How can I lose wieght while I’m pregnant?

Im 18, 6mths preg, & a first time mom. My doctor said that Ive gained a little more weight than they were expecting me to, & its really bothering me. Does anyone know how i could possible lose some weight while Im pregnant?

I’m overweight but we are trying to get pregnant. While trying I want to watch what I eat and exercise to try to lose some weight. Some coworkers are drinking Braggs Apple Cider Vinegar to lose weight and they say it helps. What I need to know if anyone has taken it to lose weight and if it really works? And if it will affect me in trying to get pregnant? Does it have any bad side affects? Any information on this will be of great help?

Hi, no it will not affect you trying to conceive nor will you suffer any side effects. I am a firm believer in the Braggs Apple Cider Vinegar and it does help you lose weight among other things. You should check out their book for yourself or their website. If you don’t mind me saying, I think you should get yourself into a healthy weight before you conceive because you don’t want to give yourself or your baby any health risks, if you’re very overweight. Can I still lose weight if i’m pregnant?

I am getting married in June, 2011, but I just found out I was pregnant! I was not planning this, since I have an IUD. Anyways, I am very overweight, over 200lbs, and with my last pregnancy I gained 45 lbs, but quickly lost it thanks to breast feeding. Although, for my health, appearance, and wedding, I want to lose weight. Is it possible to lose weight while pregnant, and if so, what kind of diet would be appropriate?

No honey it not advisable. I really wish I could lose weight too bc I weigh over 200 and am gaining bc of this pregnancy. I have always been happy with myself, but these days not so much! Just wait until after you have the baby. Good luck to ya!

I downloaded an app called from C25k (from couch to 5k) cause I use to suck at running but my goal was to run a 5k and it starts with combos of walks and runs and slowly increase till you can run it all. That would be my suggestion if you don’t have a cell phone i know they have a website so you can look it up of the web. I lost weight just running but I also changed my diet slowly so look into some healthy diets you can ease into. You have time so you should be where you want to be if you have a plan. How much weight do you think I could lose in x amount of days with this routine?

Basically, I have a weight loss blog/fitblr on Tumblr and I mean a lot of people depend on me, but I have got to really lose weight right now.
I’m going to state testing on April 16th? I believe and my current weight is 203 and height is 5’7 5’8. Now you’re probably like why the hell does she need to lose weight for state testing, well.. there is a dude there and I just don’t want to disappoint him with my looks. (Don’t hate with what I said, I know it’s stupid that I care what others think).

I’m going to eat 500 calories a day [at most] and bike ride every other day along with running 1-2 miles a day on the days I don’t ride my bike. Also my everyday exercises that burn about 500 calories.
It is un healthy, I know. But how much weight do you think I could lose with this routine? xx

I know it seems logical that eating such a small amount of calories will mean fast weight loss but you could put your body into starvation mode meaning it clings onto every bit of fat that its got, making it harder to lose weight and causing your weight to pile on when you go back to eating normally.

Instead, consider eating about 1500 calories minimum packed with protein and, combined with exercise you should still be in a significant (but safe) calorie deficit.

Do sit ups and 6 inches work out your core, that give you a six pack or stomach mussles, if you want to get rid of fat you have to go on a diet there are thousands of diets out their and it can be overwhelming at times. Just take it slow and dont strain yourself. Good luck

What exercise can I do to lose weight in about 30 days? I just want to have a slimmer figure. A friend of mine lost weight in a month and now she looks great! I asked her what she did and she just said I exercised and drank a lot of water. I just wanted to know what sort of exercises I can do to lose weight easily and I watch what I eat to so that won’t be a problem and can I eat like a hamburger or something once a month? I have been through it all and know what’s it about. The main thing is to stick in there. You can’t be an addict to food and never exercise if you want to live a healthy life and keep the weight off. I’ve worked out, done every diet, and all types of classes.

Nothing works, besides dedication and intelligence towards the subject of losing weight.

First, depending on how much weight you need to lose, your diet is the first concern. You can’t eat 10,000 calories a day and expect the weight to come off, even if you are exercising a lot. Which brings us to the next thing. Duh, Exercising…

This is a must especially if you need to a lot of weight. Get at least 30 mins of some good hardcore exercising. Do some cardio, in the long run, it’s good for the heart.

However, I find the most hardest part of losing weight/keeping it off, in my diet. It’s so hard to keep your fingers out of the cookie jar or those chocolate goodies. I’ve found a great addition to help any one out, it’s a natural weight loss supplement called Proactol. Now don’t get all crazy on me and say diet pills don’t work. That is true, but not in this case. This one isn’t meant to burn pounds while you sit on the couch. It’s an appetite suppressant, along with being a fat binder. I saved money on the pills at http://theweightlossplace .com along with getting some good info. It basically makes those fingers not go towards the cookie jar. For me it’s the best pill I’ve tried and I’ve tried cupboards full. Now this doesn’t mean you have to follow my foot steps but I’ve successfully lost roughly 70 pounds and keeping it off til this day.
