Your Question About Easy Weight Loss

David asks…

Does working out while pregnant help the baby weight come off any faster than if you didn’t work out?

So here’s the deal. Exercising while pregnant has benefits such as stopping extra weight gain, keeping you fit, and keeping the baby healthy. Does it actually aid in weight loss after the baby is born?
What I mean is, will a person lose weight faster after having a baby if they have been workingout the entire pregnancy as oppose to someone who never worked out? I know there are genetics and what not involved, but just wondering.

weight loss cardiff answers:

It does because muscle burns more fat and keeps your metabolism higher. So, if you exercised throughout the pregnancy, your metabolism is going to remain higher and thus, it will be easier to lose weight. Also, not gaining too much weight is another issue. My clinic says that the expectation to gain 25 pounds is TOO MUCH for most women. The goal, generally are these guidelines

If normal weight, gain 15-20 pounds
If underweight, gain 25-35 pounds
If overweight, gain no more than 15 pounds.

This all assumes that your weight gain is not the result of water retention.

Robert asks…

what should I do to control my weight during 19thweek of pregnancy?

After 4 months of morning sickness and losing weight, in this part of pregnancy I have a great desire to eat.Any tips to control this?I dont want to look like an elephant while pregnant.

weight loss cardiff answers:

Congratulation you have passed a very difficult part, don’t go for any diet just try to choose what to eat.Replace what ever you have desire to eat with more nutritious one in a similar range, like baked potato instead of chips,so on. Otherwise don’t worry about weight this is some thing natural happening to most of pregnant women don’t worry your self just concentrate on the result.

Steven asks…

How do I start a exercise program and diet to help me loose my extra baby weight?

Ok all women gain weight while pregnant, so now what? I want to loose my extra weight. But how? Is there any easy diet and exercise program out there for me? I have never had to really exercise or watch my weight before. I hate it, I hate my body. I want to loose weight and feel great about myself again. But I just don’t know where to begain. Any ladies out there with this same problem? Have you done this and looked great? What’s your secrets? Please help.

weight loss cardiff answers:

All people are different so a diet and exercise program that works for one person may not work for you. I suggest trying a few different programs and making a decision on what works best for you. You’ll want to try the program out for about a month before you’ll get good enough results to make an accurate decision.

Body for Life is a good program that includes both diet and exercise. The South Beach Diet is a diet program. Slim and Six is a rigorous exercise program. These are just a few that I can think of right away. You could also check out a website such as http://www.diet.com/productsbase/show_category.php?parent_category_id=138. This will give you some diet reviews so you can find other options.

The key with a diet and exercise program that will help you to lose weight is simply to eat fewer calories in a day than what you burn. As long as you do that, you will see results and feel better about yourself. Just stick with whatever you decide to do and don’t give up on anything right away. Patience is a good thing to have. When you start to see the results that you’re looking for, don’t be afraid to give yourself a treat every now and again. Eating a fattening but delicious meal over the weekend is okay! Make sure you don’t get obsessive over lose the weight and your body and it should all work out over time.

I hope this helps you out. Good luck. =)

Your Question About Easy Weight Loss

Thomas asks…

What is a good, motivational, or competitive website I can use alongside an exercise program?

I’ll make myself exercise regardless, but having a bit of motivation or incentive would be great. I’m overweight, but I’m in good shape, so the incentive is just not there, although exercise comes easy to me, and I have a lot of energy, so I can make myself do it. I get motivation through competition, or proving others’ wrong. Are there competitive weight loss websites? I just love proving I’m better at everything I do, even when it concerns something like this,

Fitocracy is probably closest to what you’re looking for. There’s also MyFitnessPal and CalorieCount.com for less social sites.

Sharon asks…

Can someone give any suggestions for exercise programs for more weight loss?

At the beginning of this year I started eating better in hopes to lose weight. On Jan 2 I was 225.5 pounds and have since lost 11 pounds. I started exercising the third week of January, which consists of an exercise DVD in the morning (1 hour) and playing 10 Just Dance songs at night. I’m still watching what I eat and went from being sedentary to exercising almost 2 hours a day so I feel like I should be losing weight more quickly. Does anyone have any suggestions for ways to increase my weight loss? I would like to get different exercise videos for the morning, but it is hard for me to do any exercises where I sit or lay on the floor because of my back pain. I really enjoy playing just dance but I am not sure if it would be enough to do that only. I need something that has easy moves but works up a sweat at the same time. Thanks!
