Diets have come and gone and a new one will be invented tomorrow promising you everything and delivering very little. That is because they are considered something you go on and then go off. In other words, they are temporary. That is not to say they are useless just that they will never give you continued success unless you change some things permanently.

What is a Diet Good for?

Diets have their place in your weight loss goals. First of all, they can be beneficial to jump starting your metabolism. Kind of a fire starter if you will. A jump-start will give you more energy and the initial weight loss can boost your self-confidence.

However, you will need to be ready to make some whole life changes if you want the results to be permanent. What are some changes you will need to make? Well a lot of that depends on you.

Lifestyle Changes- Fast Food

Are you a fast food junkie who eats out at least a couple of times per week? If so, you will find that you have plenty of company. Many people are so busy that the drive through is a perfect solution for dinner, lunch and even breakfast. The problem is many have no idea that one meal from a fast food restaurant can contain nearly a whole day’s caloric intake.

One popular fast food joint has a burger that is 750 calories! The burger alone is a third of your recommended daily allowance; add the fries and a drink and you are done for the day.

Does this mean you can never have fast food again? Not necessarily, but it will mean that you have to be aware of what you are eating. Most fast food places have a website that contains all the nutritional information for the foods they serve. Check them out then make you a list of “safe” fast foods.

Exercise Changes

If you never move your body more than from the house to the car to work and back you will have a hard time losing weight and keeping it off. The human body functions best when there are periods of exercise. It increases mood stabilizers in the blood stream and best of all burns calories.

While you are on your diet, take the time to incorporate exercise into your life. You will feel better and increase your weight loss rates exponentially. Start with a walk, park further away from the store or your office. Then as you progress, find time to walk more or jog. Whatever you can comfortably fit in your schedule will be a great place to start.

Healthy Eating

This is absolutely the most important part of all. While you are on your chosen diet, you will want to become familiar with healthier food choices. Find ways to make your favorite foods better for you. Can you substitute ground turkey for ground beef in some recipes? Learn new recipes that include fresh fruits and vegetables.

You see your body needs several things to function at a healthy level. Proteins, carbohydrates, vitamins, and minerals just to name a few. You also need certain fats to cushion joints and protect your vital organs. Create a lifestyle eating plan that brings all of these elements into play and you will feel amazing and best of all you will be able to lose weight and keep it off.

Check my source, it might help. Good luck!

But my weight just stays the same.
Help please
Thank you

weight loss cardiff answers:

Hmmm..maybe you need the right diet plan. Eating less does not make any difference and even intensive cardio exercise. Walking is the best exercise suggested by the experts.

All you need now is to be on diet this diet plan and losing weight is alwys possible.

You need to consume a balance diet plan foods which are made up of:

i. Lean proteins,
ii. Fruit and vegetables, and
iii. Sources of fat come from whole foods (such as cottage cheese or eggs).
Iv. Starchy carbohydrates (such as oats and pasta).

Divide your meals into 4 and that should be eaten at a minimum of 2 1/2 hours apart.

There is no calorie or carb counting, no limit on portion size, so eat until you feel your stomach is OK.

You can lose 10 lbs within a week with this diet plans, which consists of 2 type:-

1. Online Diet Generator – If you want to lose weight MORE QUICKLY. It generates your menu in just seconds.

2. 10 Weight Loss Rules- If you would rather lose weight more “casually” (without having to follow a specific diet) then the second weight loss program which is a collection of which you can use to lose weight in a much more “casual” way.

To lose weight you need to manipulate which types of calories enter your body at each meal.

The first thing you must do is learn the 3 types of calories, and which calories are in each type of food that you eat.

Some of sample foods made of Protein and Carbs (Carbohydrates) are :-

PROTEIN FOODS

* Lean Roast Beef

* Cottage Cheese (low fat)

* Eggs (scrambled, hard-boiled)

CARBS(Carbohydrates) FOODS

* Mixed Salad (only lettuce, tomatoes, and
veggies allowed)

* Dressing should be Low Cal dressing. Use sparingly,
you should not smother the salad with too much
dressing.
* Bread (should be “oat” or “bran” type bread
only)

* Mixed Vegetables (fresh or frozen)

All you need is just rotate this Protein and Carbohydrate meals for One week and you will lose up to 10 lbs within that.

You need to maintain your diet and eat for rest of your life the food you like. To maintain your new slim body you will have the list of some general “rules”. These rules are meant to be “general” and “simple” because you can easily maintain your new body by just using a the simple and general rules.

For example, the rule about breaking up your daily food intake into 4 meals may “seem” simple, but it can control how slim you stay in the future.

You will be also presented with rules about what to avoid when grocery shopping, how to order food at restaurants, and how to order at fast food establishments.

The late night eating habit and other non-healthy eating habits also been tackled.

These rules are “”simple sounding”” but they are enough to maintain your new body for the rest of your life.

See the sample rotation of the meals and get more info on the diet plans at http://www.squidoo.com/Lose-10lbs-AWeek

I hope this will help you to lose weight and the most important without any harmful diet pills. Do share the good news with me. Thanks

Ruth asks…

weight loss cardiff answers:

My diet plan is really Bad hahaa! But I found a diet plan that could help you lose weight (:

Breakfast: Oatmeal with all kinds of seeds (sesame seeds, sunflower seeds, etc.),sprouts, wheat germs(or take in wheat germ oil), rice milk instead of cow milk, raisins. It will make you feel full till lunch time + it gives you great nutrition and it almost couldn’t be healthier breakfast!

Lunch: Two pieces of spelt bread with cucumber/apple/banana bites. You can have a little butter under if you like.

3pm: Carrots/apple.

Dinner: Chicken breast with lots of veggies and salad and olive oil on top of salad.

If you feel really hungry at like 9pm get a fruit or vegetable.

Hope this helps! <3 xoxo

Your Question About Easy Weight Loss

John asks…

Great ways to lose weight after pregnancy?

I am 39 weeks pregnant with my second child in two years, so I know that I have packed on quite a lot of weight.. I am scared to even look at the scales..

I was wondering, does anyone have any great tips for losing weight while breastfeeding a newborn, and taking care of a 13 month old?

weight loss cardiff answers:

Lol! Don’t worry. Just wait a few months til your 13 month old becomes a serious “toddler”. You’ll be running round so much the weight will fall off! ;o) I know. My daughter’s almost 3!

Breast feeding is definately the best way to quickly lose baby belly weight as you probably know. And just watch what you eat. Change to diet soft drinks and nibble on carrot sticks for example instead of crisps and chocolates (if like me you are sweet-toothed) and it’ll make a huge difference.

If you want, join a gym. Okay, I’ll admit it’s not for me, but hey, if you like the dreaded exercise, go for it! Leaving the kids with daddy or the grandparents etc for an hour or two whilst you go workout will do wonders for your sanity! Lol!

I’m due on the 7th of Dec and am also in need of losing a lb or erm… More than two!
I haven’t looked at the scales either. Doesn’t help that with my giant baby belly I couldn’t see what they say anyhow ;o)

Good luck xx

Lisa asks…

Can you still exercise when you are pregnant and get to a healthy weight?

How long can you excercise for when you are pregnant? Up until you are like 8 months? And can you lose weight while you are pregnant if you are eating a healthy diet and excersizing?

weight loss cardiff answers:

You should definitely check out his book http://www.informationsourcebook.com/pregfit

Everyone I know who got it loved it. I tells you how to avoid gaining unecessary weight and what exercises are safe during pregnancy. The exercises apparently also help you have an easier labor/delivery.

The book also helps you get back to your pre-preg wieght or better quickly after you have your kid.

Good luck!

Tom

Steven asks…

What can you do when you are pregnant and overweight?

I have been dieting and have lost 15 pounds so far this year. It’s been a lot of hard work and I have about 30 pounds to go to get to a healthy weight (also my pre-pregnancy weight!) Now I am pregnant with the third (surprise!) baby and I don’t want to lose the ground I’ve already covered! Can I continue to lose weight through a healthy diet and exercise without harming the baby? My thought is that since I’m already overweight, I should not need to gain extra weight while pregnant. Can I “replace” the bad weight with pregnant weight? Although I’d love to be lighter than I am now when the baby is born, that may be unrealistic, but I definitely don’t want to be heavier! Please help.

No sarcastic answers please.
Thanks!

weight loss cardiff answers:

You’re about right in saying you can “replace” bad weight with pregnancy weight. At least that’s what I’m doing. I was about 30 pounds overweight prepregnancy, but I was working on eating more healthily and exercising more often. You will need an increasing number of calories since you’re pregnant, but as long as you make sure those are coming from healthy sources, you won’t gain much weight. It is okay to lose some weight in the first trimester, but after that my doctor doesn’t recommend it. I lost about 7 pounds in my first trimester, but I wasn’t really dieting to see the scale move. I was just making healthier food choices (apples instead of dessert, salad instead of hamburger, water instead of cola…you know what I mean!) and walking or doing my Fit and Firm Preganncy with Denise Austin DVD (lol) every day.

You’ll probably end up weighing more at the end of the pregnancy than you do right now, but not as much as if you’d just eaten whatever, whenever, and sat around like a bump on a log. I’m aiming for a 20-pound weight gain from my current weight (about 174). If you weight more than that, you may can get away with only a 15 pound weight gain. You’ll have to ask your doc to be sure. Just diet to be healthy, not to move the scale, and those pounds will be easier to lose postpartum!

How to lose weight without exercise?

How to lose weight without exercise? I’m looking for some good alternatives because I just don’t have time to exercise each day, but I need to lose weight.

I’m about 6ft and weight about 210, but I want to get down to 180. Right now I eat 3 meals a day, about 3000 calories, but everything is pretty healthy. Vegetables, meat, etc. Should I start eating differently or what?

I’m just looking for some goods tips or ways on how to lose weight without exercise. Thanks!

weight loss cardiff answers:

You’ll need to cut your calorie intake to 1500 calories and find some form of exercise you enjoy or can at least stick to,because if you lose weight by cutting calories you’ll eventually lose muscle tone too and you won’t lose as much weight anymore.walk at a brisk pace every day and try some strength exercises too because the more muscle you build the more weight you lose.good luck!
