Ok I have been looking and looking for a good recipe for a protein shake. Almost everything I ive seen has something to do with steriods. So can someone tell me a safe recipe? Or can someone tell me a safe product i can buy?

In my opinion, the best protein shakes are the ones you make at home with a blender. If you don’t have a blender, you can find one pretty cheap at Wal-mart, Target, K-mart, etc. Purchase a good protein powder at a health food store. If you’re trying to lose weight, use a whey product, otherwise just regular protein powder is fine. Mix a scoop of the powder with 1-cup milk (skim to lose weight), 1/2-cup plain yogurt, and fruit–fresh or frozen. The shake will be healthy and delicious. Is it dangerous to drink olive oil as a weight gainer?

I need to meet a deadline for weight.

Olive oil has a lot of calories per tablespoon (130-200)

If I were to drink 2 cups of olive oil a day to maximize my calorie intake (Over a course of 1- 1 1/2 month) are there any dangerous Long term or short term effects?

After one month I Will NEVER consume that much again.

That’s a bad idea. Even if you could add fat to your body by drinking olive oil, you’re just going to lose it when you stop drinking the olive oil. If you want to keep the fat, you’ll have to continue drinking the olive oil or replace it with something else. And, if you’re going to replace it, why not do that now and eat food?

Your plan is misguided and bad for your body. Oil is fat. If you want to gain weight, you should eat a good and proper diet of food and just increase your portions. If you do that, you’ll still have a healthy diet. Here’s how you should eat.

Im trying to loose alot of weight, im not overweight im just average but im not happy with my body.. i diet and exercise but i don’t see a change.. i’d like to try some weight loss pills with great effect.. does anyone reccomend certain pills they use/used and it worked?

Just do more cardio, that’s the secret.. 4-5 20 minute sessions to start and work your way up to 30-60 minutes at a time..

Of course if you went with diet pills, you might suffer from seizures or heart attacks.. Sure it looks like a quick fix and you see lots of people using them but it speeds up your metabolism for a very short time because your body gets used to them.. So in the long run, you need them like you blood, just to stay the same rate your metabolism has always been.. Or you’ll get fatter and fatter..

Chill on the pills, really.. Not sayin anything toward you or anyone who’s ever thought about them because I have before.. But really, in all honesty, you don’t need the side effects and all the problems they’ll cause you down the road for a year of looking decent when you could look even better with dieting and exercise.. It takes a lot more commitment on exercising but it pays off 10x more and you’re healthier in the long run.. Isn’t that what you want? Instead of 5 years later you’re on the pills on wondering why you’re gaining weight?

Good dieting, I’m sure you do though..anything with boneless skinless chicken breast..

My diet consists of stuff like:
Peanut Butter
Fish
Almonds, Cashews, ect…
Turkey, Chicken breast.. The boneless skinless kind.. Lean red meats..
Lots of beans and legumes..
Eggs.. Lots of them.. I usually use about 4 or 5 egg whites and 1 whole egg.. Eggs are actually easy to seperate if you crack the egg in your hand and move it around from one hand to another and eventually the yolk will still be there..
And fruits, veges… I eat fiber one bars sometimes, and I always drink 2 protein shakes a day.. One after breakfast, one before bed/working out.. Those are key for my diet..

If you wanna tone up.. You need to do cardio man, there’s no way around it.. Believe me, we’ve all tried.. Lyposuction only lasts so long lol

My advice.. Don’t eat refined sugars, too much white or other bread unless it’s 100% whole grain.. Yeah the stuff isn’t too good, but the white bread is a lot harder to process than the good stuff.. Makes you fatter.. And if you want fiber, fruits and veges.. They also have hidden benefits in them you might not have realized, google certain benefits and you may find yourself eating them more often. It’s hard to do, but do it.. They help you feel fuller, longer and are best ate w/ the chicken or turkey or if you’re a vegetarian.. Tofu/beans..

5-7 small meals a day, and a protein shake can be one of them.. Low calorie recipes.. Man, there are so many.. Check out the abs diet online.. You’ll find a lot of appetizing meals in there. Best of luck, lmk if u need anything else

Should I take weight loss pills?

I have lost two and a half stone by eating healthy and going gym I still go gym 5 times a week and eat healthy maybe not as healthy as I ust to but still healthy I am now finding it hard to lose weight. If I take weight loss pills will it help?

No sry weight loss pills are bad for you………… Instead of eating meals try eating healthy snacks, as the day goes on and you use up calories/enegry. Nooooooone should ever be “full” unless you are wieght training and want to gain pounds of muscle, which you stated you are not…

So my advice=
1.run/jog every day

2.no more meals only HEALTHY snacks as the day goes on ( no pop or alcohol too lol almost forgot)

3.do not lift heavy wieghts at the gym, u may feel like your working out harder and ur more sore but ur actauly gaining weight lifting heavy so do maybe 5 pounds or less curls 40 reps (use ur judgment)

I totally understand what your talking about my mother has been on Zoloft for over a year now and recently she has stopped taking it. My mother has gained close to 30 pounds since she stopped taking it!

This has really been a struggle for her since she has never had a weight loss problem!

Can apple cider vinegar water be detrimental to your health?

While reading a series of articles about weight loss I came across an article about 2 tsp of apple cider vinegar in 8oz of water.Then I bought some and made my own following the directions.My question is because it is also used for cleaning purposes can it erode or wear away my throat or stomach after long term use, and does anybody have any success stories.Thank You.

No it is very good for your health and most people find it hurts heartburn not causes it. I saw a site with many testimonies to vinegar helping their gerd and heartburn not the opposite.

The doctor who started the craze Dr Jarvis in the book in the 80s or so called Vermont folk medicine used it on so many of his human both children and adults and animal patients (he was also a vet) and found it only did good for the body. He went back to stufdy the hundreds of year old folk medicne in Vermont and doctor the people and animals.

He found that when used to try to change the urine from acidic to alkaline sick people always got well if they could get their urine to be alkaline Generally only produce is alkalizing and most grains, beans and animal products are acidifying.

You do want to be sure the apple cider vinegar you use is raw and not pasteurized as this kind is not really safe for the body.

Never use vinegar in plastic bottles as the plastic leeches into the vinegar since it is acidic environment (before it enters the body) if you must use pasteurized use Heinz

Weight Loss Diet Plan?

I am 6ft tall woman who weighs 168lbs – i would like to loose 15 – 20lbs by Halloween. I run my own business and am extremely busy so long workouts really dont work for me – does anyone have a diet plan thats easy to follow and would allow to loose that weight? also, i am vegan so hope that is not too much of a problem – thank you!

Cut out all simple carbs including white flours, white pasta, and of course desserts. Get rid of all sugar in diet. One really good natural sweetener that’s good to use if you ever get a really bad craving for something sweet that will not make you gain weight that even diabetics can use is xylitol (My personal favorite because it has no aftertaste and tastes almost the same thing as sugar except better). You can buy this from the health food store but make sure the xylitol you buy is not taken from corn. Another good one is honey and Agave syrup. Agave syrup is from a cactus plant. There’s also Stevia to use as a sweetener except this has a bad aftertaste :(. All these sweeteners are natural which is good for your health unlike Splenda or Sweet n Low which can over a long period of time, turn to formaldehyde in the brain (which can kill you). Always remember to only eat fruits and vegetables, nuts, grains, and natural healthy sweeteners. Do not eat too many dairy products either. And always remember to keep it at three meals a day.
