I would like some diet & exercise plans that are healthy please?

I just want to lose a few pounds and tone out my legs, butt, stomach area mostly. I’ve already stopped drinking soda and I only drink water now.

But what are some diet plans? Foods to eat? Foods to NOT eat? Foods to eat now and then?
Exercise plans? What can I do to lose a few pounds? Then what to do to tone up?

A variety of veggies are always a good choice. I like to put a lot of fiber in my diet in the mornings and drink a lot of water to keep me regular.

Some of the foods you want to avoid have:
-a lot of saturated fats
-sodium
-sugar

Also limit your white bread, rice, and pasta. Try for whole grain instead.

Lean meats such as chicken and turkey are great for protein. Nuts such as almonds and walnuts are good now and then.

I think as a general rule, do an activity for 30-60 minutes a day. It doesn’t have to be at the gym. It could be a walk if you don’t have time for working out, dancing, or any kind of activity where you are moving your body.

If you want to loose it fast no eating after 6 drink 2 litres of water a day cut out all breads and pasta fill up on loads of fresh fruit and salad you have to eat food to loose weight if you dont eat the body stores fats so have a healthy breakast dinner and tea no snacking between meals and lots of excerise best of luck with the weight think positive and if you ve one bad day start fresh again the next morning also a tip ive found good have a glass of water before each breakfast dinner and tea helps fill you up

One: You can eat very healthy . Such as fruits, vegetables , and so on . I know this seems very hard. The catch is that you can pick one day where you can eat whatever you want. But on that day you do not over do it . Also you while you eat healthy you have to do exercise . You don’t have to exercise every single day but maybe 3 or 4 times a week .

Two : Have you ever heard of Herbal Life ? Well thats another thing you can use . It cost some money though. But it really works. My friend was using it and in 2 months she lost about 20 pounds. This is how it works . You have to buy several things of herbal life though. Theres this thing where you eat for breakfast & diner . For lunch you eat anything you want . Then before you go to sleep you drink the tea. There is also a water that you drink . This is all the process of herbal life. Very simple . :]

I am 13 year old girl 5’1 and 127 pounds. i would like to be down to 115. i do not have any money to go buying different diet plans. i have been exercising 4 times a week and buying salad instead of cafeteria food for lunch. i haven’t lost a single pound and i have been doing this for 2 weeks. does anyone know a free diet/exercise plan that is very specific and can be used for a teenage girl?

You should try eating more (not the pizza) around 1900 calories a day. Try exercising 6 days a week for one hour and 30 minutes by powerwalking at an incline. Dont drink soda and eat mcdonalds. Dont eat too little that could be your problem

When I go on diet plans, I lose muscle and not fat, yet I work out 3-4 times a week!?

I go on diet plans to lose some body fat but my muscles end up shrinking!

I have a solid weightlifting plan but I have no idea why I’m my muscles are looking smaller and why my fat percent hasn’t gone down.

You might be mixing cardio and weightlifting on the same day, which is terrible for toning up and/or gaining mass.

Cardiovascular exercises are catabolic, which burns down muscle and fat for fuel. Notice how long distant runners are skinny.

If you are doing cardio in the middle or after your weightlifting, it will be using your already worn down muscles for fuel, which makes your entire lifting efforts done for nothing and unable to grow.

If you shall do cardio during your workouts, dedicated a day solely to cardio, or do very light cardio before your workouts with minimal effort and exertion.

Personally, I would do no more than a mile at walking speed before my lifts if I must do cardio.

Im looking for some good diet plans to help me loose my baby weight, ive looked online but you have to pay for them. Im a vegetarian who eats no meat but does eat dairy products.

This one works for me. Cut out the dairy, don’t use oil or fat when cooking, make sure you eat a big variety of things, eat only small amounts of oil rich foods (nuts, seeds, olives etc), eat lots and lots of fruit and veg and whole grains (brown rice, wholemeal pasta and bread) so you don’t get hungry, and regularly do some exercise. It is important that you eat a wide variety of different things.

Weight training is also very important so you can tone your muscles, the more muscle you have the more calories you burn in a day. Now your diet should consist of lots of fruits, veggies and lean meats. It also helps to eat 5-6 “small” meals a day so you can keep your metabolism going, Drink plenty of water (64 oz) take a multivitamin and get plenty of sleep. Good Luck!

I have a family so it’s hard for me to find a diet that has meal plans that I can do. I don’t know the first thing about cooking healthy so meal plans, & shopping lists would be great but the only ones I’ve seen are for a single person not a whole family.

You start by entering your current weight and then your goal weight. It will tell you how many calories you need to consume in a day to loose the weight within a desired time-frame. They do not encourage you to shoot for more than 2 lbs a week. It has a 4 step process to get you started making gradual changes in your eating and lifestyle to help you acheive your goal and maintain your weight loss. It is a free program and there are not 200 million adds or pop-ups. You can set the meals you like and you can print a shopping list. I don’t think the shopping list is for a whole family but if you set a meal plan and print the list you should be able to easily purchase the amount you need for your family. Oh, and it is not low-carb or low-fat or any trend it is about learning a healthy balanced diet, portion control and incorporting exercise into your life.

Any ideas on good diet plans for me?

I’m 18, 6’3″, 225lbs. I’m looking for a good diet plan (not necessarily diet) to lose some fat while maintaining my weight by exercising and putting back on some muscle. I’m in generally good shape but I’ve been out of commission for a few months now and have put some weight on. I need a pretty strict plan that will help me achieve my goal in roughly the same time I put the weight on. Any ideas, specific plans, or general rules you can suggest would be awesome.

Plenty of fruit and vegies. High protein gives you energy and stops you snacking. Just cut out rubbish and eat three good meals and you will be fine especially if you are exercising as well.

I have Crohns Disease and seem to have put on about 4 stone due to having to take steriods on and off. I would like to diet but find that alot of diet plans focus mainly on fibre related products which I can’t eat. Can anyone help, please?

Cant help, but my advice would be to see your doctor and ask for a referral to a dietician.

The treatment for Crohns causes other health issues (like wiight), and these should also be addressed as part of the treatment.

I believe nutrisystem does have a veggie plan, but diet systems like that do not work in the long run. You need to learn how to create meals for yourself, not have some company pre-make them for you. You need a lifestyle change, not a diet.
