routine and not work as hard to burn calories/fat, therefore you will not see results! Easy INDOOR aerboic exercise includes dancing to your favorite music, step aerobics using a step bench, rebound aerobics using a mini trampoline, or doing aerobic exercise videos that can be bought at Amazon website or Collage Video website.

Lisa asks…

Need a diet plan?

Ok, so I’ve let myself become disgusting. I was depressed for almost a year and I gained almost 80 pounds. I am only 5’0″ and I weigh 195lbs. Despite being gross, I have found a wonderful man who has asked me to marry him. My wedding is in about 6 months and I would like to lose a little weight, not only to look better, but also for my health. I have an exercise regiment in place, but I need a diet plan. I need something I can follow exactly, because I have a hard time following anything. If anyone knows of anything that I can use, please let me know.
I can’t afford anything professional

William asks…

P90X without the diet plan?

Hi! I was just starting P90X today, and I was wondering if it is useless if you don’t do the diet plan. Could I just eat my normal a day and still see some sort of results? I usually eat around 1500-2000 cals. Would this really make a huge huge difference?
And just putting it out there that I am kind of okay with my weight. I’m 5’9″-10″ and about 155lbs

weight loss cardiff answers:

The P90X diet is quite flexible. I dont stick to it strictly and you can determine for yourself which phase you are on.
But it is basically broken up into 3 phases, with a certain proportion of carbs, fat and protein in each:

The first phase is referred to as the ‘Fat Shredder’ phase and will help you with strengthening the muscles while also losing all that excess body fat that’s on your body. This part of the P90X nutrition plan is composed of 50% protein, 30% carbohydrates, and 20% fat.

After that, then you have the energy booster plan, which is for those who are looking for additional energy to increase their performance. This part of the plan contains 40% protein, 40% carbohydrates, and 20% fat.

Finally, the third phase in the P90X nutrition plan is the endurance maximizer phase and is for those who are looking to perform high level endurance activity. Since energy needs are greater for these individuals, this plan is made up of 20% protein, 60% carbohydrates, and 20% dietary fat

You can read more about the diet here

Hope that helps!

I would like website that have free weight loss diet plans online or your personal plan as well!

weight loss cardiff answers:

To lose weight successfully, you should know:

Low Fat Foods DON’T WORK………
You cannot lose weight using Low Fat Diets. Low fat foods have been popular for more than 15 years, but yet our society is getting more overweight as each year passes. This fact alone should tell you that eating a purely low fat menu is not the answer to losing weight.

Low Calorie Diets DON’T WORK……..
You won’t lose weight using a Low Calorie Dieting Plan either. In fact, eating low calories is the worst thing that you can do to your body, since that will only slow down your body’s fat burning engine and ruin all chances of losing weight (low calorie diets may allow a few pounds of weight loss for the first few days, but then after that all weight loss comes to a halt — known as a dieting plateau). You can never get slim by starving yourself.

Low Carb Plans DON’T WORK…….
You’ll probably find it extremely difficult to get slim using a Low Carb Dieting Plan. Low carb diets have recently become popular over the last couple years, but the problem with low carb menus is that they are too strict and TOO HARD TO FOLLOW for average people. Low carb menus tend to rob your body of too much energy (carbohydrates) and make it nearly impossible to remain on the program for very long. This is why so many dieters find it difficult to follow a strict low carbohydrate menu.

In fact, the food that you eat can either make you THIN or FAT!!!

Paul asks…

What are some good websites for weight loss?

I’m not looking for diet plans, just websites that encourage and inspire weight loss.

weight loss cardiff answers:

Below website teaches you all about how foods affect your body making it easier to be thin. It teaches how to develop new, good habits so staying thin will not take hardly any any effort.

It has a whole different way of dealing with this since current teachings of our society on this has made obesity (according to Atlantic Monthly) the #1 health problem in the world replacing hunger and infectious disease. Isn’t that terrible that while many cannot afford to buy enough food, our extra money is killing us and ruining our health?

John asks…

What is the best weight loss pill or exercise routine?

I am almost 6 months after giving birth. I had a cesarian section and that was my first child. I breastfed up until a few weeks ago, and all I did was gain weight from it; not that I mind because giving my son the best start in life is well worth it. I gained a whopping 65 pounds while pregnant and I was 130, 5’4 before I was pregnant and I have not lost 1 pound since. So, I’m still 195. I eat extremely healthy, I do not eat meat, only fish. I do take anti-depressants to help out with my PP depression. What is the best weight loss pill to help me? I know that no pill is a magic pill without exercise and proper diet, but I have tried OxyElite Pro in the past pre pregnancy but I never really had to lose weight so it never did anything. What are good weight loss supplements and a good workout plan that is realistic with a having a baby. I’d love to lose atleast 50 pounds by summer. Thank you

weight loss cardiff answers:

Your Question About Easy Weight Loss

Donald asks…

How long will it take to lose 10 lbs on this diet plan?

How long will it take to lose 10 lbs on this diet plan? I am only eating raw fruits and veggies, almonds, eggs and plain tuna. For dinner, I eat something a little more filling but still healthy. Like fish with steamed veggies or shrimp with rice. Drinking only water and sometimes tea with a tsp of sugar or orange juice. I am 26, 5’3″ and weigh about 129. I really want to lose weight and i really hate exercise. Is this possible?

weight loss cardiff answers:

Hi,

You won’t lose weight using a Low Calorie Dieting Plan. In fact, eating low calories is the worst thing that you can do to your body, since that will only slow down your body’s fat burning engine and ruin all chances of losing weight. Low calorie diets may allow a few pounds of weight loss for the first few days, but then after that all weight loss comes to a halt, known as a dieting plateau. You can never get slim by starving yourself. A healthy weight loss program is one, which does not make you lose weight in such a manner that your health is spoiled. Starvation is not a worthy way to lose weight because most people will fail to abide to the program rules after a certain period. The moment you stop the plan, your weight will reverse back to where you start and sometime worst.

I graduated high school at 240 pounds and at 5 foot 3 that made me about as round as I was tall. I was one of those overweight teenagers who ate anything and everything without any regard to the effects it was having on my own body. Therefore, I began the diet pills, which did not work; I ate the special diet foods and even began drinking diet beverages. None of this stuff worked for me, just as it does not work for millions of overweight people. Eating less did not work and I was not one to work out or even get up and do anything remotely related to exercise. I knew I would look silly and it would hurt. I never thought or really cared about the health effects this would have on me, back then.

A year ago after a successful weight loss plan, now at 120 pounds, it is a major difference. I’ve lost 30 pounds in the first month. The most significant change in my life is the amount of energy I now have and the way my clothes fit loosely. Everyone close to me and people I haven’t seen in a while are amazed and tell me that I look really good. This is a life changing experience for me although at first I was skeptical about the weight loss plan.

Our own metabolism system play a vital part in controlling the amount of body fat burned in the process of providing energy to the body. Knowledge about our own metabolism function is the mother to all weight loss programs. With the knowledge you not only reduce your weight but able to maintain an ideal weight and living a healthy life. The weight loss program has proven to be effective in the short and long-term, without need to endure starvation and without any daily athletic workout. (But taking a light exercise every few days is highly recommended). Best of all you can eat what you most enjoyed without gaining any weight The weight loss program is affordable by all and do not need to pay a monthly fees to use it. In contrast to diet pills regime where you need to buy it on a regular basis and you will gain more weight when you stop taking it.

The success has inspired me to help others and i am sure you won’t be disappointed. The link is at the source below and discover how you can become noticeably thinner in 11 days by eating in a way you’ll actually enjoy.

Mandy asks…

What is the best diet plan or way to lose weight quickly?

I want a diet plan or excercise tips on how to lose weight fast. i really want to get fit by summer. I really dont want to have to go out annd buy anything like excercise video, or equipment.

weight loss cardiff answers:

Weight loss is an overall process. You need to think about many factors. There are many sensible things you can do that will make a tremendous difference over the long term if you need to lose weight. It can be done in a healthy way. This is what has worked for me.

Keeping a food journal really does help. It will give you a much better sense of how much you are eating, and when, and why.

Make a few additional small changes – walk everywhere, always use stairs instead of elevators, walk on escalators, get up and move around at least once an hour if your work or your life in general is sedentary, walk every day, use a pedometer. Walking 10,000 steps a day is a really good idea. Build up to a long brisk walk everyday, or most days. Be more active and watch less TV and spend less time on the computer. Buy one piece of exercise equipment to have at home and be strict with yourself about using it. Sometimes you can find mini-steppers or exercise bikes at second hand stores and thrift stores for just a few dollars.

Start a weight lifting routine. Join a gym. Possibly you can find one that has someone who specializes in weight lifting programs for beginners. Weight lifting will increase your metabolism as well as improve posture and appearance overall. Even if you can’t get to the gym you can work out at home using things around the house. Invest in a good weight training book. The Dummies series actually has a good one.

In terms of diet, cut out or reduce things like junk food, pop, fat, fast food. Eat more fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean meat, fish. Particularly if you choose a vegetarian lifestyle include natural peanut butter, hummus, dried fruit and nuts. Pay close attention to getting the nutrients your body needs to be healthy.

Make your portion sizes smaller. Use a smaller plate – in our society we have become accustomed to thinking that we need a large plate of food at every meal, and we don’t. About quarter of your plate of food should be protein and at least half of it should be veggies.

Learn to count calories. At your current weight and activity level, you may possibly need about 2000 calories or more to maintain your current weight. So you will lose weight at a reasonable and healthy rate if you cut back to about 1600 or 1700 calories a day.

Eat small amounts frequently, rather than three large meals. Never skip breakfast. Include some protein in your breakfast. It will help get you through the day.

Drink plenty of water, at least 8 big glasses of water a day, and more if it is very hot, if you sweat a lot, or if you are exercising intensely, and eliminate fruit juices. Fruit juices have too many calories, so get your vitamins from fresh fruit, not the juice. You will begin to see changes in your body.

An area that many people overlook is getting enough sleep. You are much more likely to overeat or to binge eat if you are tired and not well rested, so get enough sleep.
